It was quite a week. The biggest story was the indictment of James Comey, about which I have reservations. But the indictment was a boon to memesters, who recalled Comey’s earlier art project featuring seashells.
Much more happened, too. The Trump administration adopted recommendations by the Harvard School of Public Health on the use of Tylenol by pregnant women, which were immediately denounced by leftists, even though it turned out that the manufacturer of Tylenol said the same thing. Jimmy Kimmel returned to television and garnered massive ratings in his first show back, mainly due to people tuning in to see whether he would apologize. He didn’t.

Kamala Harris has always had a curious relationship with words. She doesn’t so much use them to communicate as she does to string together phrases that sound like she’s desperately trying to prove how profound she is, but it just sounds like nonsensical garbage. Case in point: In her latest podcast appearance, she told a wild story that she obviously thought made her look good but was actually quite terrifying.
While promoting her new book, 107 Days, Harris sat down with the “House Guest” podcast to reminisce about her disastrous 2024 presidential campaign. Naturally, she wanted to highlight just how much the people allegedly adored her. But instead of

The New York Times is reporting that a “senior Justice Department official” has directed “more than a half dozen U.S. attorney’s offices to draft plans to investigate a group funded by George Soros.”
Soros is the notorious Democrat donor and billionaire mastermind behind a lot of the Left’s attempts to gain power and control in America. Now it appears we may get a peek behind that curtain.
According to the Times report, its reporters had the chance to view a copy of the DOJ official’s memo detailing a list of charges that could be filed against Soros’s Open Society Foundations. These include racketeering, arson, wire fraud, and providing

PARIS, Sept 25 - Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy was sentenced to five years in jail on Thursday for criminal conspiracy over attempts to raise campaign funds from Libya, a spectacular downfall for the conservative who led France from 2007-2012.
The sentence, which will soon make Sarkozy the first president in France's modern history to be imprisoned, was harsher than many expected and stunned allies and foes alike. As he exited the courtroom, Sarkozy, visibly moved, expressed his outrage at what he said was a "scandalous" ruling.
"If they absolutely want me to sleep in jail, I will sleep in jail, but with my head held high," he told reporters,

Violet Affleck took the stage at the United Nations (U.N.) to demand clean air and as her father, Hollywood star Ben Affleck, wrestles with his smoking habit.
Wearing a KN95 mask, the 19-year-old Yale freshman addressed the "Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action" panel Tuesday in New York.
Over four minutes, Violet urged governments to bring back mask mandates, invest in clean-air infrastructure and recognize "filtered air as a human right as intuitively as we do filtered water."
"We can create clean air infrastructure that is so ubiquitous and so obviously necessary so that tomorrow’s children don’t even know why we need it," Violet warned delegates. But one expert

Keith Olbermann appeared to threaten the life of Scott Jennings in an extreme way, telling him he's next to be killed and the FBI is now involved.
In a move that most would call insane following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk less than two weeks ago, Olbermann is ready to do anything but turn down the violent rhetoric, telling the Townhall.com host he's next to die.Olbermann's original post, before he deleted it, appeared to be a direct threat to the CNN contributor and Townhall.com host.
It can be seen below in the screenshot. Warning: it contains profanity.
"You're next, mother ……" Olbermann wrote in a reply to Jennings.

Elite-driven outrage culture has turned rhetoric into real risks on California’s streets, created by an environment where social media doesn’t just echo political theater, it amplifies it.
From Sacramento to Los Angeles, citizens are living with the fallout: intimidation normalized, threats brushed off, and responsibility abandoned. This is what happens when words are weaponized.
And while the Left claims the mantle of tolerance, their actions tell a very different story. Just look at what went down last Friday.
In Sacramento, the local ABC affiliate, ABC10, became the backdrop for gunfire in the afternoon. Three bullets shattered the lobby window in a drive-by shooting, sending the community into alarm. Thankfully, no one was injured.

As Bill Glahn has noted, Jimmy Kimmel will be back on the air tomorrow. So he didn’t even get a week off, and the dark night of fascism has evidently been staved off for the time being.
It is unfortunate that FCC Chairman Brendan Carr mused about denying renewal licenses on the ground that ABC’s programming is not in the public interest. Absent Carr’s speculation, Kimmel’s suspension would obviously have been due to the rebellion by hundreds of unhappy local stations (the Nexstar and Sinclair networks), combined with Kimmel’s money-losing status. Carr’s comments muddied the water and now have allowed Kimmel and his allies to claim victory over the

Someone recently remarked that what I've been writing lately seems conversational, like I'm in the middle of a dialogue with you fine readers, only I'm typing my part of it. I think I've always approached writing that way, but I'm noticing it more now that it was mentioned. Since Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I'm trying to work out how not to get permanently sucked into the ugliness that the Left is trying to drag us into. I'd like to think

President Donald Trump officially designated Antifa a domestic terror organization on Monday.
In his Sept. 22 executive order, Trump defined Antifa as “a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.” Antifa became particularly infamous during the 2020 summer of love and the so-called "mostly peaceful" protests, and it remains a source of violence in the United States, with Portland just one city still enduring months of anti-ICE Antifa riots.
Antifa, as defined, Trump continued, “involves coordinated efforts

Not surprisingly, Disney has announced that late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will return to the airwaves Tuesday night after an "indefinite" suspension that only lasted a few days.
As we reported, Disney's statement noted that their original decision to suspend him was "made because we felt some of the comments [made about alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson] were ill-timed and thus insensitive."
"We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday," they also wrote.

People celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk are worse than sick—they’re downright evil.
Has there always been this much evil? Or is it worse than it used to be? The answer is not only is it worse, it is much worse, because the philosophical basis of our country has been deteriorating for years.
The United States was created by men of the Enlightenment. The Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was an intellectual movement in the 17th and 18th centuries that used reason as the primary source of knowledge. In essence, the United States was based on reason, and it is reason that has been abandoned due to bad philosophical
