The Biden administration is still trying to impose more restrictions on your right to keep and bear arms. Ever since President Joe Biden took office, he has sought to pass legislation that would make it harder for responsible Americans to obtain and carry firearms. However, the makeup of Congress made it impossible to pass his most ambitious restrictions. Advertisement Because of this, the White House has been forced to seek out new and inventive ways to violate the Second Amendment and has relied heavily on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

Comments:

Once again, Dementia Joe shows his contempt for the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution in general!!

In the 70's and 80's when I bought a used gun I would insist on a bill of sale, and ask the seller if he minded if I took the serial number to a cop friend to run just to be sure. I didnt always do it, but the seller's reaction told me what I needed to know. Nowadays, with all the government sleaze, I dont ask for a bill of sale. I dont run the serial number and I prefer not to know who the the seller is. I profile the seller myself and always pay cash. Yes, there is a chance of buying a hot one and I wouldn't want to do that, but there is a greater chance of ending up on some government list.

It isn't intended to work. It is meant to provide another avenue for punitive prosecution. Only for the littlepeople. If you can't control us with a material crime, make up a procedural one.

It no longer matters. Anybody who doesn't have a well-rounded arsenal and cases of ammo by now will probably not survive in the next couple of years anyway if the dictatorship pulls off another coup in 2024.

Besides what everyone else has said, there is no federal authority for this since these sales are occurring intra-state vs. interstate. Relying upon the interstate commerce clause has been the rationale for federal authority expanding into virtually every crevice of our national life since so much stuff and services involves interstate traffic.

With the release of the Senate's $106 billion supplemental aid and border security bill reportedly imminent, Republican Sen. Mike Lee (UT) not only wants nothing to do with the so-called "bipartisan" bill; he's also had enough of Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell's "corrupt approach to legislating." Lee fired off a lengthy X (formerly Twitter) post on Thursday, in which he thoroughly blistered both the bill—and Schumer and McConnell. He began by recounting a short conversation with a reporter. [Tweet] Lee was surprised by his own quick reaction to the reporter's question about whether he'd be ready to vote for the bill by Tuesday.

A 2005 clip of Morgan Freeman is circulating on social media as Black History Month kicks off, showing the actor’s distaste for the time of the year when the contributions of African Americans to the U.S. are honored. Speaking to “60 Minutes,” Mike Wallace was taken aback by his reaction to Black History Month, which Freeman panned as “ridiculous.” “You’re going to relegate my history to a month?” he asks in the clip. “What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month?” Wallace pauses before telling Freeman he’s Jewish. The actor then asks if he’d like a Jewish History Month. Wallace says he does not.

Sometimes, the best defense is a good offense. And sometimes, offense is just a desperate ploy. Fani Willis and Nathan Wade faced a deadline today to respond to the disqualification motion filed by RICO defendant Michael Roman that alleges a personal conflict of interest. According to CBS News, Willis and Wade will acknowledge a “personal relationship” started in 2022 after Willis hired Wade to prosecute Georgia v Donald Trump et al. However, Willis’ filing rebukes Ashleigh Merchant for ‘incredibly inappropriate” intrusions on her personal life, while Wade denies that Willis benefited from the funds she paid him:

As though President Biden hasn't taken enough actions to offer aid and comfort to America's enemies already, now he is reportedly to issue an executive order (EO) threatening Israeli citizens who have settled in the West Bank. President Joe Biden is expected to issue an executive order targeting Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have been attacking Palestinianns in the occupied territory, according to four people familiar with the matter. A senior administration official, who like the others was not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, said the White House was expected to announce the order later Thursday. The order comes with Biden facing growing criticism

How do you know that it's election time? Joe Biden is finally doing something about the border crisis. Not anything substantive to fix the issues, mind you, not that. He claims he doesn't have the power to do that. He's trying to shift the blame for the problem he created and has denied for three years until this month, to the Republicans, now that the election is upon us and his handlers realize it's an important issue to the American people. But he's also discovered something else with election time. He's discovered how important Ohio is and how he's losing in the polls to former President Donald Trump there,

We've been seeing more and more trouble start to pile up for Fulton County DA Fani Willis. First, there was the revelation of an alleged romantic relationship with the man she had appointed to be a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, in the election case against former President Donald Trump. That was accompanied by evidence of at least two meetings with the Biden White House, which stinks to high heaven. That was followed by the records from Wade's estranged wife Jocelyn Wade that were filed in their divorce case showing that he allegedly bought trips to go on together with Willis.

