As President Joe Biden's open border continues to wreak havoc on the United States, one Democratic city is suffering the consequences. Over the weekend, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) sent its tenth bus full of illegal migrants to Los Angeles just days after its mayor criticized the border state for sending migrants. Democrat Mayor Karen Bass got a rude awakening when a bus of 39 illegal migrants showed up on her doorstep. The bus, which included 12 families and 21 children, was sent five days after Abbott sent the ninth shipment to the liberal city during Tropical Storm Hillary. “LA has not extended an invitation asking for people to come.

Been in LA lately? The blight caused by illegal immigration is creeping west on Melrose heading towards Hancock Park. If I lived in Hancock Park, a call to a realtor might be a good idea. Los Feliz by Griffith Park would be an option or, horrors, somewhere in the Valley.

Drat, I misread the headline. I thought Abbott sent 10 buses, as in an illegal immigrant caravan. On the plus side, it's nice to know the misery is being spread around, and these leftist sanctuary cities deserve the misery.

Los Angeles will have no trouble sheltering them, just set out some cardboard boxes and let them camp with the rest of the homeless camping there.

Political Theater. Those illegals accepted free bus rides from Texas to California. No one forced them to go. California is free to do the same thing. Just offer rides to Texas and see who wants to go. I suspect most of the riders go bcause they have relatives in the destination state. There are so many illegals that would be true of thousands.

FTA: “LA has not extended an invitation asking for people to come. This is a political act,” Bass said, despite declaring Los Angeles a sanctuary city in June. " LOL! She needs to catch up. LA is a long-time sanctuary city, California is a sanctuary state. Joe Biden invited all of the new arrivals she's complaining about to come to the US illegally on his first day in office. What did she think would happen to California? In Biden's America, illegal aliens get to decide where they want to go. California is stuck with them whether she likes it or not.

Is it not funny how the pro sanctuary city mayors cannot afford to house or support the illegal immigrants is causing a news silence about the border crossing. We do not hear any news about the border crossings - the media is totally silent on this issue. I just laugh at the New York hypocrites. They vote for democrats in support of illegal border crossing policies and for making their city a sanctuary city but yet when they have these people bused to their city or cities they are the first to complain. NewYorks answer to the crisis is to kick out American veterans from their housing to give to illegal immigrants though!

California will make sure they have valid US identification making them indistinguishable from US citizens, register them to vote, and offer them free transportation and pay for their housing in the Republican state of their choice. The Texas governor must be aware of this very distinct possibility but persists. We are being had. The only place these illegal aliens should be going is back over the border.

President Joe Biden told reporters Sunday that he had “no home to go to,” citing that as the reason he was spending another night at his vacation house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Biden seemed a little defensive about his presence at the popular seaside destination, particularly following criticism he received for sunning on the beach in Delaware in the immediate aftermath of the deadly Maui wildfires. “By the way, the reason I’m here today, just for one day — I know you think I’m on vacation, I’m not. I have no home to go to,” Biden told reporters, apparently unprompted,

Two people were charged with looting a home damaged by Hurricane Idalia in Florida’s Big Bend region, as residents’ concerns grew that burglars could be tempted to hit other hurricane-ravaged homes since law enforcement is stretched thin in the remote, wooded area along the Gulf Coast. Some residents of Horseshoe Beach, Florida, one of the communities hardest hit after Idalia made landfall Wednesday as a Category 3 hurricane, urged law enforcement to set up checkpoints where people would have to show identification in order to get into the town. I wrote earlier about Joe Biden's visit to hurricane-ravaged Florida. On the way there, he made a weird, snotty comment in response to being asked about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and why he wasn't meeting with Biden. Then, when he was there, he blamed the hurricane on climate change, had a weird, stilted visit with first responders, and told an unbelievable tale about why he still hasn't visited East Palestine, Ohio -- the site of that disastrous train derailment in February. The left, instead of concentrating on the people of Florida, made it about Joe Biden.

We have so many beautiful sites here in the South, and I love living in an area where I have easy access to the beach and the mountains. There’s nothing like getting out in nature, even if it’s just the woods behind my house. I often hear people talk about communing with God in nature, and while we have to avoid the trap and temptation to become more devoted to the created things than to the Creator Himself, it’s easy to see how people can become closer to God when they experience His creation. John Calvin called creation the “theater of the glory of God.”
