Washington - The House approved a $1.7 trillion spending package Friday, a day after the Senate adopted the sweeping bill despite a last-minute tussle between Republicans and Democrats over southern border policies.
The House vote, which provides funding of domestic and foreign programs through Sept. 30, took place only hours before the government would have run out of money and would have had to initiate a partial federal shutdown. The chamber passed the legislation largely along party lines, 225-201, with nine Republicans joining Democrats to approve the spending package. One Democrat sided with Republicans in opposing the bill.
The package now heads to President Joe Biden for his signature.

Congress is hooked on OPM. They take it from us and spend it on whatever they want. Biden actually said once that he has millions of dollars to spend anywhere he wants to. He brags about it just like he bragged about withholding billions to Ukraine until they stopped investigating his son. Let's go, Brandon!!!!!!! and take Congress with you.

"The bill passed 225-201 with nine Republicans -- Reps. John Katko of New York, Chris Jacobs of New York, Liz Cheney of Wyoming, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Fred Upton of Michigan, Rodney Davis of Illinois, Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington and Steve Womack of Arkansas -- supporting the bill."
Nancy "Puke" Pelosi can always count on the RINO'S.

There should only be a handful of Republican candidates without credible, adequately funded opponents in the primaries. Otherwise, all our protestations are as meaningful to them as last year's fruitcake.
The primaries start now.

"The rich get rich, and the poor get poorer."
Unfortunately, our country is the one getting poorer. We will become the Tower of Babel with no order and no peace. I hope the quote from the Bible becomes true for these people.
"The hole you dig for others is the one you fall into yourself."

So, veep pence had some authority to holdup the crowning of Jill’s hubby as resident in chief as this monstrosity makes the role strictly ceremonial. Hmmph, Trump was right it seems.

Here are the worst thoughts when I am at my most pessimistic:
- This Omnibus will trigger inflation like you have never seen
- Now that '22 election is behind us, energy crisis will deepen.
- Repeal of title 42will open the flood gates of illegal 'immigration' wider.
- Trump will be 'prevented' from contesting the '24 election
- DeSantis will lose to an even more pathetic Joe Dement - UniParty will have total control of our lives
- Hakeem Jeffries (or whatever his name is) will become Speaker.

We go through this every year. Everything that is on the democrats wish list is loaded onto the bill. They threaten government shutdown. Republicans throw their hands in the air. The bill is passed. Republicans scream about it. Put blame on democrats. A cry of outrage.
We don’t have the money to pay for what was passed. They cut out the important services that is necessary for our safety and survival and pay for the boatload of crap that rewards our enemies, it hastens our loss of freedom and assures that government keeps their boot on our neck.
