This young woman has impressed me with her maturity and resolve. Here's hoping her daughter will not have to deal with strange men in her dressing/locker/bathroom when she is older. Riley, your life will never be the same. And that is something to be thankful for. I know you want and need your privacy but here's hoping you will share a picture or two of Margot as she grows. Love each other, cherish each moment and make a new memory each day. Congratulations.

Congrats to Mrs. Gaines. I hope that the crazies will leave her and her child alone. Probably a vain hope. The tranny crazies are just....well, insane, and vicious.

As the federal government shutdown continues, a clip from the 2019 Democratic presidential primary went viral when the candidates were asked if they support providing healthcare to those in the country illegally. "Is JD Vance a liar or just woefully ignorant when claiming that Democrats want to give health benefits to undocumented immigrants?" disgraced ex-Democratic Minnesota Sen. Al Franken posted to X on Wednesday, leading to the clip being posted in the comments by one user. "Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants," NBC News anchor Savannah Guthrie asked while moderating the June 2019 debate followed by all ten Democrats on stage raising their hands.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth delivered a blunt message to military leaders from around the globe this week: Get fit, get on board with the Trump agenda or get out. It marked the first time generals from around the world had been summoned to convene with the secretary, and many had expected closed-door announcements on trimming the general officer corps, drawing down forces in the Middle East and Europe or cutting civilian and contractor roles. Instead, what they got was a televised address from Hegseth and President Donald Trump. The secretary pushed a populist message of handing decision-making back to the warfighter, requiring senior leadership to perform physical training in line

Randi Weingarten has taken to wearing a paper clip on her lapel as a bizarre symbol of her crusade against “fascism,” aka Donald Trump. The president of the American Federation of Teachers is on tour to peddle her new book, “Why Fascists Fear Teachers” — yet another example of prioritizing poisonous politics over education from this Marxist fossil. Not to mention fattening her own wallet. The paper clip, she likes to explain to anyone who will listen — mostly on MSNBC — symbolizes a Norwegian protest against Adolf Hitler in World War II.

On Monday, as I watched the House Judiciary Committee convene its field hearing on violent crime in Charlotte, NC, it all came rushing back. In April 2023, I testified before that same committee here in New York, in a hearing made necessary by the disastrous progressive policies implemented by a George Soros-funded district attorney and the state’s “soft-on-crime” laws. I spoke both as a survivor of homicide — the love of my life was murdered decades ago — and as an advocate who has worked alongside countless other victims of violent crime ever since. My words were not about politics, but about life and death.
White House Puts Vance at Helm To ‘Drive

Historically, no one really wins a government shutdown. But JD Vance might. In the 24 hours after Senate Democrats voted against a continuing resolution to keep the federal lights on, the vice president quickly became the face of the White House counterargument. Vance began the day on Fox and Friends to blast Democrats for taking the government “hostage.” By midmorning, he was rallying the MAGA base during an appearance on The Ben Shapiro Show, where he predicted that Democratic resolve was “cracking.” In the afternoon, the vice president made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room.

Democrats have decided to enter their fight era. As they try to refurbish their reputation and lagging poll numbers, party leaders have decided that causing a government shutdown is the way to go. Good luck with that. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have refused to back down on costly demands they want included in a continuing resolution backed by Republicans to keep the government funded for the next few weeks. Democrats want to extend Obamacare subsidies, among other unlikely wishes. Democrats may think their tough talk will earn them points come the 2026 midterm elections, but I don’t think it’s going to work out

Vice President JD Vance smacked down Democrat lawmakers’ "preposterous" claim that Democrats are not trying to provide taxpayer-funded health care benefits to illegal immigrants in an interview with "FOX & Friends" on Wednesday. Vance said Democrats want to reinstate Biden-era federal funding for emergency healthcare for illegal immigrants that was ended under the Trump administration. "They say, ‘We're not actually trying to give health care benefits to illegal aliens,’" Vance said of the Democrats. "And here's why it's not true." Vance called out two Biden-era programs "that explicitly gave the taxpayer health care money to illegal aliens that we turned off when President Trump took over in January."

In "The Art of War," Chinese military general and strategist Sun Tzu wrote, "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win." It's 2025 now, and I don't want war, but I want to live in an America with a military that embodies a victorious warrior spirit all the same. This is the best way to deter war and be prepared when it inevitably occurs. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, formerly the secretary of Defense, gave a speech on Sept. 30 to hundreds of senior military leaders gathered that I hope will inspire such a spirit again.

“Good morning, and welcome to the War Department because the era of the Department of Defense is over,” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told hundreds of generals and admirals gathered Tuesday at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. The secretary told the top military brass, summoned on short notice last week, that 10 directives would arrive in the inboxes of commands Tuesday. Some of the initiatives include adding combat field tests for combat arms units, emphasizing “male-level” standards for fitness, and seeing that every member of the joint force — including four-star generals — take a fitness test twice a year and meet height and weight requirements.

President Trump used an AI-generated video to mock Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) on Monday, hours after he met with the Democratic congressional leaders at the White House to discuss the looming government shutdown. The faux footage, posted by Trump on Truth Social, shows Jeffries – depicted with a mustache and sombrero – standing silently next to Schumer, who, in a fake voice, argues in favor of giving “illegal aliens free healthcare” as part of an effort to court “new voters” for the Democratic Party. A traditional Mexican folk song plays over the 35-second video, for which the White House appears to serve as the backdrop.

At an address of assembled generals and admirals, Pete Hegseth, the US defense secretary, outlined changes to military policy and philosophy in a set of 10 directives meant to change organizational culture around fitness, race and gender, describing the previous state of military affairs as the “woke department.” Donald Trump followed Hegseth’s call to embrace the virtues of lethality as a doctrine with a suggestion buried in an hour-long campaign-style speech that the gathering of officers and senior enlisted advisers should consider targeting US cities and civilian populations as a training exercise.

Charlie Kirk is dead. Americans must face why. His murder was not random, not confusing, not detached from the battles he fought so fiercely in life. It was the direct consequence of his bold refusal to bend before one of the most aggressive and destabilizing ideologies of our time: transgender radicalism. For years, Kirk warned about the dangers of this movement. Not just its cultural consequences, but the deeper crisis of mental illness and violence it has unleashed across the nation. In the end, his voice was silenced by precisely the pestilence he spent his career opposing. The facts are painfully clear. On Sept. 13, 2025, police captured Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old suspect

Zohran Mamdani just offered fresh proof of his deep anti-cop bigotry with his call to shift key powers to discipline officers to the Civilian Complaint Review Board. It’s a terrible fix for a problem that doesn’t exist — and one that would lead to worse policing, and so more crime; it would likely even produce a force with far more bad cops. “What I would do is ensure that the recommendations of the CCRB be understood to be the final voice of the question of accountability,” Mamdani says — without pointing to any actual bad results of the current law, which gives final say to the police commissioner.

Most notably, the tax incidence for purchasing these vehicles shifts from the Federal government to the purchasers or the car manufacturers." Buckle up, kids. When they are in power, Democrats love to make up the rules as they go along. But when Republicans take over and decide to play the game by the rules Democrats made up, well, that's a problem. Former President Barack Obama was fond of chiding Republicans with a condescending "elections have consequences" reminder. Recently, Republicans on both the national and state levels have not been so subtle about returning that same rebuke in the form of an old Democrat "strategy": mid-decade redistricting, or gerrymandering, before the 2026 midterm election. Democrats are not happy, and the epicenter of their unhappiness is California.
