Data: Migration Issues Flipped Swing Voters

Original Article

The damage done by President Joe Biden’s migration policy pushed a large share of undecided swing voters to support Donald Trump during the last week of the 2024 campaign, according to a report by BluePrint2024, a pro-Democrat polling firm. The polling data helps to explain why Democrats are moving closer to blaming Biden and his pro-migration border chief — Alejandro Mayorkas — for their political disaster. “We destroyed ourselves on the immigration issue in ways that were entirely predictable and entirely manageable,” a Democratic senator told the Hill for a November 29 report.

They may have chosen a favorite issue but the underlying factor is that Kamala is not presidential material.

One has to be really dumb to think that an invasion of that magnitude would be a vote getter.

I can't forget the sight of Puddles sitting at the little table in the fake Oval Office with a 2 foot high stack of EO's he would be signing to tear down everything President Trump had done for this country. On the first day. And did Kamala just start guffawing when she started the presidential campaign? Was it her nerves? I don't remember her doing anything other than standing behind him with a smirk on her face the whole time she was vice president. What a nightmare time for this country but we made it through.

One Democratic Senator says this and the media takes it as the whole of the Democrats. Certainly immigration was a great part of their defeat, but they had a lousy candidate, and they had 4 years of the worst mess this country has ever seen .

When Trump first announced his run for President, I knew almost nothing about him. I had never seen his TV show, had 'sort of' heard of him as some sort of big real estate guy in NYC. Not being a fan of NYC, this meant nearly nothing to me. BUT......when I heard his "close the border, build a wall" talk I told my wife, "If he really means that, he has my vote, regardless of anything else." And, the more I learned about Trump, the more I support him. But closing the border and building the wall was the first and most important issue for me. And it seems so for many other Americans.

Yep, democrats, always looking for someone to blame, NOT their policies..and the border, although important, I don't think was the deciding factor...it was ALL their liberal polices bunched together...we the people were just tired of all the back-biting, 'I want it so you have to do it' policies they kept putting forth..and we kicked them to the curb...and the keening, wailing, and nashing of teeth is a beautiful sound to hear...

"migration"? They misspelled "Illegal Immigration". But I agree with the other posters..... the flood of Illegals is prominent among many deliberately disastrous policies that the 'Rats forced on America..... and enough people said "We've Had Enough of THIS!"

Americans are increasingly being pulled to the southern United States, with five states in particular attracting the most transplants. Florida and Texas had the most people move within their borders in 2023, according to a new migration survey from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Florida saw a net inflow of 372,870 people last year, while 315,301 went to Texas, according to the report, which analyzed US Census data. North Carolina welcomed 126,712 new residents in 2023, and has been established previously as another fast-growing state. Home to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina gained 91,853 more people last year.

New York—Nearly a month after a devastating election loss that exposed cracks in the very foundation of their party, Democrats remain deeply divided over the extent of their political problem — or even if they have one. A number of Democratic leaders are downplaying the strength of Donald Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris as the inevitable result of an inflation-fueled anti-incumbent backlash that shaped elections worldwide. But others are convinced that the Democratic Party is facing an acute crisis that requires an urgent overhaul of its brand, message and economic policies. Trump swept every battleground state on Nov. 5, becoming the first Republican candidate to

As we reported, President Joe Biden pardoned First Son Hunter Sunday night and basically absolved him of all crimes committed between “January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024,” in effect letting him not only get off scot-free for the gun charges he was convicted of and the tax evasion charges he pleaded guilty to but any shady international deals he allegedly illicitly profited from with China and Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. The move came after Hunter’s lawyers released a 52-page public statement Sunday that read like a “Dear Dad, please help me out, I screwed up” letter. Now, President-elect Donald Trump is weighing in, and he’s not impressed.

Hunter released a statement of his own - in which he does not directly mention his father - after the decision came down, credited to his full name, 'Robert Hunter Biden.'

Democrats are trying to figure out how they lost massive numbers of working class voters in historically blue areas across the country — but the evidence shows that the party simply left them behind. USA Today interviewed multiple former Democrats in the liberal enclave of Massachusetts who cast their votes for President-elect Donald Trump in the recent election, and their main reason was the economy. Mark Callahan, a 67-year-old from Lynn, a suburb of Boston, voted Democrat in nearly every presidential election prior to this year. Now, he said he hopes that Trump will “make a change.” “Everything was too expensive. What we had wasn’t working,” Callahan told the outlet.

Romanians vote in a parliamentary election on Sunday in which the far right is expected to gain from uncertainty over whether the shock result in a presidential election will stand. Days after far-right politician Calin Georgescu won most votes in the presidential election first round, an opinion poll this week showed the hard-right Alliance for Uniting Romanians (AUR) had a narrow lead over the governing Social Democrats. Gains by far-right groupings in Sunday's parliamentary vote after a campaign dominated by voters' concerns over budget problems and the cost of living could upend Romania's pro-Western orientation and undermine support for Ukraine, political analysts said.
