War With Iran?

Iran reportedly is considering an attack on Israel that would widen the war in the Middle East. This is from the Wall Street Journal: Israel is preparing for a direct attack from Iran on southern or northern Israel as soon as Friday or Saturday, according to a person familiar with the matter. A person briefed by the Iranian leadership, however, said that while plans to attack are being discussed, no final decision has been made. *** Earlier this week, U.S. intelligence reports showed that an attack on Israeli assets by Iran or its proxies could be imminent

If that happens, Joe will put a hold on the November elections. I guess they decided it was too soon for another pandemic, so we will have a war instead. Imagine their excitement at holding up the November elections.

Our Potato in Chief is capable of realizing (however dimly) that "war-time presidents" usually get a boost in popularity in the face of external threats. Even George Bush saw a sudden rise in his approval rating after the planes flew into the towers. An undeserved increase in popularity, along with a welcome distraction from the border, inflation, and his own corruption. What's not to like?

FTA: "Ayatollah Khamenei is said to be “concerned a direct attack could backfire with the projectiles being intercepted and Israel responding with a massive retaliation on Iran’s strategic infrastructure.” Yes, this is a very real possibility. Iran could lose a LOT more than Israel in this sort of an exchange. And it the Persians want to play nukes.....they can lose even BIGGER.

If we get dragged in, it would be an easy win if we had the will. Problem is, we dont and haven't since WW2. Its all about making war last forever and spending billions on defense toys that disappear in an instant and then you have nothing to show for it. But it still has to be paid for.

The Arabs boast and brag. We will see. I suspect that whatever they actually do, they will get 10 fold in return. Of course the Arabs will whine about an "unbalanced response" just like they have with Gaza. This is a war. The Arabs started it. They thought they could act without cost. They have been massively wrong. Part of the scale of Israel's retribution is that Netanyahu knew he could not count on the US with Biden as President, so Israel had to go all in. If Iran attacks Israel, the same thinking will apply, that the US is useless as an ally with dems and Biden in charge. Israel must react to decisively prove the point. I also suspect that the other power players in the world will bluster and pontificate but they don't want a big war that no one can win and the Arabs are no longer worth getting involved to an extreme. Further, a lot of the other Arab states don't like Iran. The other Arab states may not say it but a big takedown of Iran would not cause too many tears to be shed. Behinds the scenes, a crippled Iran might be seen as a good thing.

Can the WHO organization be far behind in helping out FJB/Demonrats? May not need to cancel the elections. Lockdowns require more mail in ballots. Re: war with Iran. Will Russia use Iran as a proxy versus US as payback for our use of Ukraine against them?

Three thousand years ago, Leonidas, the leader of the 300 Spartans who opposed Xerxes, the Persian king, with 100,000 to 200,000 troops. Xerxes sent a messenger to tell the Spartans to lay down their arms. Leonidas said, "Molon labe". Literally, "come and take them" This has echoed down history for 3,000 years. Even today, patriots quote Leonidas when ordered to disarm. Israel against the Persians....Israel is are a lot better armed than the Spartans and there are a lot more of them. And Ayatollah Xerxes better watch his weather report. It could be 10,000 F and VERY BRIGHT if he's not careful.

After the missile and drone attack launched by Iran against Israel on Saturday, one can assume the Pentagon is concerned about an expansion of this hot war. The question of how much Joe Biden and his puppet master, Barack Obama, care remains unanswered, however (where is that Rashid Khalidi tape anyway, LA Times?). Biden's persistent undermining of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the president's political left flank calling for Bibi's ouster during a war have been politically punctilious, outrageous, and deflating. They telegraph the administration's antipathy toward the Israeli leader and desire for him to fail in his country's quest for survival.

Saturday on Newsmax2, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani argued the correct response to Iran’s attack on Israel would have been to hit Iran at the earliest stages of the strike as possible. Giuliani argued that was what former President Ronald Reagan would have done if he were facing similar circumstances. “I really do think we’re missing an opportunity, a historic opportunity here — if we had a president like my old boss in the White House,” he said. “Every time [when] I was mayor and I had to make a difficult decision, I would say, ‘What would Ronald Reagan do?’ I know what Ronald Reagan

Iran on Friday launched an attack on Israel a day after President Joe Biden warned Tehran not to. “Don’t,” Biden had told reporters after he was asked Thursday what his message to Iran was, after it had threatened to attack Israel in response to a suspected recent Israeli strike against seven members of the Iranian military, including two generals in Syria. “We are devoted to the defense of Israel,” he added. “We will support Israel. We will defend — help defend Israel, and Iran will not succeed.” Biden was planning on spending the weekend in Rehoboth Beach but returned earlier

Iran, through its United Nations mission in New York, issued a statement that appeared to offer Israel a way to prevent further escalation if it considers the conflict "concluded." "The matter can be deemed concluded," the mission argued. "However, should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. The U.S. military has shot down an unspecified number of drones fired by Iran targeting Israel, according to a defense official. Iran launched a significant number of drones and missiles toward Israel on Saturday in retaliation for an Israeli airstrike that killed a senior Iranian military leader at the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, Syria. The attack, which Iranian leaders had threatened to carry out since the April 1 strike, is ongoing as of Saturday night and into the early hours of Sunday. “In accordance with our ironclad commitment to Israel’s security, U.S. forces in the region continue to shoot down Iranian-launched drones targeting Israel,” the official said. “Our forces remain

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps seized a cargo ship said to be “linked to Israel,” Iranian state media reported Saturday. The Portuguese-flagged MSC Aries vessel was boarded near the Strait of Hormuz between the United Arab Emirates and Iran and was being transferred to Iran’s territorial waters, according to state news agency IRNA. The ship is said to be operated by the Zodiac shipping company, which IRNA linked to Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer. However, Zodiac stated the ship is managed and operated by U.K.–based shipping company MSC. Video footage shows IRGC commandos rappelling from a helicopter onto the ship.

Thanks to the wonders of Bidenomics, the average American is spending over a thousand dollars extra a month. Fortunately, Biden is focused on important things — like funding jihad supporters in Gaza and paying off student loans with taxpayer money the government cannot spare. Fox Business highlighted the $1,069 cost increase compared to three years ago before Joe Biden’s disastrous economic policies drove up inflation higher than Hunter Biden smoking Parmesan cheese. Inflation has allegedly fallen since 2022, but the context for that statement is that inflation is still rising, just at a supposedly slower rate — inflation went up about 18% under Biden
