Anytime the professional leftists lose anything, they immediately become victims. Whether defeated in the battle of ideas (retreat to safe spaces), defeated in the field of pop culture, or even defeated linguistically through debate (words are violence). Whenever the professional left loses, they immediately become victims. It’s what they do.
The professional political left, newest version from the Chicago spawn of Dohrn/Ayers, has been waging full combat Lawfare via a weaponized government for the past 16 years. However, Obama/Plouffe were defeated, “their kind” rose again and won the 2024 U.S. Presidential electionWhat we see in this “preemptive pardon” narrative, is a repeat of the victim narrative.

At last, Hunter Biden has his full and unconditional presidential pardon, covering all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed” between the tender ages of 44 and 54. Freshly sober and exculpated, young master Biden is now at liberty to pursue his promising artistic career. I join the readership of The Federalist in well-wishing this walking, talking malum prohibitum.
There is no gainsaying that Hunter’s father, President Joe Biden, has for a change acted strictly within the confines of his constitutional authority. Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution gives the president plenary authority to “grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences

Current and former Fox News talent are calling bull on legacy media’s latest smear campaign to sink Pete Hegseth’s bid to lead the Pentagon.
On Tuesday, NBC News dropped a malicious hit piece against the Army veteran and former “Fox and Friends Weekend” host, in which 10 allegedly former and current network employees supposedly claimed that Hegseth displayed signs of a drinking problem in the workplace. Curiously, none of the alleged anonymous sources referenced by authors Chloe Melas, Courtney Kube, and Sarah Fitzpatrick identified themselves, citing “fear of retaliation.”

Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., introduced legislation on Wednesday that would federally ban mutilating transgender procedures for children and punish so-called “physicians” who perform such procedures.
The legislation would block doctors from being able to prescribe or administer puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, as well as perform mutilating transgender surgeries like mastectomies.
The Safeguarding the Overall Protection of Minors (STOP) Act would allow the Department of Health and Human Services to place a minimum $100,000 fine on doctors who do not follow the law.

Authorities in Mexico dissolved two caravans of would-be illegal immigrants heading to the United States, just days after President-elect Donald Trump warned he would levy a 25 percent tariff on imports from the country.
Migrant activists said this week that some were bused to cities in southern Mexico, and others were offered transit papers. Migrant rights activist Luis Garcia Villagran said the breaking-up of the two caravans appeared to be part of “an agreement between the president of Mexico and the president of the United States.”
The first of the caravans started out from the southern Mexico city of Tapachula, near the border with Guatemala, on Nov. 5,

This is interesting. President Trump has announced that David A. Warrington will now lead the Office of the White House Counsel, as well as “Asst to the President and Counsel to the President.” It would appear that President Trump is adjusting the legal framework within the office.
Originally, President Trump announced William Joseph McGinley to serve as White House Counsel; however, he has now moved McGinley to be the legal counsel covering DOGE, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. Warrington will now lead the office of White House Counsel:

The CEO of insurance company UnitedHealthcare’s insurance unit, Brian Thompson, was shot and killed by a masked gunman in what appears to be a targeted attack in New York City, unnamed officials said in media reports on Wednesday.
UnitedHealthcare did not immediately respond to an Epoch Times request for comment. The health giant also has not issued a statement on reports of Thompson’s death.
The company was hosting its investor day on Wednesday, which was closed before time due to “a very serious medical situation” with one of its team members,

President Joe Biden’s claims about his son being selectively prosecuted were unfounded, special counsel David Weiss’s office said in new filings on Dec. 2.
“There has never been any evidence of vindictive or selective prosecution in this case,” Weiss and other federal prosecutors told a federal judge in Delaware.
In another filing, lodged in federal court in California, they added, “There was none and never has been any evidence of vindictive or selective prosecution in this case.”

Mexico’s president said this week that migrant caravans are no longer heading to the United States, as she responded to a renewed tariff threat issued by President-elect Donald Trump.
In a letter that she sent to Trump that was emailed to The Epoch Times by the Mexican Embassy in the United States on Tuesday, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum wrote that “migrant caravans [will] no longer arrive at the border,” adding that Mexico has taken efforts to curb the flow of drugs such as fentanyl.

The President Trump transition team has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to start the process of transferring control of the federal government. The landing teams from each of the cabinets will now begin to engage with their exiting counterparts.
There were many articles written about the delays in signing the agreements. However, President Trump waited until he has his cabinet fully assembled before signing the first part that permits the landing teams to engage. The second part with government provided offices and technology is NOT being accepted.
President Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, announced the Trump transition team has refused to sign an MOU

There are a lot of interesting discussions and interviews amid the political chatter today. It’s often difficult to filter which ones actually matter in the big picture. This is one of those interviews’ worth watching.
Incoming National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, brother-in-law to nominated U.S. Surgeon General Janette Nesheiwat and husband to former DNI policy chief Julia Nesheiwat, appears on Fox News to discuss his priorities for the national security system under President Donald Trump.
Within the interview Waltz makes sure the collective NATO “west” get the unity message about U.S-Ukraine policy: “Jake Sullivan and I have had discussions, we’ve met,” Waltz says
