Why is Canada targeting Republican-led states?
President Trump officially imposed tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China on Saturday after they had ignored his threats.
Trump slapped the tariffs on the three countries under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
25% tariffs on all Mexico imports
25% tariffs on nearly all Canadian imports — 10% on Canadian energy resources
10% tariffs on all China imports
“Today, I have implemented a 25% Tariff on Imports from Mexico and Canada (10% on Canadian Energy), and a 10% additional Tariff on China.

This will play out like a scene in the first Crocodile Dundee movie: "That's not a knife, this is a knife!"

Well considering most states are conservative, seems to me Canada would be hurting themselves more than us.

Canada is bringing a rubber sex toy to a gun fight. President Trump has far more tools at his disposal, and far more power to use them than Castro Jr. could dream of.

Hey Canada, wouldn't it be easier to just stop the illegals and drugs entering the US through your country?

Trump's plan includes increasing tariffs by the amount of any retaliatory tariffs. Think about that Justin, and while doing so, please explain when you are leaving, and you said you resigned.

Odd that their former prime minster, Justina, is still driving their country in the ground. He resigned, right? What kind of a scam is he running? Is he pulling a George Costanza?

With the Canadian Dollar currently in freefall, I doubt their retaliation will go on for long. Even Canada's uber lefty Christie Freeland understands that much. Interesting that Trudie has been very quiet lately after announcing his intention to resign after parliament reconvenes.

So the Canadian Government esp the Mounties and Border Control agencies will NOT work to stop the fentanyl precursors and Chinese drug & human trafficking in through Vancouver???
Instead they will essentially Double Down and expand their damage to America? I have not thought it until now, but I Now start to put Canada in the same category as MEXICO and instead of Cartels drug lords, Canada has the Chinese Tongs in control! It too with a 3000 mile border with the US and sea coasts…

Canadian people have had enough of Trudie. When things get a little uncomfortable for them, they may just snatch his sorry arse out of his hidey hole and send him packing. He said he was going anyway.

Trudeou's mice are roaring. I think about Canada once every three or four years and then I move on with my daydreaming. Other than scenery, it is a very unimpressive country.

#7 says it succinctly.
It was a simple request of your neighbor.
The question would be who is getting rich off the illegal drug and immigration trade in Canada?
