If you thought 2022 was bad, 2023 kicked you in the groin while pouring sugar into your gas tank. The only way it could have gone worse is if Joe Biden suddenly because coherent. I realize that’s unlikely to happen, dementia doesn’t reverse itself, but even the reality of his decline and the failures of his policies have only driven his 2024 prospects down to the low end of the margin of error. While there will be plenty of time to look forward to the election, this is a look back at what got us to the end of the year about to be consigned to voiding checks

I think most of the country will have a second celebration come Jan. 20th. Only one year left with the dementia chief in the White House. Of course, all of the celebrations will be tempered by the fact that the demosluts and their followers will enact as much pain on the country until then.

In2023 our 6th grandchild was born, I got a better job plus a raise, we saw Italy for the first time, our estranged youngest softened his heart toward us and got engaged to a woman we really like, and I stopped watching news on TV. A pretty awesome year for me since I’m not honed in on all the doom and gloom served up by the media. I anticipate 2024 will be even better.

What do you mean? Didn't Joe bring us out of the pandemic, setting a particular date for the pandemic to be over. Didn't Joe wage a proxy war with Russia in which NO U.S. TROOPS DIED!! And Joe did much, much more. Look at all the successes. Joe is winning the war on oil.

2024 is going to be horrible. Our enemies know that it is Biden's last year in office, and their last chance for a while to strike a weak USA. Throw in continued inflation, the yoke of green energy, and endless illegal immigration, and it is going to be horrible.

"Progressive downhill motion" might be a good description of our situation. I thought that 2020 would not be topped as a really bad year until 2021 rolled in. The number of illegal immigrants grew exponentially, lockdowns and the masking insanity were still being pushed and Joe Biden's senility got steadily worse. We surrendered after making Afghanistan a reasonably peaceful place, gave away $85 billion of our best weapons to terrorists for use against us, got hundreds of people killed for nothing and sealed our position in the world as a weak and leaderless country. We welcomed government over-spending and the resulting inflation as a way of life. The progress continues. The only hope for 2024 is that next November brings up the possibility of a light at the end of the tunnel but it could very well turn into a train coming our way at high speed.

Federal District Court Judge Ana Reyes of the District of Columbia recently issued an injunction telling Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem that she cannot end “Temporary Protected Status” (TPS) for Haitians who are in the U.S. Of course, Reyes had to blatantly violate federal law to do it because she has no jurisdiction to issue such an order! In her order, Reyes, a Biden appointee (no surprise), stated that the termination “shall be null, void, and of no legal effect.”

In welcome good news for the Trump administration out of the federal court system, a U.S. federal appeals court today vacated an earlier injunction that had blocked parts of President Donald Trump’s executive orders targeting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs. In the Richmond, Virginia-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, a three-judge panel vacated the injunction that would have stopped the Trump administration from eliminating DEI programming in the federal government and among federal contractors. In February 2025, right after Trump took office and issued his executive orders on DEI, U.S. District Judge Adam Abelson in Baltimore issued a preliminary injunction to stop the administration from implementing its plans.

Greg Gutfeld did what Greg Gutfeld does best on his late-night show this week: he grabbed a Democrat talking point, shook it until the hypocrisy fell out, and then held it up for everyone to see. The target was Democrats’ favorite attack line against voter ID laws, and specifically the SAVE Act, which they have hysterically branded as “Jim Crow 2.0.” Gutfeld opened by zeroing in on the left’s most glaring contradiction. “You got to hand it to the Democrats,” he said. “On one hand, they think a child can handle the decision to lop off their genitals,
