Hamas negotiators are in the final stages of striking a deal that would include the release of at least 50 hostages in exchange for a pause in fighting, the chief of the terrorist group said on Tuesday. Hamas leaders are “close to reaching a truce agreement” with Israel, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh said in a statement provided to Reuters. The agreement is in its “final stages” and a deal is “closer than it has ever been,” a source familiar with the negotiations told the wire service. As part of the deal, Hamas would release at least 50 women and children who were kidnapped during the terrorist

Actual translation: Hamas and its supporters have truckloads of materiel to bring in to replenish their armaments so they’re ready for a ceasefire soon to be followed by another attack.

Greta van Susteren on Newsmax was in Israel last night, talking with a man who was there when Hamas terrorists came. He said Hamas had hours to do their dirty work. He said one army person was able to get on a second story in one of the kibbutzes and picked them off one by one as they came in his area. She also walked the area where they were having the peace celebration and so many were killed trying to escape.

From what I'm reading, the IDF is finding dead hostages quicker than Hamas "promises" to release them. Until and unless the Hamas terrorists release EACH and EVERY hostage, there is no reason to "pause" or do anything by the Israelis except what they are currently doing. And when such a "pause" takes place, the IDF should have a naval and air blockade in place to prevent Hamas from re-stocking.

A train derailed and spilled chemicals in a remote part of eastern Kentucky on Wednesday, prompting officials to encourage residents of a small town to evacuate. Gov. Andy Beshear said in a statement that local officials in Rockcastle County were encouraging residents of Livingston, with a population of about 200, to evacuate. In a news release, railroad operator CSX said that the derailment occurred a little before 2:30 p.m. local time north of Livingston and involved at least 16 cars. Two cars containing sulfur were "breached" and some of the sulfur caught fire, CSX said, indicting that sulfur dioxide gas was being released into the air.

Stunning video posted to social media by Israel Defense Forces shows extensive Hamas tunnels underneath the Shifa Hospital complex, complete with air conditioning, bathrooms, and large caches of weapons. In the first clip, a young soldier faces the camera and says the footage proves that Hamas used the hospital as a terrorism base: We just entered the Shifa Complex. Behind me is the wall that guards it... ...we're here to see the tunnels and to go inside. What they discovered here in the last 48 hours is baffling and just more evidence that Hamas uses this place as a command and control Center and is a terrorist hub underneath this hospital.

What to do with the Jew-haters who walk among us? They fall into two broad categories: non-citizens and citizens, and the answer depends on the category into which they fall. For the non-citizen category, Newt Gingrich writes, “Americans overwhelmingly believe that activities designed to intimidate or frighten Jewish Americans can be punished legally (66 percent to 17 percent)” and “By 66 percent to 22 percent, Americans would deport non-citizens who publicly support the killing of Jews or support Hamas or other terrorist organizations.” Newt calls upon Congress to enact legislation that mandates deportation. As for the citizen category, when it comes to our mostly home-grown

Either having open borders is a good public policy or it isn’t. At least in my simpleminded view people whose job it is to set policy should do so based on what is good for the country. That’s not how Aaron Blake of the Washington Post sees things, at least from his point of view as a political analyst. For him, it is all about the polling. Democrats could get away with open borders while the Democrat base was OK with it. But now that Democrats don’t care for it, it may be time to change policies. At least he is open about it; Democrats can harm the country all they want until

The left-wing coalition led by Frans Timmermans is predicted to come second with 25 seats while the VVD, which has led the government for the past 13 years under the leadership of outgoing prime minister

Instead, a spokesperson clarifies that Barrera’s posts were interpreted as antisemitic. “Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hate in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech,”

According to the White House, history had not begun when the president was born 81 years ago. It didn't even begin when Joe Biden became president nearly three years ago. Instead, the executive branch would like you to believe that history and price levels began only one year ago. There's a reason just 2% of voters polled by the New York Times said that the economy under "Bidenomics" is excellent: they weren't born yesterday. We're currently in year three of the worst inflationary crisis of the past 40, and tone-deaf posts like this one from the White House feel like an insult to the common sense of the public.

The GOP finally put up some good electoral news on Tuesday. Republican William Cogswell defeated Democrat John Tecklenburg to become the next mayor of Charleston, SC. Tecklenburg was a two-time incumbent and expected to win the race as it headed into a run-off following the November 7th general election. What makes this such a big victory for Republicans is that Democrats had held the mayorship of Charleston since 1877, marking a major shift in fortunes. Voters in Charleston have chosen former State Representative William Cogswell to lead the city as its next mayor.
