The Biden Administration has dealt a devastating blow to America by opening up the southern border to all comers. The influx of illegals threatens our national security and our economy, and it has placed an intolerable burden on the border states. How intolerable, is demonstrated by the panic that seizes blue cities when they are faced with a tiny fraction of the burden suffered by communities near the open border.
Joe Biden’s border policy is unconstitutional. Under Article II, his most fundamental duty as president is to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” Biden has not faithfully executed our immigration laws; rather, he has deliberately sabotaged and negated them.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., dismissed Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's call for a federal crackdown on Zyn nicotine pouches, saying there are "bigger issues" to address Thursday.
"I'm going to err on the side of more freedom and personal choices of those kinds of things," Fetterman told reporters. "And I made that same argument when I wanted to legalize marijuana."
Fetterman added he doesn't support "snuff or chewing tobacco," but that substances should be available for adults to freely choose. "So, I don't support it," Fetterman said of Schumer's campaign against the popular nicotine product.

An ally of former President Donald Trump has withdrawn a resolution submitted to the Republican National Committee to try and get the ex-president declared the presumptive nominee before he amassed a majority of delegates to win the primary.
David Bossie, an RNC committeeman from Maryland, pulled the resolution Thursday night, a person familiar told DailyMail.com, after Trump said it wasn't necessary. A spokesperson for Trump's sole rival, former U.N. Amb. Nikki Haley, had earlier on Thursday lashed out at the maneuver. 'While I greatly appreciate the Republican National Committee (RNC) wanting to make me their PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE, and while they have far more votes than necessary to do it, I feel,

The Biden administration will reportedly pause a decision on approving what would be one of the world’s largest gas export hubs, amid concern from climate experts that greenlighting the project would create a “carbon mega bomb”.
The project, Calcasieu Pass 2, or CP2, would be positioned near the rapidly eroding Louisiana shoreline and be the biggest such export terminal in the US and part of a huge expansion of new gas infrastructure along the Gulf of Mexico. The New York Times, citing three unnamed sources, reported Wednesday

Senator Joni Ernst (R., Iowa) and Representative Mike Gallagher (R., Wis.) are calling on the Department of Defense inspector general to begin an investigation into U.S. defense dollars making their way into China and ultimately funding high-risk laboratory research on pathogens similar to the one that began the coronavirus pandemic.
In a letter sent to U.S. DoD IG Robert Storch, Ernst and Gallagher outline the aims of the investigation, mandated by a provision the two Republicans pushed for and ultimately added to the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act.
The pair have asked the Pentagon IG to determine why

Despite a punishing loss in New Hampshire, Nikki Haley has nearly a dozen fundraisers scheduled between now and the South Carolina primary — and insiders are now wondering how many of these shindigs will actually happen. On Jan. 30 in New York City, billionaires including Leonard Stern, Cliff Asness, Stanley Druckenmiller, Ken Langone and Henry Kravis are co-hosting an event for the former South Carolina governor.
On Feb. 6, Silicon Valley mogul Tim Draper is hosting Haley in Atherton, Calif. On Feb. 15, Haley also is slated to be feted in Dallas by real estate tycoon Harlan Crow, according to an invitation reviewed by On The Money.

Donald Trump has warned donors that they will be “barred” from his “MAGA camp” if they make further contributions to Nikki Haley’s campaign, raising the stakes for her billionaire backers a day after she was defeated in the New Hampshire primary.
After dominating the first two contests in the Republican race for the US presidency, Mr Trump has tried to snuff out his rival’s campaign, labelling her an “impostor” who lacks a real base of support among the party.
But Mr Trump went further on Wednesday night, moving to choke off the funding that Ms Haley hopes will propel her campaign to the next primary contest, in her home state

The United States secretly warned Iran over a pair of suicide bombings carried out by ISIS that killed close to 100 people near slain IRGC general Qassem Soleimani's grave earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
The US received intelligence regarding the specific location and time of the planned attack performed by ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K), an ISIS-affiliated terrorist organization in Afghanistan. The information that was passed to Tehran should have been sufficient to prevent the attack or at least mitigate casualties; however, Iran failed to do so. The bombings occured in the southeastern town of Kerman and targeted a crowd that was commemorating

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Thursday that Israeli soldiers had achieved “operational control” in the center of Khan Yunis, the most important Hamas stronghold in the Gaza Strip, where terrorist leaders are thought to be hiding underground. In a statement, the IDF said:
The Commando Brigade is continuing operations in the Khan Yunis area and is strengthening its operational control in this Hamas terrorist stronghold. IDF soldiers who specialize in urban warfare are fighting in particularly challenging terrain and are using their experience and operational skills to carry out these missions.
During the soldiers’ advance in the area, they encountered numerous terrorist cells and eliminated them

The Biden Pentagon is denying it is at war with the Iran-backed Houthi forces, even as President Joe Biden has submitted notifications of military action to Congress as require by the War Powers Resolution.
On January 18, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh was pressed by reporters if another round of U.S. military strikes against Houthi forces in Yemen meant that the U.S. was now at war with the Houthis. She, responded:
We are not at war with the Houthis. In terms of a definition, I think that would be more of a clear declaration from the United States.
However, Biden has submitted at least two notifications

On Wednesday, Representative Joaquin Castro (D-TX) called on President Biden to "seize" the Texas National Guard by calling them into Federal service, removing them from the command and control of the State of Texas. This is presumably in response to Texas Governor Greg Abbott's defiant tone towards the Biden Administration on closing the border. A Texas congressman has urged President Biden to take the state's National Guard under federal control if Republican Governor Greg Abbott defies a Supreme Court ruling allowing federal agents to remove razor wire from a section of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Here is an idea I like a lot – Donald Trump should hop on Trump Force One and fly down to the Eagle Pass, Texas area.
He should do it as soon as possible. Like tomorrow. Why not? His record on securing the southern border is one that he can point to as a undeniable success. He ran on immigration being a top issue in 2015. In his campaign announcement, after he came down the escalator in Trump Tower, he spoke about illegal immigration. He made a trip to the border to see the border wall that had been put up during his time in office but that was years ago.
