'Saturday Night Live' Opens by Ripping
Republican Candidates as Morons and Menaces

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 10/30/2022 10:38:21 AM

NBC's Saturday Night Live is electioneering for the Democrats again, opening the October 29 show with a fake PBS NewsHour. That could be a rich target for satire, but they only think it can be mocked as news your grandma watches. Introducing three Republicans who are running for office this November, fake Judy Woodruff began with Kenan Thompson, who played Herschel Walker, the Senate candidate from Georgia. “Hello, Judas,” he said. “My name is Herschel Walker, Texas Ranger, and I am running for president of the United Airlines.” If you're laughing, you're a Democrat.

The happiest people in the country over the pending MAGA wave are the writers for SNL. They no longer have to censor themselves over the illegitimate Biden administration and can go back to producing racist, ignorant rants about all the Trump "bogeymen" for their low-information, non-voting, adolescent viewers. There will be secret high-fives in the writer's quarters at all the left wing media centers on Wednesday 11/9.

Even local news is difficult to watch these days, since it parrots Dim Party propaganda and nonsense.

Although SNL would not ever have been described as any more than insignificantly conservative--Norm McDonald had his moments--during its first two decades (1975-1995), the show had some hilarious skits, leading some cast members to fame and further success. Belushi, Aykroyd, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, Chris Farley, Kevin Nealon, Phil Hartman, Chris Rock, and on and on. There was a lot of talent in the cast, and among the writers back then. Liberals and conservatives laughed. But leftists truly have no sense of humor, and now they see anyone right of center as the enemy. SNL has gone whole hog to the left. Consequently, they are obsolescent and fading away. It's time for them to toss in the towel and go on retirement. Afraid to offend the Hive, they're no longer funny.

Incumbent Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro counted truckers among his most fervent supporters in Sunday’s presidential election. The truckers are evidently not taking Bolsonaro’s narrow loss to socialist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva very well, as reports are coming in from across Brazil of truck drivers blocking roads and demanding a recount. Some of them have even called on Bolsonaro to stage a military coup to retain power. (Tweet/Video) As of Monday morning, at least 47 roadblocks were reported in 14 of Brazil’s 27 states, including Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. At one point on Sunday, authorities counted over 100 roadblocks.

Former President Donald Trump turned to the Supreme Court Monday as a last-ditch effort to keep his tax returns from the eyes of a House committee. Trump asked the high court to block the House Ways and Means Committee from uncovering his tax returns. The committee has sought the former president's tax records since 2019 while he was still in office. "The committee's purpose in requesting President Trump's tax returns has nothing to do with funding or staffing issues at the IRS and everything to do with releasing the president's tax information to the public," Trump's lawyers said in a filing to the court.
