Infertility: Science, Politics, Money,

Today, Tuesday, September 16, two physician groups with contrasting philosophies are giving congressional briefings on medical treatment for infertility. There is a debate in medical circles on the best type of infertility therapy. The birth rate in the U.S. is 1.62 per woman and declining. (snip) The first physician group to testify today will be by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the very well funded professional organization of IVF physicians. This will be followed by a presentation from advocates of Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM), who hold to a newer and more holistic philosophy of women’s health care, with testimony from physicians and patients on infertility therapies.

Why are they going through all this when an incredible number of young woman don't want to have kids? It is a choice not a physical ailment. If we sustain the population we have we are just fine.

Remember the good old days when people tried NOT to have babies, and the best birth control was our personalities? Now we import cultures that consume vast resources and produce nothing but children. Wonderful.

The infertile are a small fraction of the population. The over-whelming reason for the 1.62 figure is because That Is The Way Governments Want It. The people in charge of the planet are children of the '60s, '70s, and '80s. They were told and believe there are too many people. They are deliberately keeping everyone poorer than they should be. To keep the people from breeding. To "Save The Planet". The young cannot afford million dollar homes. The young cannot afford $100,000 dollar pick-ups. The young believe they cannot afford marriage, children, the future. It is indoctrination. It is deliberate. It is stupid. It is wildly successful. Resulting in crashing global populations.

I remember sending my sister an email announcing that my daughter was expecting her third child and getting the jobless response: That is so bad for the environment. Above poster #3 is so right. The problem is not infertility, it is indoctrination. But God bless those with real medical issues.

Our kids struggled with infertility for years. They enrolled in a program that used various modern pregnancy inducers - including hormones and drugs (not IVF). After five miscarriages, they quit. Then they went to a local chiropractic office that claimed to help with fertility problems. No drugs, just diet and adjustments. Two weeks ago I met our newborn grandson. Not saying that the chiropractor's approach was the ultimate solution - just saying that the modern drug regimen didn't work for our kids an anecdotal data point for your consideration. By the way, here's something that might make you smile. My wife and I serve as greeters at a local large church. We are pretty amazed by the large number of expectant young ladies we see each week!

For those that took time to read the article, the Politics/Morality bombshell is near the end... Additionally, ASRM complains that RRM does not include technology for homosexuals to be biological parents. If G-d had wanted homosexuals to be biological parents ....

Why “No mas dolares” going south? 10 replies

I just spoke with my friend Allan Wall, a Mexico analyst, and we discussed the fact that dollars are not going south, i.e., remittances or “remesas” in Spanish. This is the report: According to the Banco de México , “In July of 2025, remittance income from the exterior [mostly the U.S.] totalled 5.33 billion dollars, a decrease of 4.7%.” That’s 4.7% less than July of 2024. They unleash criticism of a government that won’t develop its own resources, such as oil, but would rather depend on foreign welfare.
A history of violence 8 replies

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is a horrific reminder that the left is based on nothing other than terror, violence, and aggression. This has been true since Karl howled to Friedrich that the bourgeois would someday pay for his plague of skin boils. The history of the Left is a history of violence. Scarcely a single leftist government has gained power without violence or the threat of violence. No leftist government has ever remained in power without violence. Violence is built into the very foundations of leftist ideology. Marx himself fantasized in print over the apocalyptic events that would accompany the revolution of the proletariat

Here's the current breakdown if a British election were held today: Reform:30% Labor: 21% Conservative: 17% Liberal Democrats: 13% Greens: 9% In other words the parties that have brought Britain to the brink of civil war by supporting mass immigration still command 60% of the vote. Not a picture that suggests massive support for dramatic change. I know, the "first past the post" system would give Reform, at 30%, a large Parliamentary majority, but that doesn't mean the country would be remotely close to unified behind a Reform government.

I confess to a tiny drop of pity for Trump-haters within the tidal wave of amusement I experience watching them deal with the successes President Trump already has experienced. The worst of it for TDS sufferers right now must be the border, where within mere weeks, and to the enthusiastic approval of the American people, President Trump has stanched the flow of millions of unvetted foreigners down to an almost undetectable trickle. Consider the dilemma this creates for the Ministry of Progressive Propaganda, also known as the New York Times.

Republicans, accustomed to being blamed by the media for federal government shutdowns, should not worry about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s plan to oppose cloture on the “clean” funding bill Speaker Johnson’s House just passed. I almost cheered out loud when I read that the Trump administration has cancelled $400 million in funding for Columbia University, despite the fact that when I taught there about three-and-a half-decades ago, I no doubt directly benefitted from federal money flowing in, enjoyed my colleagues, and was treated very well. My animus and support for the cuts derives from the reluctant conclusion that as an institution, it has been corrupted, and nothing less than traumatic levels of change are required.

I doubt that anyone forgets the moment when a doctor tells them that they are never going to recover from the illness that brought them in and led to all those diagnostic tests. It’s terminal and it’s only a matter of time before you die. Add in the words “There’s no known cure, and we don’t even know what causes it” and the verdict seems absolute: you’re without hope. Yet my experience over the five and a half years since these words were spoken to me has not felt tragic; to the contrary, I have discovered a surprising upside to the de facto death sentence.

In the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk by a violently deranged and hate-filled leftist (yes, that is a confirmed fact), some on the hard Left have been publicly expressing justifications for, and even celebrations of, the murder. These ghouls do not represent America, nor do they represent America's center-left coalition writ large. Many politicians, public figures and private citizens on the 'progressive' end of the spectrum have prominently and unequivocally denounced the killing. This must be acknowledged and embraced with gratitude by all people of good will. The forces of decency must stand together against the cancer of political violence and twisted vigilantism.

Something fundamental shifted in Britain on September 13, 2025. In the heart of London, a sea of flags unfurled and hundreds of thousands...no, millions of ordinary men and women marched together for an idea: That Britain must remain Britain, that its borders must be defended, and that its culture, heritage, and people deserve respect. Or else. Naturally, the mainstream press dutifully downplayed the numbers, claiming “just” 110,000 to 150,000 attended. But I was there, and I can assure you that nobody who was there believes it. It was far larger, at least one million, but probably nearer three. And it did not appear out of nowhere.
