Trump makes bold claim about Iran’s
nuclear ambitions, says his ‘intelligence

President Trump tore into the US intelligence community on Friday for having been “wrong” about how close Iran was to acquiring a nuclear weapon months ago, telling reporters that he now believes Tehran has a “tremendous amount” of enriched uranium that could build a bomb in just a few weeks. Trump made the assessment after breaking from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s testimony before Congress in March that Iran was not building nuclear weapons. “What intelligence do you have that Iran is building a weapon? Your intelligence community said they have no evidence that they are at this point,” the reporter asked Trump on the tarmac outside of Bedminster, New Jersey.

Were I Gabbard, I think I'd quit and tell Trump to sod off. Airing disagreements in public only encourages one's enemies - both domestic and foreign.

The "intelligence community" never leaves the Virginia and DC area, and 51 of them signed that Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation. The "intelligence community" is 100% focused on getting rid of Trump, and has zero knowledge of anything else.

I don't know how far along Iran's nuclear program is, but their telling us that it exists to provide power to a country drowning in oil is a bit hard to believe. One thing I do know, if they had a nuclear weapon, they would use it on Israel to make Allah happy.

The media reporter asked Trump a dishonest and misleading question. He failed to disclose to Trump that when Gabbard made her remark about Iran not making a nuclear weapon that it was back in March, and instead was misleading when he said in his question to Trump that Gabbard’s remark related to “this point” in time. Obviously things could have and may have changed between March and now regarding Iran making a nuclear weapon, and obviously Trump’s answer to the reporter’s question related to “this point” in time.

President Donald Trump delivered his most explicit signals yet that his administration is actively pursuing diplomatic channels with Iran, even as he maintains the threat of military action against the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. Speaking to reporters at Morristown Airport in New Jersey, Trump revealed that his administration has been in direct communication with Iranian officials and expressed cautious optimism about potential negotiations. We are ready and willing and able and have been speaking to Iran, and we will see what happens," Trump stated when asked about Iran's conditions for negotiations.

Shortly after sunrise, Iran launched a barrage of 20-30 missiles in three waves, according to Israel’s Army Radio. Sirens were sounded in the north, and then throughout the entire country. Most of the missiles were intercepted by Israel’s air defenses; the missile that hit the port city of Haifa, where Arabs and Jews live side-by-side, was the only one that caused injuries on the ground. It turns out that one of the damaged buildings was the Al-Jreena Mosque, one of the most important Muslim houses of worship in the city. Muslim clerics, or imams, were in the mosque, presumably ahead of weekly juma’ah services held on Fridays.

Back in 2007 I received a mysterious call at the New York Sun from a man who said he was referred to me from someone at the New York Times. He said he needed to meet with me on an issue too important to speak about on the phone. The Times reporter had told him that her paper was not the one to cover the story. Cloak and dagger are not my forte and seemingly against my better judgment, I met with the gentleman who turned out to be an Iranian dissident. He filled me in on what was happening in his native country.

Israeli warplanes pounded Iran’s capital overnight and into Wednesday as Iran launched a small barrage of missiles at Israel with no reports of casualties. An Iranian official warned Wednesday that that any U.S. intervention in the conflict would risk “all-out war.” Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei delivered the warning in an interview with Al Jazeera English, saying “any American intervention would be a recipe for an all-out war in the region.” He did not elaborate, but thousands of American troops are based in nearby countries within range of Iran’s weapons. The U.S. has threatened a massive response to any attack.

One of the most under-reported stories of the past 24 hours may well be the fact that we actually do know how President Trump's base feels about Israel and Iran, despite attempts by some in the legacy media—not to mention click-servative ne'er-do-wells on X who are mired in engagement farming—to portray MAGA as being fractured over the matter. A lot has been made in recent days, particularly on X, over what some have perceived as a schism forming amongst Trump's base, with, in basic terms, the "America first" side favoring diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict while the more pragmatic wing seemed to be open to the U.S.

President Donald Trump on Sunday directed federal immigration officials to prioritize deportations from Democratic-run cities, a move that comes after large protests erupted in Los Angeles and other major cities against the Trump administration’s immigration policies. Trump in a social media posting called on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials “to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.” He added that to reach the goal officials ”must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside.”

The death toll grew Sunday as Israel and Iran exchanged missile attacks for a third consecutive day, with Israel warning that worse is to come. Israel targeted Iran’s Defense Ministry headquarters in Tehran and sites it alleged were associated with Iran’s nuclear program, while Iranian missiles evaded Israeli air defenses and slammed into buildings deep inside Israel. In Israel, at least 10 people were killed in Iranian strikes overnight and into Sunday, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service, bringing the country’s total death toll to 13. The country’s main international airport and airspace remained closed for a third day.

The ANC's National Democratic Revolution strategy compels dominating the Judiciary; it reads: "judicial independence to be undermined, in part by vesting most appointments to the bench in an ANC-dominated Judicial Service Commission." It was therefore not unexpected that the Constitutional Court might rule in support of the slogan, "Kill the Boer". Sadly, what Ramaphosa actually intends, despite his grand terminology, is that there will be a redistribution of wealth and asset ownership in the form of either expropriation without compensation and/or a mandatory transfer of equity in businesses held by minorities to the black majority.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson unloaded on her Supreme Court colleagues Friday in a series of sharp dissents, castigating what she called a "pure textualism" approach to interpreting laws, which she said had become a pretext for securing their desired outcomes, and implying the conservative justices have strayed from their oath by showing favoritism to "moneyed interests." The attack on the court's conservative majority by the junior justice and member of the liberal wing is notably pointed and aggressive but stopped short of getting personal. It laid bare the stark divisions on the court and pent-up frustration in the minority over what Jackson described as inconsistent and unfair application of precedent
