Prince Harry has hinted that he and his wife, Meghan Markle will never give up their royal titles, while brazenly asking 'what difference it would make'.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping away from the monarchy and moving to America in early 2020 - many people called for them to give up their royal titles.
Those cries have become increasingly louder in the years since, during which Harry and Meghan have both launched multiple attacks on the royal family, beginning with their incendiary Oprah interview - and continuing with further TV appearances, a Netflix documentary, and the release of Harry's bombshell memoir,

Joe Biden on Monday refused to answer why classified documents had been found inside the offices of his Washington D.C. think tank in November - news that has only been made public now.
Biden was in Mexico City on Monday, for a meeting with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
As the press was being ushered out of the meeting room, one reporter yelled out: 'Mr President, any response to the discovery of classified documents?'
Biden, flanked by his Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and the Attorney General Merrick Garland, did not respond to the question, which was shouted as a Mexican government official began thanking the visiting U.S. delegation.

A customer shot and killed a suspected robber at a Mexican restaurant in Houston late Thursday night, officials said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting happened at The Ranchito #4 around 11:30 p.m.
Witnesses told police that a man in a ski mask entered the restaurant and pointed a pistol at customers, demanding their money. As the suspect collected money, one of the customers pulled out his own gun and shot the suspect multiple times, killing him, police said.
The shooter then retrieved all the stolen money from the robber and returned the money to the other customers before fleeing the scene.

Americans are obliged to help bring more foreigners into their American society, White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters in a briefing ahead of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Mexico’s president on Monday and Tuesday.
“You can’t forget that … we do, as a nation of immigrants, have an obligation to provide better tools and pathways for them to come in,” Kirby told reporters in the White House. The “Nation of Immigrants” narrative was invented in the 1950s by advocates for more migration. Biden and his deputies are pushing that claim to justify their importation of more illegal migrants above the limits set by Congress.

Representative Katherine Clark (D-MA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the 15 votes it took for Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to win the speakership showed “the keys have been handed over to extremists.”
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “It was a chaotic week in the House. Ultimately, however, Kevin McCarthy is the speaker. Are there areas where you think Democrats can realistically work with the Republican majority, common ground on relieving inflation, relieving the humanitarian crisis at the border?”
Clark said, “We have shown, Jake, Democrats stand ready at all times to work for the American people.

A federal agency may look to ban gas stoves over concern about the release of pollutants that can cause health and respiratory problems, according to a new report.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is set to open public comment on the dangers of gas stoves sometime this winter. The commission could set standards on emissions from the gas stoves, or even look to ban the manufacture or import of the appliances, commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. told Bloomberg News.
“This is a hidden hazard,” Trumka told the outlet. “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) on Sunday condemned House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (R-CA) plans to kick her off the House Foreign Affairs Committee as hypocritical.
Omar was asked about McCarthy's repeated promises to yank her committee assignments during an appearance on MSNBC's Yasmin Vossoughian Reports. The progressive lawmaker was specifically questioned about if there were any developments on the matter in the days since McCarthy had secured the speaker's gavel. "I have not [received any updates]," Omar said. "It’s my understanding that we obviously have to get the rules package done. Hopefully, Monday when we reconvene, that is on top of the agenda,

As I’ve said in the past, I’ve never been a fan of the silliness of labeling political opponents. This is not to be confused with humorous “nicknames” — the most clever of which I enjoy, and have coined a few — but rather attempting to paint an adversary into a particular corner defined by you. Third-party “you,” that is. And of course, the most popular label by far among certain factions of the Republican Party is “RINO.”
The definition of “RINO” — Republican in Name Only — not only used to be easy to understand; it was easy to identify Republicans who fit the RINO mold. In the 1990s,

House Republicans are set to vote on a bill that would abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and introduce a national-consumption tax to replace the existing federal income-tax scheme.
House speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed to put the Fair Tax Act on the floor as one of a number of concessions he made to House Freedom Caucus members last week in a bid to secure the speakership. The bill was introduced by Representative Buddy Carter (R., Ga.) on Wednesday and has also received the support of Republican representatives Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Bob Good of Virginia, and Ralph Norman of South Carolina.
