This brings this year’s total number of PRC nationals apprehended at the border to 35,300. Nancy Grace has revealed a catalogue of evidence in the case of Pennsylvania teacher Ellen Greenberg whose death was controversially ruled a suicide after she suffered 20 stab wounds. The case was catapulted even further into the spotlight recently when Josh Shapiro emerged as a potential running mate for Kamala Harris. As the state's Attorney General Shapiro had doubled down on the suicide ruling and blocked an attempt by Ellen's family to have the case reinvestigated.

Conservative scholar and historian Victor Davis Hanson recently spoke to podcaster Tony Kinnett and offered some of his sober analysis on the introduction of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to the 2024 race. Law enforcement officials in Florida are investigating possible criminal election fraud after a fake voter guideline was released ahead of the state’s primary election. The fake voter guide features candidates that are not endorsed by the St. John’s County Republican Party and is described by St. John’s County GOP Chairman Denver Cook as being “a very close knockoff,” according to WOKV News.In response to the fake voter guide, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will reportedly press charges against the person responsible, Cook said, noting that the agency was “aware” of the fraudulent voter guide, according to the outlet.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, has reportedly hacked Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign. Politico began receiving internal campaign documents from the campaign late last month from an anonymous AOL email account that used the name “Robert.” The emails contained internal communications from a top Trump campaign official that included research the campaign did on Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and “potential vulnerabilities” that he may have. The research dossier was a preliminary version of the file that the campaign used to vet Vance, something that is standard practice in presidential campaigns.

A former Illinois public school food service director has been sentenced to nine years in prison for pulling off a $1.5 million chicken wing heist, prosecutors said. Vera Liddell worked for Harvey School District 152, an “impoverished” Chicago-area district, for over a decade until she was accused of stealing the food she was tasked with providing to children in January 2023, WGN reported. Court records obtained by the outlet accused the 66-year-old of placing orders for more than 11,000 cases of chicken wings from the school district’s food provider, picking them up in a district van, and not delivering them to children who were remote-learning at the time.

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign said Saturday that some of its internal communications had been hacked. The acknowledgment came after POLITICO began receiving emails from an anonymous account with documents from inside Trump’s operation. The campaign blamed “foreign sources hostile to the United States,” citing a Microsoft report on Friday that Iranian hackers “sent a spear phishing email in June to a high-ranking official on a presidential campaign.” Microsoft did not identify the campaign targeted by the email and declined to comment Saturday. The pilot of the plane that 'fell out of the sky' in Brazil killing all 62 people on board has been identified as a 35-year-old with ten years of experience. Captain Danilo Santos Romano was named today as the first victim of the horror crash in the city of Vinhedo on Friday, local news has reported. Mr Romano from Sao Paulo worked as a pilot for more than a decade and joined Voepass Airlines in 2022, his LinkedIn profile shows. Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) “misspoke” when claiming he carried weapons “in war,” the Harris campaign claimed Friday night after struggling to move past four difficult days of escalating stolen valor controversies. Walz has suggested on multiple occasions that he carried weapons into war — including in a video shared by the Harris campaign — despite having never served in a combat. “We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Walz said in a 2018 video advocating gun control. The $3.8 trillion that Democrats in Congress authorized for pandemic relief ($2 trillion was passed during the Trump administration) contained $800 billion for state and local governments. Admittedly, the states had some flexibility in how they spent their cut. Some states used the money to shore up their employee pension programs. While not specifically authorized in the enabling legislation, given the broad authority granted to states to spend the money, no one is likely to challenge it. How about a governor spending $4.3 million to cover parking costs for state employees "and visitors"? Or $1 million on a feasibility study for paid family leave?
