The aunt of ex-Democratic Hawaiian Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was stabbed multiple times and beaten with a hammer during a fight with her protege in Samoa last month, according to a report.
Dr. Caroline Sinaviana-Gabbard, 78, was found dead on May 25 inside award-winning Samoan playwright Papalii Sia Figiel’s home in Vaivase-Uta, according to Spectrum News.
The two women reportedly were alone inside Figiel’s home which doubles as the community’s local theater named GaluMoana Theater, when the deadly confrontation took place.
Sinaviana-Gabbard is believed to have been Figiel’s mentor.

Chief Justice John Roberts on Thursday declined an invitation to meet with Democratic senators to talk about Supreme Court ethics and the controversy over flags that flew outside homes owned by Justice Samuel Alito.
Roberts’ response came in a letter to the senators a day after Alito separately wrote them and House members to reject their demands that he recuse himself from major Supreme Court cases involving former President Donald Trump and the Jan. 6 rioters because of the flags, which are like those carried by rioters at the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

The people of Israel are peace-loving. They do not eagerly seek to join battles, they do not desire to destroy and kill. Even so, they once again find themselves forced to defend their homeland, their faith, and their right to live in peace. Perturbingly, they are besieged by those who deny their right to exist. Terrorist organizations, such as Hamas and ISIS, in contrast, appear to be driven by aggression, at times even a lust for violence, believed by many to be divinely sanctioned.
At this time, however, Israelis seem to be alone in their task, and continually faced with obstacles their so-called allies place in the way of swift victory.
Some years ago, I was trying a denaturalization case of someone who aided the Nazis. As an aside, the judge mentioned that his dad had been distraught upon hearing of the Hitler-Stalin pact because he knew it meant there would be a world war. I felt much the same upon reading of the verdict in the New York case against President Trump. There have been a number of fine analyses of the case itself, and I have chosen one which I discuss below for its clarity, but I’m concentrating today on the aftermath of this ill-conceived political hit job.

Trump addressed attendees at this convention, which will conclude with the nomination of their candidate for president. One thing is for sure: whoever the libertarians will nominate won’t win the 2024 election. MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The man who shot and killed a Minneapolis police officer this week was a convicted felon who was banned from possessing firearms. Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed, 35, was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office on Saturday. Mohamed died from multiple gunshot wounds Thursday night outside an apartment complex on Blaisdell Avenue South.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has not identified Mohamed as the shooter. However, police have previously said the suspect died at the scene shortly after ambushing and killing Minneapolis Police Officer Jamal Mitchell in the street. Multiple law enforcement sources have also identified Mohamed
