Donald Trump’s newly installed leadership team at the Republican National Committee on Monday began the process of pushing out dozens of officials, according to two people close to the Trump campaign and the RNC. All told, the expectation is that more than 60 RNC staffers who work across the political, communications and data departments will be let go. Those being asked to resign include five members of the senior staff, though the names were not made public. Additionally, some vendor contracts are expected to be cut. In a letter to some political and data staff, Sean Cairncross, the RNC’s new chief operating officer,

Excellent news. This bloated, ineffective, incompetent and downright hostile to President Trump and MAGA organization needs to be cleaned out from top to bottom. Staff needs to be trimmed down to a fighting weight and focused, focused, focused on electing Trump and MAGA candidates in both the House and Senate and winning a substantial majority in both houses. I'm so happy to hear this and praying that maybe, just maybe we, our country, will have a shot at victory on November 5, 2024.

They are going to have to get their act together. They are also going to have to make certain that anyone campaigning as a Republican knows what is required. I have my list here and it comes from Oconto County, Wisconsin. Government By And For The People Spending Accountability Balanced Budgets Reduction of Regulations Individual Responsibility & Freedom Strong National Security Utilization of Natural Resources Defenders of Second Amendment This is a start but I really, really hope Michael Watley and Lara Trump can reform and restore what has been taken for granted. . .

Clearing out the RINO dead weight is a great start. Cutting the budget for fresh flowers, expensive travel, and entertainment for the staff should be next. Any employee who thinks they are entitled should be fired. The new management have their work cut out for themselves but they may generate some interest in actually donating.

This absolutely must be done. The RNC will stab Trump in the back over and over otherwise. I take this as a positive sign. A movement in the right direction. Hope he is able to do the same thing in Washington. Alot of Washington needs to be fired. If they can't be fired, at least remove all their authorization. No building access. No computer access.

It's a big leap from cleaning up the RNC to draining the swamp that is our bloated federal government. Our federal institutional/organizational dysfunctions did not just appear one day but through decades and centuries of incrementalism, a political theory coined by Charles Lindblom, that posits that institutional/organizational change is most often stealthy and gradual and is often used to bring about radical changes, which were not sold as intended consequences. Non-incremental changes are often the result of war or less often, a result of sweeping legislation, such as the "New Deal." The swamp can be drained but not by any single person, that person being a three-level chess playing genius or otherwise. The swinging pendulum of party politics brings incremental changes to the fore every 4, 8, or 12 years, as politicians from different parties are elected or replaced and majorities in Congress come and go. Economic policies under Reagan put the wind in the sails of the economy under Clinton's watch, the heyday of mutual funds and 401k's, but not owing to a single Clinton policy. GW Bush inherited a sinking economy in response to Clinton's Neo-progressivism. The lag time caused by the political pendulum swings confuses attribution of credit and blame as it relates to presidential politics. The swamp can be drained but probably not during many of our lifetimes.

ATLANTA — The judge presiding over the election interference case in Georgia has dismissed some of the criminal counts against former President Donald Trump. In a ruling Wednesday, Judge Scott McAfee found that six of the counts in the indictment against Trump and some of his co-defendants, including his former chief of staff Mark Meadows and lawyer Rudy Giuliani, lacked sufficient detail. "As written, these six counts contain all the essential elements of the crimes but fail to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission, i.e., the underlying felony solicited. They do not give the Defendants enough information to prepare their defenses intelligently," McAfee wrote.

It's South By Southwest Conference (SXSW) time in Austin, Texas. It is an annual event that is "a global event for digital creatives to explore cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with professionals." The conference dates this year are March 8-15. Austin is a big live music city and SXSW brings in musicians from all over the world. This year there is controversy because many bands and musicians scheduled to perform at the festival are pulling out of the event because of the U.S. Army's "super sponsorship" of the festival. They are also taking a pass on performing because of America's support of Israel in the Israel-Hamas war.

European countries have foiled an increase number of terror threats over the last year, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday. Many of these incidents were left unreported until now. In one incident, which occured last December, Austrian and Bosnian authorities arrested two separate groups of Syrian and Afghan refugees who were found to be holding arms and ammunition. The arrested parties had photos of Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe, leading authorities to believe that their motives may have been connected to Israel's war against Hamas. In another arrest from late last year, a group of Tajik nationals had been detained
