United States Attorney and Special Counsel John Durham is slated to testify Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee. In his recent report, Durham found that the FBI failed to uphold strict adherence to the law. That could also be said about other players in the ongoing drama. Consider, for example, former U.S. Attorney General William Barr, who appointed Durham in the first place.
“I made it clear that neither President Obama nor Vice President Biden were in Durham’s crosshairs,” Barr explains in One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General. Here is an Attorney General who holds some people above the law, including Joe Biden.

Will anyone lay a glove on him?
Will Durham lay a glove on anyone?

In Texas, we call guys like Durham "All hat, no cattle."
Heck, even Hunter Biden got a tougher penalty than the only conviction that Durham got -- where an underling didn't even get a slap on the wrist for falsifying documents.

I believe Durham did what he was assigned to do; no more, no less. Only the foolish believed that he was crusading for their cause. That he was like a horse wearing blinders crossing a covered bridge is how things turned out but it is the fault of those who assigned him to his tasks that he has no big pigeons sent to jail to which he can point with satisfaction. His rules of engagement were pretty constrained.

Durham did what Barr told him to do: write a report - no indictments of anyone senior or serious charges and protect the institutions: DOJ and FBI. Oh and ignore the two elephants in the room: Obama and Hillary.
And Durham did what any good food soldier does - he followed orders.

Durham had better stand up for all aspects of his investigation and final report, and speak out as the leftist Democrats on that Congressional Committee at every turn will try to slam him and his investigative effort, while attempting to change the subject to non germane issues relating to Trump and the MAGA Republicans who had nothing to do with the investigative mission that Durham was handed.

Durham is as dirty as the rest of them. Don't give him the benefit of the doubt. He's the clean-up man. As citizens of the United States, we are on our own. We are in uncharted waters and we are all Trump now. It is time to fight like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark. (Hat Tip, Sundance.)

I watched a little of the hearing this morning. The dems have the committee loaded with their most obnoxious members - Schiff, Jackson-Lee, Loftgren, Fatty Nadler, and Cohen, all scurrying like cats trying to over up stink to change the subject.

...Russian election interference" does remain "a threat." Yeah, sure but a bigger threat to election integrity is right here in this country.

Re #7
Yes, all the Democrats wasted no time using their TV airtime to disparage Trump. Cohen, Nadler, Schiff, Jackson-Lee et. al. were all trying so desperately to misinform We, The People. What a wretched group of scum they are.

#3, How do effectively do your job when you do not speak with the primary parties that were involved? That would surely be in his preview.
Durham’s report comes as no surprise to me because I did not expect much from him when his investigation dragged on and on. Four years to come to his conclusions and fail to interview the primary subjects? How can that be justified? We have given too much leeway to those who work in Washington. They feel no incentive to move along an investigation because they are being paid regardless how long it takes them to produce much of anything. There is no urgency although the American people want answers and are paying for their work product and that should mean something. Through these half-baked investigations that hold no one accountable we are treated as chumps who have zero right to expect anything. The ruling class has no intention of allowing the peasants to demand anything. They do what they want, when they want and chide us when we are dissatisfied with what is clearly more often than not just an exercise in futility that pays them well. There is no truth to be had in Washington. Truth is of no interest to them. All they care about is protecting the status quo. Unelected bureaucrats investigating the worst criminals in the country and they still manage to reveal nothing that would hold the guilty to account. What good are they? They are just an expense we cannot afford if their investigations lay out crimes that they are unwilling to prosecute. Durham is no different. He just pays the game like the rest of them and Justice is never done.

Ok. So the federal government goes rogue now whenever it is convenient. It protects own. It covers up its crimes as needed. It arrests and persecutes innocent citizens and political opponents when necessary. It openly colludes with evil to retain a firm grip on power. It replaced the citizenry's belief in the Creator with obeyance to a deep state.
What would it take to take down corruption on this scale aside from the Pollyanna approach of electing "honest" people to office. What is the point of having a 50-state Republic that fixes its own elections. Why does a federal government no longer fear a citizenry in a country where there are more guns and ammunition than people. What future is there for a Constitutional Republic that was founded as "one nation under God".
Just keep one thing in mind - God does not seek us. We must seek Him. Only then will America, as founded, have a chance to thrive. Presently, the odds are against us...for now, anyway.
Maybe Americans just have it to good and don't think we need God in our lives anymore.

Durham succeeded where he needed to. This will need to play out. There was one bit of humor from Durham. When he entered the chambers, although a slightly cloudy day, he was carrying an umbrella. He's never seen with an umbrella.
What's the Storm Mr. President?
