East to Alaska

On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin flew to Alaska to meet with President Trump in an effort to resolve the long-running war with Ukraine. (Too many geographically handicapped people believed SNL’s skit deriding Sarah Palin, asserting that she had said she could see Russia from her home, and they were surprised to learn how short an eastward trip from Russia is to the United States.) For a long time, corporate media largely has framed the war as one of an innocent party viciously attacked by a big neighbor, one that is worthy of unending military and financial support. As Trump has signaled, he’s had enough and wants Ukraine’s neighbors.

FTA: Stephen Bryen set out some relevant facts: (snip) ...' The idea behind this is a sort of plan (one hesitates to call it that, but it is what it is) to get a cheap ceasefire deal, send in troops, and then restart the war against Russia.' This is exactly how Hamass does things! Is anyone surprised?

Wise commentary from Clarice, as expected. Once Zelinskyy takes stock of his thin position and realizes that his support is coming from European countries that are walking a tightrope over a Crocodile infested river, he might see the light and realize that Ukraine will burn to the ground before he achieves his victory. Ukraine will end soon, one way or the other, but the nightmare that the European major players are facing thanks to their suicidal immigration policies is just beginning. They haven't won a war in the last hundred years without significant United States help and I don't see us helping them out of their current self-inflicted problems, at least while Donald Trump is President.

This conflict would have been resolved months ago...except for European butting in by telling the Z man he had to be tough on President Trump and JD Vance in their news conference....big mistake...it angered President Trump and JD Vance and concluded the meeting...with the Z man being showed the door out...and of course the European troublemakers convinced the Z man to continue the war to supply their military buddies more profit from military purchases.....

Trump may pull it off, but Zalensky will throw sand in the gears to keep himself in the billions. Cut off the money and see how quickly he backs down. Note that the Alaska meeting required jackets and ties.

One thing is for sure, if there is a next meeting between Putin and Trump concerning the Russia-Ukraine War it will not be in Moscow As Putin has suggested, as there is no way that Zorenskyy will never go there, as that place would be bad for his health.

US Left and the Europeans fighting a rear guard action to prevent Trump from getting any credit is the sole reason this is being held up. Once you begin to look at it through this prism everything falls into place.

#6 comment: "Note that the Alaska meeting required jackets and ties." I immediately thought of that photo of the Z-man attending a swanky European party wearing his Castro-clone fatigues. He stood all alone amid the elegantly dressed gentlemen and ladies in attendance. No one was paying him a drop of attention. He was the poop in the punchbowl...and still is.

I have not heard a word from Zelenskyy about anything but how well he thinks their troops are holding the line. Was it Clarice or Bryen who called it a Hitler in the bunker post (at X).

Joe Biden and company told us it couldn’t be done—the border couldn’t be fixed without complex new legislation and gobs of money. Turns out that wasn’t true; all we needed was a new president. One who was willing to take command of the situation and enforce the laws already on the books. That president is Donald Trump, and in his second (non-consecutive) term, he has virtually shut down the southern border after Biden ushered in millions of illegal aliens with his “let them all come in” policy. But it’s not just ICE repatriations and a tight border that are at play here: as Trump promised on the campaign trail,

Notorious anti-Israel activist Mahmoud Khalil showed up in NYC Saturday, quoting an alleged Hamas terrorist during a large protest in front of the New York Public Library. Khalil, 30, stood on the library steps and gave a seven minute speech in which he talked about Anas al-Sharif, an Al Jazeera correspondent who was killed during an Israeli missile strike last week. Israel has said al-Sharif was running a Hamas terrorist cell, which he and Al Jazeera repeatedly denied. Gov. Kathy Hochul threw cold water Saturday on socialist NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani’s proposal to bring government-owned-and-operated grocery stores to the Big Apple. “I favor free enterprise,” Hochul told business leaders at a Hamptons breakfast hosted by supermarket mogul John Catsimatidis, when asked about Mamdani’s pie-in-the-sky plan. The response drew huge applause from attendees, including Catsimatidis. The Gristedes supermarket owner later told The Post Mamdani’s plan would fail miserably, pointing to failures at a Kansas City, Mo.-owned grocery store that closed Monday after years of being a huge money pit for taxpayers and being plagued by rampant shoplifting and empty shelves.

President Trump made an abrupt announcement about two hours into his private, roughly three-hour meeting with Vladimir Putin Friday — declaring he wanted a full peace deal in Ukraine rather than a cease-fire, The Post has learned. Convinced there were relatively few matters left to resolve, and believing a truce would only prolong the war, Trump set aside his publicly stated goal of a temporary halt in fighting. “Figuratively, the president sort of threw up his hands and said, ‘I’m not interested in a cease-fire anymore,'” a source familiar with the discussion said. President Trump said Saturday he’s seeking a full peace deal rather than a truce after meeting with Vladimir Putin.

In July, the president signed the "ENDING CRIME AND DISORDER ON AMERICA'S STREETS" Executive Order, which aims to restore "public order" to cities and remove homeless individuals from the streets by enforcing no urban camping, urban squatting, and loitering, among others, RedState reported.

It is time to establish accountability in corporate America when it comes to the People's Republic of China. The sales were illegal under U.S. law — the university was added to the Commerce Department's Entity List in 2015 — and Cadence in late July pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit export control violations. Additionally, the company agreed to pay a fine of more than $140 million. To establish accountability, the Justice Department must investigate Tan's role in Cadence's long series of sales to the Chinese military.
