There is currently a major manhunt underway by US Marshals for Nathan Wade, the former Fulton County investigator and DA Fani Willis’s lover.
Jesse Watters broke the news Thursday evening on FOX News.
Jesse Watters: Lover boy, Nathan Wade is missing. The House Judiciary Committee, which is investigating Georgia DA Fannie Willis, needs Wade to testify at a hearing tomorrow on their love affair. But no one can find the guy. They’re trying to serve him, but he’s flown the coop, and now the US marshals are in a manhunt to track him down. Have they checked the conduct?

I got a couple of ideas.
Have some sheriff pull over Fani's daughter. He'll be there with Fani within the hour.
Or call his law office saying you got hit by a company truck. This ambulance chaser will be in touch with you in minutes.

As Rush used to say 'Folks, you just can't make this stuff up.'
Will he get 4 months in prison for ignoring a subpoena?

Never underestimate the willingness and ability of Fani and Wade to lie. Any testimony given by either will be farther than "nothing could be farther from the truth". Get ready for memory lapses.

Since Fani pays cash for everything (according to her past court testimony), she made sure Wade had plenty of cash to dissappear.

GWP often uses hyperbolic headlines to misrepresent the facts of its articles. I'm no fan of Wade and was disappointed to see that he's essentially ducking the service of a Congressional subpoena, not a criminal act. "Manhunt" is commonly defied as an intense search for a criminal or for one credibly accused of criminal behavior. The recipient of a duly issued and valid congressional subpoena has a legal obligation to comply, absent a valid and overriding privilege or other legal justification. Ducking the service of a subpoena is not inherently criminal; people are allowed to "absent" themselves or to have "flown the coop", as the article stated, whether taking the family to Disney Land, hiding under a rock shelter in the Wind River Range, or camping out in your friend-with-benefit's underwear drawer. Ignoring a subpoena once served, can be grounds for Contempt of Congress, which carries some criminal liability; however, that requires the committee issuing the subpoena to issue a citation of contempt, on which Congress may vote. If passed, Congress requests the Executive Branch (Justice Dept) to pursue prosecution. As if Garland was inclined to go after one of his proxies.

This is sooooo funny...have the marshals tried fanny's apartment?...he's hiding under the bed or in the closet...did fanny really think she could just get away with all this trauma?....it's like kabuki theatre at it's finest....he must be very effective as a lover...because he's still in the game...even showed up with fanny when her daughter was stopped by the police....

I have a dear, close relative who is a U.S. Marshal. He is conservative and a man of great integrity. He also is high in the ranks. I'm as cynical (in contact with reality) as anyone around. I believe the Marshals are the last remnant of trustworthy government, doing very dangerous work such as capturing cartel and organized crime capos. I'd love to see them arresting the criminals in the FBI and CIA and...

#19 is correct. GP, especially Jim Hoft, publishes articles of interesting subjects, but the writing is often clumsy, biased, or as #19 put it, hyperbolic. A few years ago, I wrote to them to correct Victoria Taft, who had written that Kitsap County, Washington, is southwest of Seattle. That is incorrect. Kitsap is west of Seattle and spans from south to far north of Seattle.