Democrat attorneys general are calling for an investigation into the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in an effort to shut down the facility. The Missouri-based plant, which is the largest producer of small arms ammunition in the U.S., has become one of the latest targets of the anti-gunner crowd in their quest to keep as many Americans disarmed as possible. The Democrats’ request, which is ostensibly intended to curb the availability of “military-grade rounds” in the commercial market, is supposed to be a step towards decreasing the prevalence of gun violence. It is belaboring the obvious to note that a constitutional right should not be conditional and subject to taxation, but a Maryland politician is proposing exactly that. Predictably, anti-Second Amendment Maryland Delegate Terri Hill is proposing to require prospective legal CCW holders to provide proof of a $300k insurance policy before being allowed to carry. Gun owners in Maryland would be required to buy at least $300,000 in liability insurance or forfeit their ability to carry a firearm under a new bill. The controversial legislation, introduced by Delegate Terri Hill, D-Howard County, would prohibit the "wear or carry" of a gun anywhere in the state

Young voters are already frustrated that Joe Biden couldn’t deliver on an actual student loan bailout. Biden didn’t have the votes in Congress to pull off something of that scale, and doing so by executive decree was later deemed constitutionally questionable. He did so on a smaller scale because Joe, like crackhead Hunter, thinks the rules don’t apply to him. Still, it hasn’t masked the fact that young voters are souring on Joe; they think he’s too old, and now he’s enabling genocide in Gaza. You know there’s no genocide in Gaza. Still, the kiddos and the Muslim voters here think Treblinka 2.0 is unfolding before our very eyes,

Former U.N. Ambassador and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley's allegations that chaos follows former president Donald Trump wherever he goes are proving to be unfounded. Aside from the circus of indictments, if the poll numbers, endorsements, and wins in both the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Primary are any indication, the Trump 2024 re-election machine appears to be well-oiled and chugging along smoothly. In particular, the endorsements have been almost lockstep, showing a unified Republican Party backing without reservation the person whom they assume will be the presumptive nominee. Something shocking — and telling — has unfolded beyond Donald Trump's onstage, online and courtroom theatrics:

Protesters threw soup at the Mona Lisa on Sunday in the latest instance of deliberately shocking climate activism. While some consider disruptive antics such as this alienating to the public, research into social movements shows there is strategy behind it. By combining radical forms of civil disobedience with more mainstream actions, such as lobbying and state-sanctioned demonstrations, activists not only grab the public’s attention, they make less aggressive tactics more acceptable and possibly more successful. I study the role of disruptive politics and social movements in global climate policy and have chronicled the ebb, flow and dynamism of climate activism. With today’s political institutions largely focused on short-term desires over long-term

COLUMBIA, S.C. — President Joe Biden easily won South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Saturday, clinching a state he pushed to lead off his party’s nominating process after it revived his then-struggling White House bid four years ago. Biden on Saturday defeated the other long-shot Democrats on South Carolina’s ballot, including Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips and author Marianne Williamson. His reelection campaign invested heavily in driving up turnout in what it saw as a test drive of its efforts to mobilize Black voters, a key Democratic bloc central to Biden’s chances in a likely November rematch against former President Donald Trump.

Thomas Lifson recently wrote about In-N-Out Burger and Denny’s fleeing Oakland, California. Crime became so constant and blatant it was too dangerous for employees and customers. This kind of wanton, and unrestrained criminality isn’t limited to California. It’s everywhere Democrats/socialist/communists rule, places across the country like Boston: Walgreens was accused of "racial discrimination" by a Democratic lawmaker in Massachusetts after the pharmacy giant closed another location in Boston.

It’s election season and the talking heads are all singing the “this will be the most important election of our lifetime” chorus -- for real this time. While this year’s election will certainly be important, I’d argue that 2008 was the most important election in our lifetime. That’s the year in which we were offered a fork in the road, and we chose the “fundamentally transform America” left turn. We’ve just been looking for the “transform it back” off-ramp ever since. However, I am willing to say that 2024 is likely to be the most dangerous election in our lifetime.

Far too many cultural changes for the worse have happened because far too many people bought the “diversity is our strength” and the “love is love” mantras. Both are cultural poison because both drag your attention away from a person’s character and merit and play to narcissism. Many people of color have come to believe in and rely on their skin color as the sole determinant of their worthiness. Implicit in this belief is that dark skin is good, white skin is bad.
