'I don't consider myself a celebrity':
Trump sidesteps Mike Pompeo after former

Former President Donald Trump Saturday insisted his former secretary of state was not taking a dig at him when Mike Pompeo warned conservatives against following 'celebrity leaders.' Trump told DailyMail.com that he was a president who got things done in his four-year term. 'I don't consider myself a celebrity leader of the country ... I don't consider myself a celebrity,' he said before delivering the keynote speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference. This is Trump territory, a gathering of the MAGA faithful. But he faced criticism from two of his likely rivals for the Republican nomination.

Trump's administration was riddled with never Trumpers and I think deep state, and the reason led back to the person in charge of hiring who brought in bad actors like Pompeo, Christopher Wray, etc. Gen. McInerny said him and other more conservatives and Trump loyalists were undermined and pushed out of the administration.

And this is why I have concerns with the people in leadership positions who ARE NOT after God's heart. They lean on their own understanding and then start to make generalizations. In this case, Mike Pompeo is doing exactly that. Yes, I have concerns over celebrities and their influences but there are some celebrities who are truly after God's heart and those celebrities are using their gifts and talents to do His work. A message to Mike Pompeo: it might do you good to open up a Study Bible and learn the true qualities of a good leader. . .

Pompeo. Bit too much of a warmonger, plus as #1 said, he failed to clear out the rats in the State Dept., and that should have been his top priority. Pompeo did nothing to deal with the people who facilitated Hillary Clinton's treasonous tenure.

Dr. Anthony Fauci commissioned a February 2020 paper to disprove the possibility that COVID originated in a lab — only to pretend he was not involved in the study at a White House news conference weeks later. Newly-released emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic show the former head of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases both commissioned and had final approval on a scientific paper which claimed it was 'improbable' that the virus leaked out of a lab in Wuhan, China. Just a few weeks later, he stood next to then-President Donald Trump at a press conference

The long-established, once viewed as credible journalism CBS News program, 60 Minutes, attempted to clear the air about the origins of COVID-19 after a year of declaring the lab-leak theory "debunked." After FBI Director Christopher Wray agreed with the bombshell report by the Washington Street Journal, revealing that the United States Department of Energy concluded that COVID "most likely arose from a laboratory leak," 60 Minutes is walking back their previous comments about the matter. In May 2020, CBS News's Scott Pelley cast significant doubt over the Trump Administration's assertions that the virus was leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China saying,

"A sad soul can kill you quicker, far quicker, than a germ," John Steinbeck tenderly wrote. To look around America today is to see the painful proof of this truth. COVID and other pathogens have nothing on the deleterious effects of hopelessness and despair. When people give up on themselves, their towns, and their futures, they look as if they're treading water against the current, seeking any reason just to stop kicking and sink. I don't know if there's a politician in Washington who actually knows what ails America. If there are any, I'm not sure they even care.

Joe Biden was in Selma, Alabama on Sunday to commemorate “Bloody Sunday.” Biden was there to commemorate the 58th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” when police beat peaceful protesters marching for voting rights. But if you read media descriptions, like this from the New York Times, you would think we were barely away from those times. (Tweet) “Even as Democrat-led efforts to protect access to the ballot have failed” — what the heck is this? That’s truly shameless. Exactly who is being denied the vote? And it’s Democrats who have lied and been divisive under Joe Biden acting as though somehow Republicans are denying people the right to vote,

New emails uncovered by House Republicans probing the COVID-19 pandemic reveal the deceptive nature of Dr. Anthony Fauci. They show he “prompted” or commissioned — and had final approval on — a scientific paper written specifically in February 2020 to disprove the theory that the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Eight weeks later, Fauci stood at a White House press conference alongside President Trump and cited that paper as evidence that the lab leak theory was implausible while pretending it had nothing to do with him and he did not know the authors.

Mike Pompeo is openly casting doubt on the conservative bonafides of his one-time boss, former President Donald Trump, ahead of a potential face-off in 2024. During an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Pompeo talked about how a conservative president is needed to tackle the nation’s budget deficit and debt after years of neglect, including during the Trump administration. Anchor Shannon Bream then asked Pompeo if he was saying Trump was not a “true conservative leader,” using her guest’s words to describe the kind of president he argued is necessary to attain fiscal responsibility.

"It would be bad for all involved and bad for the country, and I am opposed to it at all levels." Wintrow was referring to a resolution making its way through the Idaho Legislature that wouldn't move the Idaho-Oregon border but rather call for formal talks between the states' legislatures about relocating the boundary line.

Why is Joe Biden really skipping Charles

Joe Biden will almost certainly not attend the coronation of King Charles III. The official reason is that he is making a trip to Ireland that simply can’t be canceled. The media have focused on two reasons he won’t be there: (1) Eisenhower didn’t attend so there’s no tradition for presidents to attend, and (2) Biden hates the British. I think there are two more likely reasons: (1) Charles III’s coronation is an event without cachet, and (2) it’s impossible for Biden to withstand the rigors of the long coronation ceremony and any pre- and post-ceremony events. Indeed, my money is on the last reason being the real reason.

At least for some, the famous line, “Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt” (often attributed to Mark Twain), perfectly underscores the dilemma of the Democratic Party’s leaders approaching the 2024 presidential election. Many of them seem to be in flat-out denial of the widespread fear — or reality — that they don’t have a viable ticket. A recent article in Politico gave a deliberate test drive to some of the concerns regarding the highly flawed incumbent ticket of President Biden and Vice President Harris. It read, in part: “High-level Democrats are rallying to President Biden’s reelection, not because they
