Finally: Federal Judge Nails DOJ for Giving

Finally a federal judge who believes in justice or something close to it. Could this be a crack in the dike of the tyranny of the DOJ? Is this the beginning of the end of Antifa pattern of violence and silence? We can hope. To understand what's at stake, let's take you back. At UC Berkeley in 2017, Antifa and their local black bloc franchisees set fires and rioted to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking on campus. The anti-free speech violent protesters set off munitions, broke windows, beat people, and scared the university away from allowing any right-wing speakers to be heard on campus—unless they paid for their own security.

FTA: " This case is a huge step in that direction [equal justice under the law], and the people at Main Justice may want to read and learn something from this opinion." Presumably, if they even bother to read the ruling, DOJ will be more stealthy and not so in-your-face about their selective political prosecutions and otherwise, carry on as usual, even if Trump wins the election. The problem is that all federal departments and/or their agencies have both political appointees - who traditionally resign when their party goes out of power, unless they are "hold-overs," as plagued Trump - and career bureaucrats who are ostensibly, but most often not actually, apolitical and may be entrenched for decades. Unfortunately, there is "nesting," where political appointees, before their party leaves the WH, apply for and are granted "career" employee status, typically in the Senior Executive Corps, the agency's executive managers, senior advisors, and key decision makers and the "nesters" anything but non-partisan.

The Georgia court today subtly preserved the federal question of selective prosecution, stating that it should be raised by a separate motion and indicating what needs to be in it. "On that basis" he denied the motion it as part of the motion to disqualify. Selective prosecution, unlike the First Amendment for the J-6 defendants, is not a defense but a bar to prosecution. The court acknowledged it had been raised by defendant Cathleen Latham. He also stated that it was an issue of constitutional magnitude, citing the U.S. Supreme Court. If Trump joins Latham in a motion to bar prosecution on Equal Protection grounds before the trial court, it will likely be denied. But he needs to do it to ask the U.S. District for a stay the trial while considering a writ. At that point. the case in Georgia stops while the matter moves to the Circuit Court of Appeals, and finally to the Supreme Court. That would not likely occur in this term. Judge McAfee just did Trump a huge favor.

Not only have President Joe Biden’s reckless immigration policies brought tens of millions of illegal aliens, skyrocketing crime, dangerous gangs, and deadly drugs into the U.S., but sanctuary cities are now having to face a measles outbreak at shelters. Officials in Chicago are sounding alarms over the third case of measles found in the child of an illegal alien staying at one of the city’s migrant shelters. This comes as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has responded to more than eight total cases involving illegal immigrants in the city. All but one of the individuals diagnosed with measles were described as being connected to the migrant shelter,

According to a report published this week by the non-profit Committee to Unleash Prosperity (CTUP), lockdowns, school closures, and draconian vaccine mandates were major problems when dealing with the effects of the pandemic that took rights away from Americans. Titled "COVID Lessons Learned A Retrospective After Four Years," the report offers ten lessons that leaders of the country need to learn to make the same mistakes twice. “Conventional wisdom pre-COVID was that communities respond best to pandemics when the normal social functioning of the community is least disrupted," the authors wrote.
