Their speeches give an insight into what is at stake during the upcoming two weeks of negotiations. Speakers at COP28 on Friday include Mohammed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, a leading oil producer, and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, where sprawling cities suffer from worsening air pollution. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was among the first to speak. Reiterating his message that unprecedented global heating is causing human suffering, he called on leaders to take urgent action. UN Secretary Guterres should make a good start in NYC to tell his UN members to stop double parking whilst visiting prostitutes and letting their chauffeur run the car so that it is warm when they get back in. Or AC in the summer. He might also inform them that they should eat less hamburgers and not shove these huge steaks into their greedy mouth. Let them eat the garbage they ate before they came to the US.

No, this has NOTHING to do with the 'environment. It is simply a system they are building to weaken the Western countries and to control the rest of us. And I don't see it mentioned, but my gut tells me that the US Taxpayers are footing the bill for most -if not all-of this. These people are Evil.

We're in the bottom 5% of temps experienced since the end of the last ice age. It was warmer during the Medieval Warming. It was warmer still during the Roman Warming. And the Minoan Warming was even more warm. Those did not harm the planet... but it let agriculture thrive on Greenland, grape vine grow in Scotland, and civilization expand. If history is any guide, and it is, the next REAL climate change will be a transition to the next Ice Age. As per usual, if they say look left; look right.

The recent decision by Disney to pull its advertising from X drew fire from Elon Musk. During a conference appearance, the billionaire used the far more explicit form of telling someone to go jump in a lake to respond to the move. Musk also called out Disney CEO Bob Iger by name, accusing him of trying to "blackmail" X with money to eliminate free speech on the social media platform. What was the reason behind Disney's move? According to reports, the company was reacting to a manufactured Media Matters "study" in which they were able to produce some ads next to antisemitic content. As RedState noted,

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday that it had killed Hamas commander Wissam Farhat, who was involved in planning the October 7 terror attack and had been involved in terrorism against Israel for almost three decades. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised that Israel will kill every Hamas member involved in the October 7 attack. Farhat was arrested in 1995 while driving a truck full of explosives for use in a terror attack against Israel. Hamas claimed later that he had divulged the location of another Hamas commander in Gaza City, who was later killed in an explosion.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his nation on Saturday evening to reassure them that the Israeli military would continue the invasion of Gaza until “absolute victory” over Hamas had been achieved. Netanyahu spoke at a press conference roughly 36 hours after Hamas broke a seven-day truce, ending negotiations that had led to the release of 84 Israeli women and children that it had taken hostage, as well as 24 foreign nationals. Netanyahu ordered negotiators to return home from Qatar on Saturday. In his address, Netanyahu mourned the death of an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer whose death in the Hamas terror attack of October 7 had only just been confirmed

In the interview, transcribed by MEMRI (The Middle East Media Research Institute), senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan was asked: "If you could go back in time to October 6, would you still do what you did on October 7?" His response was immediate and direct: Why do some people assume that we would go back on our acts of resistance?
