How the Democrats Lost Their Base—and
Knew It All Along

It’s one thing to lose an election; it’s another to lose your identity. The Democratic Party in 2024 faced both these crises, culminating in Kamala Harris’s defeat to Donald Trump. But the real story isn’t just the loss itself—it’s the timeline. The Democrats didn’t simply wake up to a red wave on election night. They saw it coming, months—if not years—before the polls closed. The warning signs were blaring, yet their response was tepid, constrained by internal contradictions and a miscalculation of their own base’s discontent. For decades, Democrats relied on their coalition of diverse, working-class, and young voters to carry elections. However,

The Democrats did not lose their base. Their base is hard core liberals who comprise about 1/3 of the U.S. population, the strongly conservative base is about the same. They lost constituents in the middle third of the country who couldn't stomach the extreme wokeness.

Democrats' character flaws are demonstrated most vividly - by Democrats - in the wake of election losses. Even top campaign managers attempt to shift blame, make excuses and position themselves for another gig. Jen O'Malley Dillon, Stef Cutter et al are now claiming THEY were perfect (of course) but didn't have enough time. It's an odd claim considering they burnt through $1B in a failed effort. They inch up close to admitting Harris was a poor choice. Their interviews and quotes also reveal what we often point out - internal polls and public polls are very different (even though they shouldn't be) and the public polls are used to manipulate the public's tendency to join the crowd.

They knew their internal polling just like Trump knew his. "They weren’t fighting to win; they were fighting to mitigate a looming loss." They raised all that money knowing they were losing. They also knew they'd lose no matter how much money they spent or how much effort they put into it. It has been said that biden would have lost to Trump's 400 electoral college votes. Still believe kamala got 70+ million votes? I don't.

Obie, the dim party and its platform are well past their sell-by dates. And the msm helped dig their political grave for them. It's the same talking points every election these days - kill the unborn, more social programs, pro illegal immigration, more government goodies, hate Israel, hate Trump, hate America as founded, wokeness, trannyism, climate change, and lawfare. Just wondering what this radicalized dim party will morph into comes the next election.

What they did NOT know is that the cheating would be practically eliminated from the 2024 election. They took 2020 and the resulting J6 scam as a map for their continued future infestation of the country. WTP said "No!"

The thing I love most about the left is that they will refuse the lessons. The only approach they’ll consider is doubling down, even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

The Dems attempted to replace their base by importing a permanent underclass in the wide open for the world to see. The only reason it didn't work is that simultaneously Donald J Trump chased away the Republican GOPe cheap labor neocons, leaving a beautiful big void that the working class dem transplants filled. Like nobody's ever seen before. This left the Dems as the pahty of elite liberals, legacy mediums, and neocon castoffs, whom they absorbed beyond our wildest dreams. Trump is building the Republican pahty on the back of the working class, the old dem base they didn't want anymore. God bless him and protect him.

The successful launch of India’s first long-range hypersonic missile and the first test of the 3,500km K-4 nuclear-capable ballistic missile from a submarine have put the spotlight on the country’s growing prowess in indigenously developing advanced weapon systems to strengthen the military’s capabilities. This includes achievements ranging from successfully testing the second phase of India’s ballistic missile defence system to developing the Agni-5 missile with multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle (MIRV) technology, and from the first anti-radiation missile Rudram to the supersonic missile-assisted release of torpedo (SMART) system to target submarines at long ranges, officials aware of the matter said on Thursday.

BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard have been sued by Texas and 10 other Republican-led states, which said the large asset managers violated antitrust law through climate activism that resulted in reduced coal production and boosted energy prices. Wednesday’s complaint filed in the federal court in Tyler, Texas, is among the highest profile lawsuits targeting efforts to promote environmental, social and governance goals, or ESG. The defendants were accused of exploiting their market power and involvement in climate advocacy groups to pressure coal companies to slash output and reduce carbon emissions from coal by more than 50% by 2030, driving up consumers’ utility bills.

