David Brooks is the ultimate RINO. As the ‘conservative’ columnist at the New York Times, Brooks has never met a Democrat he didn’t like or a liberal policy he didn’t endorse. And yet, even he can see what an outrageous thing it is for four unelected judges to interfere in the 2024 election by taking trump off the ballot. Brooks commented on this during an appearance on taxpayer funded PBS. Transcript via Real clear Politics: AMNA NAWAZ, PBS NEWSHOUR: I do want to get you both to weigh in on the issue out of Colorado as well, the Supreme Court there weighing in and basically saying Mr. Trump is not eligible to appear

Which is the purpose of the bizarre ruling: to give the FBI the power to ruin the lives of tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Americans who protest the removal while the DoJ formally charged Trump with formenting an insurrection. The 4 Colorado judges, all rabid Dems, know the laws and know how to misuse it for political purposes. This barred from elections decision now rests with the SC, where Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson-Brown hold the same leftists views of the Constitution and Country as the Colorado Four.

From what I understand, that particular clause that the Colorado justices invoked was used to prevent former confederates from running for office. But they did and were sometimes elected. One of our Kentucky governors, Simon Boliver Buckner had been a general in the confederacy. He had some good ideas but the Hatfield-McCoy feud, the Rowan County War and the past treasurer of Kentucky Honest Dick Tate absconding with a LOT of money kind of put a crimp in his plans.

No can disagree with what the RINO Brooks is saying. But where was he when five (supposedly independent) battleground states suddenly stood counting at midnight?

David Brooks? Isn't he the RINO clod who fell in love with Obama's creased khaki pants? If even that democrat butt kissing squish of a "man" can see the ridiculousness of this latest stunt against PDJT then you know the left is desperate.

President Joe Biden is deporting about 74 percent fewer criminal illegal aliens from the United States compared to when former President Donald Trump was in office, new analysis shows. Jon Feere, Director of Investigations at the Center for Immigration Studies and a former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official in the Trump administration, conducted analysis comparing Biden’s first full fiscal year as president and Trump’s. According to Feere, ICE data from Fiscal Year 2018 and Fiscal Year 2022 show a stark contrast between the two administrations — mainly, “the Biden administration has gutted immigration enforcement across the board

The $3 million luxury home the Biden family are staying in for their St. Croix vacation is available to the general public for rent and the owners are using the president's name to advertise the villa on Air B&B. The owners of the private ocean-side Two Palms Villa have listed it on the vacation rental site for $700 a night, bragging that it has 'hosted President Biden on his many trips to St. Croix and is ready to cater to your vacation dreams, too.' While federal ethics regulations prohibit federal employees from using their office to endorse 'any product, service or enterprise,' it is highly unlikely the president is aware his name

According to the Journal, despite major investments from the federal government and automakers into EVs, Americans are not warming to President Joe Biden’s green energy agenda the way the administration and the industry had predicted. The Journal reports: As a result, electric cars and trucks are piling up on dealer lots, causing auto companies to reassess their investment plans. It takes a dealership around three weeks longer to sell an EV than a gasoline vehicle,

In a piece of sad news for gun owners, shooters, Second Amendment advocates, and concealed-carry folks, we note on Wednesday the passing of Gaston Glock, who broke considerable new ground in the design of semi-auto handguns. His guns were something new; polymer-framed, striker-fired, tough, reliable, and aimed directly at the police and military markets, although they gained a big following among recreational shooters and carry advocates. And, as one might expect, a lot of misconceptions grew up around Mr. Glock's creations as well.

Former President Donald Trump will remain on the ballot in Michigan after the Michigan Supreme Court rejected an appeal rooted in the Constitution’s “Insurrection Clause,” although on procedural grounds. Unlike the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled that Trump can remain on the ballot for the state’s upcoming primary. It upheld the unanimous ruling of Michigan’s Court of Appeals, where a three-judge panel held that the argument — that Trump “engaged in insurrection” — was not ripe (meaning that ruling on it would be premature).

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” ― Robert Heinlein - After nearly two centuries of uninterrupted economic and population growth, California has hit a pothole in the road.

In 1862, Dakota Indians went on a mass murder spree, butchering more than 600 innocent whites, mostly women and children. The Indians murdered babies, beating their brains out and nailing them to trees. They tortured children. They engaged in gang rape on a mass scale. That slaughter was the worst massacre by either whites or Indians from 1492 to the present. On a per capita basis, it was five times the carnage of September 11. If that narrative sounds familiar, it should. What the Dakota did in 1862 was remarkably similar to what Gazans did on October 7.
