The Arkansas House sent the GOP governor a bill Wednesday to make it easier to sue doctors who provide gender-affirming treatment to minors, moving to effectively reinstate the state’s blocked ban on such care. The office of Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said she backs the malpractice bill, which overwhelmingly passed the majority-Republican House on a mostly party-line vote.(Snip) The House-passed bill would allow anyone who received gender-affirming care as a minor to file a malpractice lawsuit against their doctor for up to 15 years after they turn 18.

That's a brilliant approach. Instead of passing a law that makes treatment of minors illegal, putting additional burden on the legal system and leaving enforcement to the discretion of questionable DAs, the open up the liability window to fifteen years so that the misenthropes who perpetrate 'gender affirming' action can be sued by people who are obviously unstable as attested by their 'trans' identities. This should shut down mutilation of minors more effectively and efficiently than outlawing it.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—Less than one month into her first term as Arkansas governor, Sarah Sanders was tapped to deliver the Republican response to President Joe Biden's State of the Union, a speaking slot typically granted to rising stars in the party with the intent to elevate them onto the national stage. But stepping onto the national stage doesn't appear to be Sanders's goal—at least for now.(Snip) In an hour-long interview, the former White House press secretary dodged questions about the 2024 election, diverting the conversation back to what she's doing in Arkansas.

Martin asked, “You don’t know what it was looking for, but you certainly know what you were concerned about it looking for.

“The Constitution is a GLORIOUS LIBERTY DOCUMENT.” These words were delivered by a former slave. The all-caps emphasis was his. In an 1852 speech entitled What to the Slave is the Fourth of July the inimitable Frederick Douglass called out the evil of slavery while praising an undeniable instrument of liberation: the U.S. Constitution. If you visit the National Museum of African-American History and Culture’s (NMAAHC) online exhibit of Douglass’ Fourth of July speech, you won’t see or hear any mention of the Constitution. It’s not the first or last time that the Smithsonian will suppress history. Remember, NMAAHC is the same museum that heavily pushes racist “White Privilege” rhetoric…

There is a concerted effort to destroy the very foundations of our constitutional republic.  Public schools have been ground zero of this attack for decades, though it has been hidden from view from those not paying attention. Walker is doing everything he can to consolidate support in the swing state, including giving more interviews. Part of Walker’s appeal has been his down-home persona despite it earning mockery from those who don’t live within a thousand miles of Georgia. He’s not a politician, and that’s blatantly obvious when he speaks. If you are from the South, absolutely nothing about his delivery seems odd or out of place. To the beltway-dwelling liberals who control the press, though, Walker might as well be from an alien world.

“Everything Everywhere All at Once” was named best picture at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, capping off an improbable awards season run by winning the movie business’s highest honor. Steinbach - a former ACLU lawyer who previously defended free speech - initially claimed Duncan had a right to express his views. But she then launched into an impassioned six minute speech - which she had written down - condemning his life's work.
