An Iraqi man was the first immigrant the U.S. deported to Rwanda in a new supposed Trump administration arrangement.
The U.S. deported Omar Abdulsattar Ameen earlier this month, after he lived in the U.S. since at least 2014, when he was granted refugee status, Reuters reported Thursday.
The Handbasket, an independent news outlet, broke the story after publishing a U.S. State Department cable detailing the new deportation program.
Under the supposed agreement, Rwanda would serve as a “Third Party Nation” receiving immigrants whom the U.S. couldn’t deport to their home countries.
Ameen was the first to be deported in this new agreement, but at least 10 more immigrants are expected to go

New details about the fatal helicopter-plane crash near DC’s Reagan Airport reveal the female pilot was repeatedly ignored warnings from her male co-pilot to turn away but she flew right into the passenger jet.
An American Airlines flight carrying approximately 64 souls collided with a Blackhawk helicopter near Washington D.C. Reagan National Airport (DCA) in late January.
All 64 passengers in the jet were killed.
The three pilots in the Blackhawk helicopter also died in the explosive crash.
A preliminary FAA report indicated that staffing at the DCA Air Traffic Control tower was “not normal” at the time of the helicopter-plane collision.
According to NBC News, at the time of the collision,

In Colorado Springs, early Sunday Morning, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officers swooped down on an "underground nightclub," seizing drugs, weapons, and at least 100 illegal aliens. It's unclear what an "underground nightclub" is, but it's a safe bet it didn't have a liquor license.
There were over 200 people in the club at the time of the raid.
More than 100 people reported to be in the country illegally were detained in a raid at a nightclub early Sunday morning, according to Drug Enforcement Administration officials.
The Rocky Mountain division of the DEA reported the multi-agency enforcement operation on X around 4 a.m.

Democrats seem to think the way to go after the Trump administration is to attack their moves regarding illegal aliens. But that's one of the areas where he has the most approval. Instead, it's Democrats attaching themselves to 80/20 issues on the 20 side, as they're doing in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia and the arrest of the judge in Wisconsin for allegedly helping an illegal alien evade ICE agents.
Now there's another case that's making the media rounds. You may have seen the headlines blaring about a two-year-old American citizen being deported. The judge in the case raised questions about "due process" --

With President Donald Trump making the deportation of illegal immigrants a priority on Day One, Democrats have been relentless in trying to undercut his policies on deportations by way of the courts as well as the court of public opinion.
In recent weeks, in particular, the left, their activist groups, and the mainstream media have all hammered Trump over the deportation of illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 member who was deported to his home country of El Salvador back in March.
Because Abrego Garcia has been incorrectly described as a "wrongly deported Maryland man," Democrats have made him their poster child for opposition to Trump's deportation policies.

President Trump attended the funeral of Pope Francis, who passed away last week at the age of 88. The Holy Father had been in ill health. Yet, the media is attacking the president for his choice of suit; supposedly, it was supposed to be dark or black. Whatever the case, the ‘fashion faux pas’ spread like a brushfire (via NYT):
President Trump, it seems, is fully committed to going his own way when it comes to international relations — even during the funeral of a pope.
On Saturday, as he joined other world leaders to pay his respects to Pope Francis,

I'm not really sure if Donald Trump is the luckiest man on earth, is blessed by Divine Providence, or is an unparalleled political genius. I suspect the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia demonstrates a combination of all three.
Think about this: Democratic political leaders, political strategists and social media influencers have made a cause célèbres of an alleged wife-beating, suspected human trafficking, illegal alien judicially-determined MS-13 gang member that the Trump administration deported back to his home country of El Salvador, but whom Democrats demand be returned to the United States.
Let that sink in.

They didn’t “make a mistake.”
They didn’t “misunderstand the law.”
They didn’t “exercise poor judgment.”
No—New Mexico Judge Joel M. Cano, Massachusetts Judge Shelley Richmond, and Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan made conscious, deliberate, and premeditated decisions to aid criminals, obstruct law enforcement, and desecrate the very system they were sworn to uphold.
In just a few days' time, these three black-robed offenders committed what can only be described as acts of judicial treason against the American people.
And make no mistake: holding them fully accountable isn’t merely an option—it’s an absolute necessity.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) just can’t help himself. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns about sexually explicit books being made available to kids in school libraries, he’s back to doing what he does best: deflecting and blaming Republicans. Weighing in on the Mahmoud v. Taylor Supreme Court case, Schiff absurdly claimed that it’s the GOP turning “LGBT or trans youth” into a political issue.
It’s the same tired playbook we’ve seen from the Left time and time again: Parents raise valid concerns about their children being exposed to sexually explicit material in public schools and libraries, and the response from Democrats is to smear them as bigots.

The typically euphemistic language of politics is increasingly being replaced by profanity as the midterms loom and Democrat candidates are dropping F-bombs and other expletives in their ads and appearances.
The trend is not limited to campaigning. Certain words such as “ass” and “pi***d,” previously unheard for decades in the stodgy Capitol, are making their appearance in speeches on the floors of Congress.
One lawmaker, Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett, has drawn extensive media coverage as she’s forged a reputation using the kind of language one expects to hear in the mean streets. [Video]
One lexicography expert says the trend is born out of frustration.

Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) claimed Friday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that Trump administration officials could be arrested for “interfering with a legal proceeding” or “kidnapping.”
Raskin said, “I regard it very much within the prism of what we’ve been dealing with over the last month, which is an intense assault on judicial independence. They have been disobeying federal court orders systematically. They have incurred criminal contempt findings in the courtroom of Judge Boasberg, a conservative Republican, a judge. They have been demanding the impeachment of judges who rule against the lawlessness of the Trump administration. There are now more than 90 preliminary injunctions and temporary restraining orders

The U.S. Constitution is a political masterpiece. The ideas of limited government enshrined therein, with its system of checks and balances, its federalist structure, and its Bill of Rights, is responsible for more freedom and prosperity, not just in America but worldwide, than any other document other than the Bible.
The Constitution only had two glaring flaws. The first was the reluctant tolerance of slavery, which was eventually corrected by the 13th Amendment (and a civil war). The second was a lack of restraint on the powers of the judiciary. There are mechanisms for the legislative and executive branches to check each other, but nothing with which to check the judiciary