French company TotalEnergies has halted development of its planned offshore wind farm off the coast of New York following the victory of president-elect Donald Trump, who has vowed to kill such projects on day one of his second term. “In offshore wind, I decided to put the project on pause, because all the offshore wind projects are in Democratic states . . . we’ll see better in four years,” TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanne said at an energy industry conference in London on Tuesday, according to Bloomberg News. “The advantage is that it’s only for four years.” The chief executive indicates that the energy firm could potentially revive

Okay, yes — Kamala Harris was totally bombed (on something, whether it be drink or pills) when she delivered her Thanksgiving valediction yesterday, right? We can all admit that? You “have the same power [intoxicated pause] that you did before November 5” to recognize that, right? Yes, it’s embarrassing — the only thing harder to conceive from a professional messaging operation than the video is the DNC staffer who said, “That’s gold, let’s roll with it.” (Imagine the outtakes.) But the hour before vacation is late, and I prefer mercy.

A Chinese commercial ship is suspected of deliberately dragging its anchor to cut undersea cables that connect countries over the internet, The Wall Street Journal reports. International investigators reportedly believe the crew aboard Yi Peng 3, a bulk carrier full of Russian fertilizer, dragged its anchor for more than 100 miles across the Baltic seabed, damaging the cables that run across it. Two different internet links — one between Sweden’s Gotland Island and Lithuania, and another between Finland and Germany — stopped working earlier this month, prompting the investigation by authorities from all four countries and other nations, according to the Journal.

One of the best things President-elect Trump has initiated is the Department of Government Efficiency - the DOGE. Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are preparing to let the DOGE off the leash, and if a recent X post from Elon is any indication, the DOGE may be taking a bite out of Senator Elizabeth Warren's brainchild, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB.) That seems a good idea; the federal government is massively feather-bedded, and we got along just fine without the CFPB until 2011; it seems we could get along without it again. And if anyone asks why, I could provide 36 trillion reasons. In other words, we're broke,

We've been hearing for years now how Donald Trump and his supporters are violent, white supremacist "dangers to democracy." Yet it was the former and future president who took a bullet to the ear in a barely failed assassination attempt in July, followed by a second shooter camped out on his golf course waiting to kill him in September. Now, as the president-elect puts forth names for his Cabinet, those people and their families are being targeted with death threats. Disgusting. The Trump-Vance Transition Team described what's been happening in a Wednesday morning email:

Cable news network MSNBC claims it was blindsided to learn that a non-profit founded by longtime on-air personality the Rev. Al Sharpton received half a million dollars from Kamala Harris' campaign just before he interviewed her. The donations that flowed in just before the New York activist's conversation with Harris have brought up questions about the news outlet's credibility. The National Action Network, a civil rights non-profit that was founded by Sharpton in 1991, received $500,000 from the Harris campaign just weeks before the MSNBC host conducted a highly-anticipated sit-down with the Democrat. Campaign finance records from the 60-year-old's campaign reveal that two separate payments went to National Action Network.

President-elect Donald J. Trump is gearing up to go nuclear on the FBI and Justice Department, and who can blame him? After years of relentless targeting, capped off with a federal raid on his home in a blatant attempt to torpedo his 2024 campaign, Trump emerged victorious. Now it’s his turn to strike back. The gloves are off, and the days of tolerating the FBI’s overreach are over. Trump reportedly plans to bypass the FBI’s compromised background checks altogether, issuing security clearances to his appointees on his own authority. This scorched-earth approach sends a clear message: the Biden DOJ’s partisan games are finished.

It protects our children and grandchildren in private spaces where they are most vulnerable.”

An Ontario town has been fined $10,000 and its officials ordered to complete mandatory “human rights” training after it refused to celebrate Pride Month. Emo is a township of about 1,300 people located in the far west of Ontario, along the border with Minnesota. In a decision handed down last week, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ruled that Emo, its mayor and two of its councillors had violated the Ontario Human Rights Code by refusing to proclaim June as “Pride Month.” The town was also cited for failing to fly “an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,” despite the fact that they don’t have an official flag pole.
