The Truth About Israel

Many years ago, I worked for Virgin Atlantic airline and was fortunate to be awarded a free fam pass on El Al airlines to Israel. I ended up trading the ticket away to another employee but I always regretted not taking this opportunity to visit the Holy Land because of my cowardice. At the time, it seemed like every week there would be a bus blown up or an explosion in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv and I wondered how any one could live in such a turbulent environment. I grew up in a poor tenement in Spanish Harlem,

Here, we are reminded that many, if not most, protesters, are from privileged backgrounds, as they were since the Sixties. Because of the emptiness of their stress-free lives, these children of the liberal bourgeoisie glom on to trendy causes to give meaning to their useless existence.

"Like the United States, Israel does not start wars." Keep on believing that, Alicia. Our CIA has started more wars than most other countries have and the country in which we meddled usually ended up worse than before. In earlier times, we broke every treaty with the Indians before the ink was dry and massacred entire tribes just to take over their land and resources.

This disappearing of the truth by the media is not unexpected. They have to reset the narrative. Even after the heinous acts that were perpetrated on innocent civilians, the left will come out to white wash the perpetrators. What is shocking is that so many people trying to bury the truth are Jewish. How does that even compute? Hamas attacked civilians, and families with babies and toddlers. Old people were viciously murdered. Young women were raped so many times their pelvises were broken. That is torture of the worst kind. Babies were killed in front of their parents and parents were killed in front of their children. How can anyone justify such evil? Hamas was not attacking the military they specifically targeted civilians. Only barbarians stoop so low. Anyone trying to justify this carnage or play it down is just as evil as those who perpetrated this genocide. There is not much difference in those who do these travesties than those who justify their actions. Both are reprehensible human beings unworthy to draw breath. There is no excuse for this carnage. There is no extenuating circumstances that makes it acceptable. These were crimes against humanity and if the world had any courage nations would come together to convene a Nuremberg like court to punish these evil acts and remind the rest of the evil doers that they will be brought to Justice.

The hatred for Jews is nothing more than spiritual warfare. Hitler and Hamas and rich brats at Columbia are influenced by real demons, who have always hated the Jewish people. They have hated all the men that were chosen by God for a special task, because they followed Him. Noah, Abraham, King David....

To those who believe that the US has started more wars than other nations, while I despise the CIA and the State Dept's lust for meddling into other nations and war, that is demonstrably not true. We are only a couple of hundred years old. Many nations, many long disappeared, have waged wars of conquest, China and Russia being in the top three. Name one nation that fought a WW and then spent millions of dollars rebuilding their defeated nation into a modern democracy. Hint: USA

There is truth to the point #2 made. To build on it, always remember the family bloodline that benefits handsomely from war and is historically known for financing both sides of war - the House of Rothchild. They financed both sides of both world wars and many others. We are their debt slaves. But the second part of the quote in #2's comment I believe to be true. Israel remains the last blessed nation on the planet.

Do leftists have no shame? On the one hand they call for outright genocide of Israelis reminiscent of the Third Reich yet, simultaneously denounce Donald Trump as, "Adolph Hitler" and with the "MAGA Republicans" as "Nazis." Excuse me? The irony, hypocrisy, and illogic of the hard-left intelligentsia is on full display for us here... Breaking down the postulates of the pencil-necked, pony-tailed, pointy-heads: 1) Donald Trump is "Hitler" (who annihilated 99% the European Continent's Jewish population) 2) MAGA Republicans are "Nazis" (who, through blind loyalty, did the bidding of Party and Fuhrer via anti-Semitic attacks) 3) If the above things are true, then the Intelligentsia would be changing Political Parties and lining up for red MAGA hats. #6. You might want to read more, as there is little basis in fact for what you said. For example, the head of the Rothchilde family fled France, joined the French military in exile, earned the French equivalent of the Medal of Honor in combat, all while his wife was captured and died in a concentration camp and his daughter was a war refugee. It’s a big family with lots of branches, some good, some bad, but hardly the boogeyman people like to claim. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippe_de_Rothschild

I don’t know if this is actual anti-semitism that’s always been there and now is rearing its ugly head, or just idiocy by liberals, or both. Israel is a peaceful nation that only goes to war whenever her Arab neighbors decide to attack her. The Arabs want to wipe Israel off the earth. Liberals claim to support women’s rights. What other group of people in the world is even close to being as misogynist as Muslims are? Do any of these people supporting Hamas terrorism even know what it’s like to be a woman in a Muslim country?

#14 your link starts off with a claim that the Rothchilds got their peerage unethically and from the Holy Roman Empire. No, the first Baron earned it by service to England and then another earned a second peerage from Austria. It then just gets silly. I don’t doubt there are plenty of scum and villains in their family, just like everyone else’s. Plus it’s banking, which is a dirty business generally. Go look at what a scum JP Morgan was. Rotten drunk and Nazi collaborating bank. But the rest? It’s silliness. Big rich families have big rich scandals. Same as us, just bigger.

Russian missiles pounded power facilities in central and western Ukraine on Saturday, increasing pressure on the ailing energy system as the country faces a shortage of air defences despite a breakthrough in U.S. military aid. The air strike, carried out with long-range missiles, including cruise missiles fired by Russian strategic bombers based in the Arctic Circle, was the fourth large-scale aerial assault targeting the power system since March 22.President Volodymyr Zelenskiy repeated a plea to partners for defensive missiles, notably the Patriot system. He said the targets included electricity and gas transit facilities, in particular those important for gas supply to the European Union,

Trump probably won in 2020, so he should have little difficulty winning in 2024. However, will he be certified, or will the honor go to Joe, Michelle, or Pretty Boy? The problem here is the massive ballot harvesting schemes used by Democrats. Let me be clear: Most Democrats do not believe they are cheating: They are simply “empowering.” In their minds, helping people to vote is a public service, even if it requires obtaining, completing, correcting, and transporting the ballots on the voter’s behalf. Democrats did that openly in Wisconsin during the 2020 election. In no fewer than 206 Madison City parks, Democrats held “Democracy in the Park” events,

From New York to California, students protesting the Israel-Hamas war slept in tents at college campuses, as some universities moved to shut down encampments and arrested dozens of demonstrators after reports of antisemitic activity. With the death toll mounting in the war in Gaza, protesters nationwide are demanding schools cut financial ties to Israel and divest from companies they say enable the conflict. Some Jewish students say the protests have veered into antisemitism and made them afraid to set foot on campus. At Columbia University in New York City, where early protests sparked pro-Palestinian demonstrations across the country, students and administrators have engaged in negotiations,

We might start by returning to energy independence. The climate would not be hurt one bit: The US has plenty of oil under the ground; we can extract it more cleanly than anyone. Instead, we are paying exorbitant prices to, say, Russia for oil that is far dirtier, while the Chinese Communist Party are opening two new coal plants a week. The result, in terms of clean air, is therefore currently either net-zero or, thanks to "protecting" the planet from America's clean oil, actually down. Additionally, the US outlay for buying overpriced foreign oil and gas for immediate domestic use has simply served to finance both Russia's war on Ukraine,

The United States, France, Germany, Russia and Argentina, who had dual nationals taken hostage, did not try to bomb Hamas infrastructure and places where Hamas hid. Instead, they let Israel do it and then accused Israel of destroying the Gaza Strip. Rather than putting any pressure on Qatar and demonstrating in front of Qatari-owned hotels in France, the United States and elsewhere in Europe, the families of the hostages have been putting pressure on the Israeli government, thereby doing exactly what Hamas would presumably like them to do.
