President Joe Biden told reporters Sunday that he had “no home to go to,” citing that as the reason he was spending another night at his vacation house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Biden seemed a little defensive about his presence at the popular seaside destination, particularly following criticism he received for sunning on the beach in Delaware in the immediate aftermath of the deadly Maui wildfires.
“By the way, the reason I’m here today, just for one day — I know you think I’m on vacation, I’m not. I have no home to go to,” Biden told reporters, apparently unprompted,

Two people were charged with looting a home damaged by Hurricane Idalia in Florida’s Big Bend region, as residents’ concerns grew that burglars could be tempted to hit other hurricane-ravaged homes since law enforcement is stretched thin in the remote, wooded area along the Gulf Coast.
Some residents of Horseshoe Beach, Florida, one of the communities hardest hit after Idalia made landfall Wednesday as a Category 3 hurricane, urged law enforcement to set up checkpoints where people would have to show identification in order to get into the town.
Marina worker Kerry Ford had high praise for local law enforcement’s response to the hurricane

I wrote earlier about Joe Biden's visit to hurricane-ravaged Florida. On the way there, he made a weird, snotty comment in response to being asked about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and why he wasn't meeting with Biden. Then, when he was there, he blamed the hurricane on climate change, had a weird, stilted visit with first responders, and told an unbelievable tale about why he still hasn't visited East Palestine, Ohio -- the site of that disastrous train derailment in February.
The left, instead of concentrating on the people of Florida, made it about Joe Biden.

A recent poll conducted by Big Village CARAVAN assessing Democrat Party voter preferences in June 2023 found that the Brandon entity is sitting at 60.3%, RFK Jr. is at 19%, and Marianne Williamson is at 9.7%. “Someone else” gets 10.9%.
This means that just about 40% of his own party’s voters actively oppose the re-nomination of Joseph Brandon and endorse other candidates — nearly unheard of for a sitting president. And this is without any debates and with the entire corporate state media in his corner. [Tweet]
But it gets even worse for Brandon, assuming he limps his way (probably with heavy pharmaceutical assistance) to the 2024 general election:

Just in case you have any lingering doubt about what the Democrats plan to inflict upon America, consider the case of Tim Hernández, whom Colorado party apparatchiks have just selected to fill a vacant state House seat in the Denver area. The charming Hernández is an open and proud Marxist, frequently rails against “Whiteness,” and has called for a “FORCEFUL Cultural Revolution.” He is also, of course, a schoolteacher, busy raising up new cadres of Bolsheviks to bring about the revolution he desires. Every Marxist revolution in history has been accompanied by appalling bloodlust; if Hernández ever gets what he wants, Coloradans can’t say they didn’t see it coming.

As President Joe Biden's open border continues to wreak havoc on the United States, one Democratic city is suffering the consequences.
Over the weekend, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) sent its tenth bus full of illegal migrants to Los Angeles just days after its mayor criticized the border state for sending migrants.
Democrat Mayor Karen Bass got a rude awakening when a bus of 39 illegal migrants showed up on her doorstep.
The bus, which included 12 families and 21 children, was sent five days after Abbott sent the ninth shipment to the liberal city during Tropical Storm Hillary.

We have so many beautiful sites here in the South, and I love living in an area where I have easy access to the beach and the mountains. There’s nothing like getting out in nature, even if it’s just the woods behind my house.
I often hear people talk about communing with God in nature, and while we have to avoid the trap and temptation to become more devoted to the created things than to the Creator Himself, it’s easy to see how people can become closer to God when they experience His creation.
John Calvin called creation the “theater of the glory of God.”

Here we go again— the Biden Administration has plans to roll out a new COVID-19 vaccine this fall, requiring Americans to get another jab.
Despite declaring earlier this year that COVID is no longer a threat, President Joe Biden said his administration will "likely" recommend that all Americans receive the updated booster, including children.
Over the weekend, the president told reporters that he plans to ask Congress for additional funds to develop a new vaccine, adding that he may force everyone to take it whether they previously received the initial vaccine.
"Yes, I can," Biden said.

On Friday’s broadcast of “The Issue Is,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass stated that the issue of retail theft in the city has “nothing to do” with a lack of consequences for crime in the city and “things like this happen” when there are profits.
Bass said, “Well, you know what, things like this happen when there [are] profits to be made, and law enforcement put the task force together that I’m supportive of, and it has a number of different agencies, the city attorney, the district attorney, etc., all at the table. And I will tell you that, just the other day, they made eleven arrests.

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has raised $7.1 million since he surrender himself into custody at the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
Trump surrendered himself into custody after being indicted alongside 18 others in a 98-page, 41-count indictment by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Notably, Fulton County made Trump take a mugshot, marking his first mugshot of the four criminal cases he currently faces.
Trump returned to Twitter for the first time in two years on Thursday, posting a photo of his mugshot and a link directing his supporters to donate to his campaign.

Edward Snowden, who famously leaked classified information from the National Security Agency in 2013, recently claimed that the FBI probably already has a file on singing sensation Oliver Anthony.
Millions of Americans who have become skeptical about the FBI in recent years will probably find this easy to believe.
Anthony’s song ‘Rich Men North of Richmond’ has resonated with America because it is so critical of government. That alone could spark the interest of the intel community.
The Washington Examiner reports:
The FBI likely has a case file on Oliver Anthony already, whistleblower says
Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond” is the most talked about song in America.

You have to hand it to the Biden team. They truly seem to be clueless. Or perhaps they think we are, with the things they try to sell us.
They think the problem isn't Biden, it's just messaging. If Americans just understood Biden and his policies a little better, then we'd truly get what a great guy he is and how wonderful his "plans" are. Of course, the problem is that we do understand his policies--because they are adversely impacting our wallets every single day in so many ways. They're costing us hundreds of dollars more every month--by one count, $709 more a month--
