Report Exposes Militant Tactics
Of Anti-Ice Network In Minnesota

Original Article

Posted By: J. Arthur Brown, 2/5/2026 11:40:54 AM

An in-depth investigation by City Journal is raising questions about whether a Minneapolis-based anti-ICE network is pushing civilians into dangerous confrontations with federal immigration agents after the shooting deaths of two activists in less than a month. (snip) According to City Journal, one group sits at the center of Minneapolis' anti-ICE movement: Defend the 612. The organization oversees a large network of Signal chats that monitor immigration enforcement, coordinate protests, and mobilize rapid-response actions across Minneapolis neighborhoods. (snip) [City Journal's] investigation found that members and "related officials have encouraged protesters to impede law enforcement; pushed civilians toward legally and physically risky confrontations; and helped mobilize a counter-protest that turned violent."

Comments:

One Minneapolis city official (!) defines Defend the 612's goal as slowing immigration law enforcement down and costing them money. The article also documents a local newspaper's apparent involvement in the group's Agit-Prop efforts. Elsewhere it has been reported that the number "612" in the organization's name refers to a Minneapolis zipcode.

Stop with the Bombshells already. The goons on the street are taking easy money and doing something that they love, behaving like insolent children with no adults around to tell them when it's bedtime. Nobody is pushing them, only the demons in their little heads. Feel free to shoot more of them.

Weeks ago independent journalist Cam Higby exposed the ICE Watch Signal chat network after he penetrated it. His repors were posted here.We even saw photos he took of their internal organization. He deetermined which "district" of the organization Pfretti belonged to, how specific members had emojis, when and how they were dispatched to an ICE operation, and so forth. Incredible detail. When did City Journal get involved?

OK now that the basics of this criminal enterprise are known, why are not the funders and operators of "Defend the 612" and the other named groups, and ALL their access to and use of Signal chats blocked after tracking them for a while? Is ANYONE in the upper tier of DOJ smart enough to actually start tracking down these criminals and arresting them? Are ANY FBI folks capable of figuring this out and getting arrest warrants?

When are we going to face the fact that the anarchists are an organized guerrilla army, and start treating them as such? These are not protests, they are not protesters, their actions have nothing to do with free speech. This is urban guerrilla warfare, and it is overwhelming local law enforcement. Send in the Marines!

Communists will send in their "useful idiots" as "cannon fodder" if it means winning a battle with legitimate authority in the court of public opinion, or gaining advantage in the "media battle-space." These tactics, by the way, were used ruthlessly by the late, Martin Luther King, Jr. whenever his organization sponsored marches all over the South. Local authorities would literally beg him to take out a legal permit for peaceful assembly, which he would repeatedly ignore. Local authorities had no alternative but to mobilize their police, donning riot-gear, brandishing nightsticks, just in case. TV news crews would show up to film the action, should a "hockey match" suddenly occur, and with the women and children strategically positioned at the front of the crowd, as it approached the police line, younger males would begin hurling beer bottles, rocks, bricks, etc. at the Police in an effort to hostile evoke actions as TV cameras filmed police pushing and swatting at people as they tried to get to the ones hurling projectiles in their direction. It made for great "optics" when the Communist narrative was being put forward, and it worked. Fast forward to today and the same thing is being attempted today, but when everyone has a video-camera, including the body-worn kind on every cop, together with access for broadcast over the Internet, control of the narrative is no longer strictly the purview of a few Media Moguls and their Editors in such liberal bastions as New York City or Washington DC, but today from an apartment in St. Paul, or a parent's basement in Minneapolis. ---- Elizabeth Willing Powel's asks Benjamin Franklin: "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" Franklin's response : “A republic, if you can keep it.”
