A different kind of "Civil War" will debut in 2024 ahead of the presidential election, courtesy of a new movie whose trailer just came out. Written and directed by Alex Garland, "Civil War" is described in a tagline as "a race to the White House in a near-future America balanced on the razor’s edge." In the two-and-a-half-minute trailer from A24, the "razor’s edge" appears to be a modern civil war following the secession of 19 states. The trailer contains various provocative images, including U.S. soldiers and military tanks tearing through American cities during an apparent uprising. Sounds like more election fraud. They are threatening us with what they'll do. Remember Biden's "you don't have f-15s? You don't have nukes?". More of the same.

The "western states" apparently include California and Texas on the same side. THAT's not going to happen. And, I am sure that the "bad guy will be a real estate mogul from NY". And 'conservatives' will be the bad folks.

Neither the VC, nor the NVA had F15s or nukes but they outlasted a superpower and prevailed. They next turned back the Chinese in the Sino-Vietnamese war of 1979.

In the trailer I like the part where in the narrator says they are going to shoot all the journalists, L O L. I just watched the movie leave the world behind. It’s vacuous and weird. More twisted than the twilight zone, but what do you expect from producers Barack and Michelle Obama? The suspense is long and arty through the movie, and it’s a little unsatisfying. The ending makes you wonder what the point of the whole movie was. Anyway, I have just mentioned all the negatives of it, but Leaving the World Behind should be seen, by our people Just to know how the other side is thinking. And it’s pretty empty-headed. But you may get something different out of it that I didn’t get from the vacuousness. This February, I hear Meathead Rob Reiner is coming out with an anti-Christian film. I didn’t think I could dislike the man anymore than I already did. I hope that one bombs.

The Polls For Joe Biden Might Even Be

As President Joe Biden continues to poll behind former President Donald Trump for a potential head-to-head matchup in 2024, recent surveys indicate he is also faring much worse than the Republican on issues that are most important to voters. Trump has been trending ahead of Biden in national and crucial battleground state polls a year out from a hypothetical rematch, and is currently up by 3.2 points in the RealClearPolitics (RCP) average. Additionally, Biden is down by double digits against Trump on questions of basic presidential competency, including the handling of voters’ top issues and concerns over the Democrat’s age, according to recent polling data.

ABC News has refuted a recent claim by President Joe Biden that Israel commits “indiscriminate bombing” in Gaza, reporting, after an investigation, that Israel has in fact used a “historically high level of precision weapons usage in urban warfare.” Biden made the outlandish claim, without providing evidence, during remarks at a private fundraiser last week in Washington, DC. His claim caused a minor diplomatic crisis, with Israel rejecting the accusation and the White House trying to clean it up. A CNN “exclusive” by controversial reporter Natasha Bertrand claimed that nearly half of the munitions used by Israel in airstrikes against terrorists in Gaza were “dumb bombs,” only reporting in the 20th paragraph

So much for the “white flag” from Hamas. Last night the Times of Israel reported that rockets were fired from Gaza into Jerusalem and Hamas has admitted to the attack. One rocket struck near Ramallah hospital. Thankfully no deaths or serious injuries were reported and the Iron Dome intercepted several of the missiles. These were the first reported rockets launched across the border into Israel since October 16. This proves yet again that there is no “ceasefire” in place that Hamas would ever recognize and it also goes to show that more work remains in Israel’s effort to completely wipe Hamas off the map. A majority of young Americans said they believe Israel should “be ended and given to Hamas,” according to a shocking poll. The survey, conducted THIS WEEK by Harvard-Harris polling, found 51% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 said they believed the long-term answer to the Israel-Palestinian conflict was for “Israel to be ended and given to Hamas and the Palestinians.” Only 32% said they believed in a two-state solution, and just 17% said other Arab states should be asked to absorb Palestinian populations. The figure was in stark contrast to other age groups, which all dramatically preferred a two-state solution. Just 4% of Americans 65 and over

Amid the recent national reckoning on academia and college education, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs have been intensely scrutinized. Many people have finally realized these programs are leftist propaganda that offers no legitimate value to anything. Riding this wave of common sense, Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) issued an executive order to stop funding DEI programs in the state’s agencies and public universities. As part of the order, the University of Oklahoma was required to halt funding of its DEI programs. It’s a move that upset Atlantic contributing writer Jemele Hill, a notorious race agitator and former ESPN host.

Maybe you’ve heard of O’Sullivan’s First Law? This was an idea introduced by John O’Sullivan back in 1989. All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing. I cite as supporting evidence the ACLU, the Ford Foundation, and the Episcopal Church. The reason is, of course, that people who staff such bodies tend to be the sort who don’t like private profit, business, making money, the current organization of society, and, by extension, the Western world. O’Sullivan’s Law was about the behavior of groups and organizations but I thought of it today when I read this article from the left-wing magazine/website In These Times. IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari announced Friday afternoon that Israeli troops had mistakenly killed three Israeli hostages after mistaking them for enemy combatants during an operation in the Gaza neighborhood of Shejaiya. “This is an area where the soldiers encountered many terrorists, including suicide bombers,” Hagari said, calling the deaths of the hostages a “tragic incident.” The spokesman named two of the three casualties as Yotam Haim of Kfar Aza, and Samar Talalka of Rahat, all of whom managed to flee captivity “or were abandoned by the terrorists who held them,” Hagari explained. The IDF official contextualized the military’s response by highlighting the level of resistance Israeli troops face from Hamas.
