Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to kick off a pro-police tour starting in New York City to speak with law enforcement officers in blue-led cities who feel unsupported. DeSantis will begin the tour Monday morning by speaking with police officers and law enforcement union officials at a diner in red-leaning borough of Staten Island. The governor will then head to Fort Washington, a Philadelphia suburb, and Elmhurst, Illinois, near Chicago, where he will meet with sheriffs, chiefs of police and other local law enforcement officials, his political team told Fox News Digital.

If Trump did not interfere with the elections in Pennsylvania, I would probably say DeSantis should sit this one out. However, Trump has a history of picking the most HORRIBLE people as allies. When he took office, what did he do, he kept all of Obama's high level employees. By doing so, he created h3ll in this nation with the constant chaos. I'm on the fence at the moment. DeSantis can get the job done without turning this country upside down. Ask me who I'm going to support in the next six month.

DeSantis has two great options 1. Complete current term. Run for office in ‘28. Maybe by running against Kari Lake. 2. Become Trump’s Veep. Become President in ‘28. Hope he has the good sense.

Why bother in Illinois? The police liked Trump, too, but they are not enough to carry the state. I think his trip to Illinois is actually a Blank You to Governor Pritzker, with whom DeSantis is feuding.

DeSantis is hitting the issues people really care about in their daily lives, public safety and the CRT/woke craziness. And he's not afraid to enter the deep blue cities and states to champion those causes. Smart. Competent. We need more like him at every level.

What a great governor! I hope he chooses to remain the governor of Florida. He set a tremendous example of how to govern at the stat level and he totally humiliates other governors who are failures. The media does not want DeSantis to become president. They just hate Trump.

Why do none of these articles by so-called reporters ever bring up the fact that the day DeSantis announces that he is running for president, under Florida law he has to resign as governor? Whether you like Trump or not is the odds on favorite to win the nomination so why would DeSantis give up the office of governor of Florida when the odds are pretty long for him to get the republican nomination? Again why do none of these so-called reporters never mention this fact?

I love Gov. DeSantis and what he has done for our State. However, given what Biden has done to Trash our Country in just one Term, I think I would like Governor DeSantis to run for President. He would jump in with Both Feet and get things straightened out and give us our Country Back. Yes, Trump could do the same thing, but does anyone really think that he won't be fighting Indictments and threats of all kinds from the Left. That is never going to change. Also, I think this Country is ready for a Younger President, and Younger Members of Congress. I think the Idea of Biden being 85 or 86 or Trump being 84 or 85 when their Term is up really is giving a lot of Voters Pause. Whoever wins the Nomination (I think it will be Trump or DeSantis) I will vote for them. But my Heart is with DeSantis at this time!

Americans received a pristine view of Democrats’ disastrous America-Last policies this morning as Joe Biden paid a surprise visit to Ukraine while his own country literally burns with manmade disasters he continues to inflame. Biden’s Federal Emergency Management Agency denied any money to help clean up a burning chemical disaster zone in the Republican state of Ohio, but Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has made it clear that Biden will get a blank check to slosh around hundreds of billions from U.S. taxpayers to prolong the carnage of war in Ukraine — and the profits from it from insane deficit spending that also threatens U.S. national security.

It’s not CNN doing that. He’s doing it to himself by exposing his toxic chauvinism to female colleagues. Adams took a shot at DeSantis as the Florida governor kicked off his pro-police tour through Democrat-run cities in the City that Never Sleeps on Monday. "Welcome to NYC, [DeSantis], a place where we don’t ban books, discriminate against our LGBTQ+ neighbors, use asylum seekers as props, or let the government stand between a woman and health care," Adams wrote on Monday.

He’s been called the future of the Democratic Party, and the smartest man in the swamp. Pete Buttigieg serves as transportation secretary in the Biden Administration. And one could argue that, outside of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, there isn’t anyone in the administration who has performed as poorly as the former mayor of South Bend, Ind. This perspective comes after Buttigieg was once again several days late and many dollars short in his response to a 50-car train derailment on Feb. 3 in East Palestine, Ohio, that resulted in four kinds of cancer-causing chemicals being released into the area’s air and water. Fish and poultry have died

The average person can’t describe the daily responsibilities of the secretary of transportation or even name the figure who holds that position — until our transportation infrastructure fails, that is. As far as cushy political appointments go, it’s on the thankless end of the spectrum. At least that was the case before Pete Buttigieg ascended to the role in 2021. Now the secretary of transportation is both a political celebrity and someone immune to meaningful criticism over our country’s transportation failures — and there have been many.Though the left rarely misses an opportunity to announce that “the adults are back in charge,” Buttigieg’s failures suggest otherwise.

Now that everyone acknowledges that Hunter Biden’s laptop is authentic, just as it was when first reported by the New York Post in October 2020, some pretty aggressive rewriting of history is going on. Republicans now control the House of Representatives and have made it plain that they’ll examine the saga of the laptop, the contents of which connect Hunter’s father, now-President Biden, to his family’s lucrative business of selling access to him. Because of this new congressional scrutiny, some who conspired to falsely cast the laptop story as “Russian disinformation” are scrambling to alter the record.

How do we educate our students for freedom? After all, many of them arrive in college today believing that the United States is systematically oppressive, hopelessly unjust, and that there is not much worth celebrating or defending about our country (or so they have been taught). So I often start my class by asking them a simple question: “Out of the world’s twenty largest countries, in which country would you rather live?” I pick the world’s twenty largest countries because size matters. The larger a society’s size, the more complex will be its social, economic, and political problems. There is also the difficulty of maintaining freedom and representative government in the midst

A recent epidemic of airline near misses deserves both attention and reflection. In mid-December, a San Francisco-bound United Airlines Boeing 777-200 airliner, just a little over a minute after taking off from Maui, Hawaii, suddenly dived. It lost more than half its altitude and came within 800 feet of crashing into the Pacific Ocean before pulling up. About a month later, an American Airlines jet crossed the runway at New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport just as a Delta Air Lines plane was accelerating for takeoff. The two aircraft nearly collided.

We were told there were 14,000 hours of surveillance video, but now it appears there are roughly 41,000 hours of tape. Tucker has long questioned whether J6 was an actual insurrection. The FBI stated in August 2021 they found little evidence that the crowd tried to topple the United States. A Harvard University survey released in August 2022 said the same thing. Democrats have fought to keep the tapes under wraps. That is understandable, as it’s hard to cry “insurrection” when looking at videos

Once upon a time we mocked the Soviet Union for its gerontocracy. Aged party leaders, bundled up in overcoats and fur hats to the point of near-unrecognizability, would be wheeled out to sit, immobile, as parades passed or party congresses opened. Their withered, stale leadership was emblematic of the decaying USSR’s withered, stale ideology — and industrial base. But now the joke’s on us. The long-range missiles matter. So do the super-accurate artillery shells, the surface-to-air missiles, and the winter weather gear; the training in the English countryside or the muddy Grafenwöhr maneuver grounds; and the intelligence provided from the eyes in space and the ears on airplanes that circle outside the battlezone. President Biden’s visit to Kyiv matters just as much as any of these. Other heads of government preceded him, earning deserved credit. But it is an altogether different thing when the president of the United States—who is, indeed, the leader of the Free World—shows up. His words mattered.
