This is interesting. President Trump has announced that David A. Warrington will now lead the Office of the White House Counsel, as well as “Asst to the President and Counsel to the President.” It would appear that President Trump is adjusting the legal framework within the office. Originally, President Trump announced William Joseph McGinley to serve as White House Counsel; however, he has now moved McGinley to be the legal counsel covering DOGE, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Warrington will now lead the office of White House Counsel:

fta The McGinley move makes a lot of sense. DOGE and the Office of Management and Budgets (OMB) are going to be joined at the hip. They are going to have to navigate the Impoundment Control Act, challenging the system that places limits on a president’s ability to unilaterally withhold funding. love it!!!

Don't you just love the way President Trump is one step ahead of the establishment elites....I don't understand his moves...but...I'm confident HE knows what HE's doing...so I smile and wish him continued success....I've got plenty of popcorn in my cupboard and I enjoy the Newsmax news each day.....I understand now why President Trump said he really didn't need a transition team from the White House to help his transition in 2025...of course not...HE's smarter than all the White House staffers.....

This is the theory of the Unitary Executive. According to the Constitution the entire executive branch is the responsibility of one elected chief executive, commander and magistrate. The independent deep state DoJ-FBI-CIA complex was invented after Watergate but is not the law. Our President Trump is a genius.

The Talk of “Preemptive Pardons” 8 replies

Anytime the professional leftists lose anything, they immediately become victims. Whether defeated in the battle of ideas (retreat to safe spaces), defeated in the field of pop culture, or even defeated linguistically through debate (words are violence). Whenever the professional left loses, they immediately become victims. It’s what they do. The professional political left, newest version from the Chicago spawn of Dohrn/Ayers, has been waging full combat Lawfare via a weaponized government for the past 16 years. However, Obama/Plouffe were defeated, “their kind” rose again and won the 2024 U.S. Presidential electionWhat we see in this “preemptive pardon” narrative, is a repeat of the victim narrative.

At last, Hunter Biden has his full and unconditional presidential pardon, covering all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed” between the tender ages of 44 and 54. Freshly sober and exculpated, young master Biden is now at liberty to pursue his promising artistic career. I join the readership of The Federalist in well-wishing this walking, talking malum prohibitum. There is no gainsaying that Hunter’s father, President Joe Biden, has for a change acted strictly within the confines of his constitutional authority. Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution gives the president plenary authority to “grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences

Current and former Fox News talent are calling bull on legacy media’s latest smear campaign to sink Pete Hegseth’s bid to lead the Pentagon. On Tuesday, NBC News dropped a malicious hit piece against the Army veteran and former “Fox and Friends Weekend” host, in which 10 allegedly former and current network employees supposedly claimed that Hegseth displayed signs of a drinking problem in the workplace. Curiously, none of the alleged anonymous sources referenced by authors Chloe Melas, Courtney Kube, and Sarah Fitzpatrick identified themselves, citing “fear of retaliation.”

Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., introduced legislation on Wednesday that would federally ban mutilating transgender procedures for children and punish so-called “physicians” who perform such procedures. The legislation would block doctors from being able to prescribe or administer puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, as well as perform mutilating transgender surgeries like mastectomies. The Safeguarding the Overall Protection of Minors (STOP) Act would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to place a minimum $100,000 fine on doctors who do not follow the law.

Authorities in Mexico dissolved two caravans of would-be illegal immigrants heading to the United States, just days after President-elect Donald Trump warned he would levy a 25 percent tariff on imports from the country. Migrant activists said this week that some were bused to cities in southern Mexico, and others were offered transit papers. Migrant rights activist Luis Garcia Villagran said the breaking-up of the two caravans appeared to be part of “an agreement between the president of Mexico and the president of the United States.” The first of the caravans started out from the southern Mexico city of Tapachula, near the border with Guatemala, on Nov. 5,

The landing teams from each of the cabinets will now begin to engage with their exiting counterparts. There were many articles written about the delays in signing the agreements. However, President Trump waited until he has his cabinet fully assembled before signing the first part that permits the landing teams to engage. Senior White House officials are reportedly considering issuing retired Gen. Mark Milley a pre-emptive pardon over fears that President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration will go after the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The potential pardon for Milley, who was the nation’s highest-ranking military officer for part of Trump’s first term, was reported by the Washington Post Thursday. Milley, 66, faced intense scrutiny on Capitol Hill during President Biden’s first year in office after journalist Bob Woodward revealed that the Pentagon official placed secret phone calls to a top Chinese official before the 2020 election and after the Jan. 6. 2021, riot at the US Capitol.

Obama is suddenly very concerned about what the party in power can do to rig elections and weaponize the government against perceived political enemies. What curious timing. President Joe Biden toured the National Museum of Slavery in Angola’s capital of Luanda on Tuesday, delivering a speech in which he described slavery as America’s “original sin” and claiming it still taints American public discourse. “The United States is founded on an idea, one embedded in our Declaration of Independence, that all men and women are created equal. It is abundantly clear today we have not lived up to that idea, but we have not fully walked away from it either,” Biden said. Biden said slavery was “cruel, brutal, dehumanizing,” an “original sin” that “haunted America and cast a long shadow ever since.”

There will be more fallout from this in the coming months, especially because Biden has angered so many people on his own side.
