The once-lofty dreams for GOP primary debates have ultimately ended with the party’s retreat into the arms of corporate media companies that the electorate views as inherently hostile, and no decision maker, from the campaigns themselves to the Republican National Committee (RNC), wants to take credit.
The Daily Caller talked to the RNC, the DeSantis campaign, the Ramaswamy campaign and CNN, and reached out to the Haley campaign. No one can explain how RNC Temporary Committee on Presidential Debates David Bossie’s 2022 promise to center debates around independent and conservative media ended up with the RNC in full retreat and candidates flocking to CNN and Disney-owned ABC on the eve of

All the 'top leaders' of the Republican Party are crooked.

The RNC is in disarray and confusion as the result of its SOPs not to serve its constituents. After keeping a tight grip on the first round of elimination candidate debates with bench-marks for money raised, the number of doners in a number of states, and participation in RNC events only; the Party is allowing candidates to debate in any forum they wish. The catalyst was the Iowa Thanksgiving Family Forum. At first the RNC nixed participation, but later relented. CNN and the rest of the enemedia took notice.
CNN stepped in it big time with their announcement. They failed to notify the college they had mentioned as the location, and they had also never contacted the RNC although they inferred that in their announcement. Typical, and should not be surprising to anyone. CNN doesn't have a bad excuse. After the "exception" for the Iowa forum they rightly expected the RNC to lift their restriction, which indeed happened.
There are those that are not happy with the RNC lifting the rule and allowing candidates to appear on CNN or any enemedia outlet. However, now it is up to the candidates. At some point any Republican running for President has to deal with Fake News. They have a hard act to live up to. Can any one of them enter into that jungle and subdue the jackals like our Lion?

If you take the list of issues that Republican voters care about ranked most to least, the questions will be coming from "care about the least" group.

So, the RNC is in full retreat and candidates are flocking to CNN and Disney-owned ABC on the eve of the first primary states. Fleecing the flock is more like it. John Nance Garner was right about the place in history of the VP position. Daily Caller is right about the rest of the presidential candidate slate.

Paul Ryan subverted Trump in his first term. I hope Trump has more support next time.

Republicans have ruined this country. I look at the leadership of this party, and I see them voting to renew FISA, and fund Ukraine. We have a communist country with the Stasi state police, because the Republicans never voted against any of it.

If the RNC continues to put cartoon characters on the debate stage, what is more appropriate than using Disney to produce it? Replace the faces with Porky Pig, Wiley Coyote, Peppermint Patty and Goofy and you have a whale of a show. Trump is our man, skip the boring little insult parties. MAGA

RINOs is RINOs does. The establishment swings moderate, liking the far Left more than it hates the far right.

If the GOPe continues to choose the Globalist Uni-party and its political objective's, it will mean the end of the Republican party. Things should be so bad by then that a third party, larger than both, should emerge. I don't feel the dems or GOPe has this country's best interests in mind.

Fools.
The 'debate' may go on for an hour or two, and a few people may watch it.
The 3-second 'clip' that will be selected and aired on the leftist media, over, and over, and over, is that clip that most favors the Democ'RATS.
Fat Boy and Nikki should just drop out, Desantis and Vivek should know better than give the Media any chance to smear them.
