I saw multiple people tweeting that a video released by Yale Law Professor Jed Rubenfeld was a must watch on the basics and potential constitutional problems of the Trump ‘hush money’ trial guilty verdict. They were right. I know nothing about Rubenfeld, but he doesn’t come across as partisan on either side. And a lot of his arguments are consistent with the arguments we made in our Telegraph Op-Ed (though he makes them better, but in fairness, we were under a 650 word limit).

During the RedState liveblog of the first 2024 presidential debate, some of my colleagues predicted that it was only a matter of time before the same media folks yada yadaing about "cheap fakes" as it relates to video clips of an incoherent Joe Biden would do a complete reversal post-debate and perhaps would even suggest Biden withdraw as the nominee. Sure enough, that is exactly what happened. Chip Roy (R-TX) filed a resolution calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to use her powers under the 25th Amendment to convene the Cabinet and declare President Joe Biden unfit to serve.
