On Tuesday, Louisiana became the 28th state to pass legislation allowing the carry of handguns without a permit, often referred to as "constitutional carry." The law, originally Louisiana Senate Bill 1, was signed into law by Governor Jeff Landry."Today, we join 27 other states in passing Constitutional Carry. I promised the folks of Louisiana that I would champion Constitutional Carry into law, and within two months, I have honored that commitment," Republican Gov. Jeff Landry told Fox News Digital.
"It's fundamentally clear — law-abiding citizens should never have to seek government permission to safeguard themselves

An armed society is a polite society, and as Biden and the democrats keep inviting (and now transporting by air) the dregs of the world into the USA, more Americans will be interested in self-protection.

1 is correct. I live in one of Jason Aldean’s small towns but have hardened my home with dead bolts, cameras etc. it’s a shame. We didn’t even lock our doors for a trip to the grocery store 30 years ago and look at what our country has become. This is completely on the shoulders of the Democrats and their running dogs on the left. Be careful, be alert, and arm yourselves. It will get worse and I am not sure even DJT can turn it around now.

Things are shaping up. Although you still have to pick the right path, you can now drive from FL/GA to ID/UT/AZ without fear of the authorities confiscating your legally-owned handgun. A lot of patriotic folks have been doing a lot of hard work for many years to get this Constitutional guarantee codified into law.

Given that one of the more vicious gangs from Central America are migrating to New Orleans, this may save a few lives.

When I walk in the mall parking lot in Louisiana, I put my hand down in my purse, so that a potential mugger will be worried that I might have a handgun for protection. Now I just might have one in there.

Perhaps the remaining 22 States (57 by Barack's count) might begin re-reading their U.S. Constitution instead the Atlantic, Lenin and Marx.

A gun carrying American citizen is our best defense...unless it's the Obama/biden open southern border...designed by Barack HUSSEIN Obama to thin out the white American herd and install HIS idea of how to change America into HIS liking....he's vicious and now WE know it...and that's why Michelle non belle will be installed at the Chicago convention.....so he can get four more years in the White House.....her denials are a contrived narrative for the fake news.....

The northeast, California and the west coast, Illinois, etc, abhor citizens with weapons and we're unlikely to see that change. At least we're in the majority now. The Ohio crime rate has gone down since it instituted CC but don't expect it to be in the news.

The South Carolina house just passed constitutional carry and now it goes to the senate, which will pass it and then to the governor who will sign it. I just hope that they do it quickly.
