Guillermina Fuentes has been sentenced to 30 days in the Yuma County Detention Center after she was caught on video trafficking ballots in San Luis.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Guillermina Fuentes finally pleaded guilty more than 15 months after she was indicted on four felony charges. The heavier charges of Forgery and Conspiracy were dropped in Fuentes’ plea agreement, and she only pleaded guilty to one minor count of ballot abuse.

30 days in jail! That's all!? How about execution? The penalty for voter fraud and election tampering should be immediate execution and nothing less. Until the penalty for a crime out weighs the crime, crime will continue.

She pulled the old Nixon defense, I-am-not-a-crook. The judge said, ''Yes you are.''

Undermining America's most hallowed institution gets you 30 days at county?
A bookie illegally running a local gambling ring based on Monday Night Football would get more than 30 days.

The "plea deal" is one of the biggest, if not the biggest problem we have in our judicial system, it has created worthless, lazy, rubber stamping DA's, and removed any real deterrent to breaking our laws.
It has been said voting is a sacred right, it is the fountain from which all other rights flow. Our ability to participate in our government, to be able elect our leaders and dictate our countries direction is contingent upon the ballots we cast being counted, and only the ballots we cast.
As such she committed a crime against over 350 million people, and by not prosecuting her to the fullest extent so did the Arizona DA.

I don't care about this little mouse.
Who paid her? Follow the money and arrest the people at the top.
They always throw a little nobody under the bus and close the case.

Agree with #1 just not the degree ... how about 30 lashes with a cat-o-nine followed by the thirty days. After they get out of the slammer they will have a lifelong reminder of the consequences of their attempt at voter fraud.

If you're a Democrat vote trafficker, you probably heaved a sigh of relief at this sentence. You're raking in many thousands of easy dollars, and now you know for certain, if you get caught it's no big deal.

What poster #7 said. We need to know the organizers. With what it basically a no cash bail DA release, the law has little leverage in getting at those organizers.

I agree with responder 1. This is a mere slap on the wrist. I bet her job will be waiting fo her when she gets out and they'll hold a big rally for this political prisoner'.
When you deliberately circumvent something as important at voting, you should be punished in a way that sends chills down the spines of anyone tempted to do the same.

Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that Guillermina Fuentes of San Luis, a former Mayor of the City of San Luis, was sentenced Thursday October 13, 2022 to a two-year term of probation, and was ordered to serve a 30-day term in the Yuma County Jail for her role in an August 2020 Primary Election “ballot harvesting” scheme where early ballots from other voters were collected and deposited into a ballot box on primary Election Day.
This wasn't the general election, but the PRIMARY. This has nothing to do with the Presidential Trump/Biden election. The courts did not say the election was stolen. The courts did not say the election should be overturn.
Fuentes was found guilty of 'ballot abuse'. There is a link to it...
A. Any person who knowingly marks a voted or unvoted ballot or ballot envelope with the intent to fix an election for that person's own benefit or for that of another person is guilty of a class 5 felony.
B. It is unlawful to offer or provide any consideration to acquire a voted or unvoted early ballot. A person who violates this subsection is guilty of a class 5 felony.
C. It is unlawful to receive or agree to receive any consideration in exchange for a voted or unvoted ballot. A person who violates this subsection is guilty of a class 5 felony.
D. It is unlawful to possess a voted or unvoted ballot with the intent to sell the voted or unvoted ballot of another person. A person who violates this subsection is guilty of a class 5 felony.
E. A person or entity that knowingly solicits the collection of voted or unvoted ballots by misrepresenting itself as an election official or as an official ballot repository or is found to be serving as a ballot drop off site, other than those established and staffed by election officials, is guilty of a class 5 felony.
F. A person who knowingly collects voted or unvoted ballots and who does not turn those ballots in to an election official, the United States postal service or any other entity permitted by law to transmit post is guilty of a class 5 felony.
G. A person who engages or participates in a pattern of ballot fraud is guilty of a class 4 felony. For the purposes of this subsection, "pattern of ballot fraud" means the person has offered or provided any consideration to three or more persons to acquire the voted or unvoted ballot of a person.
H. A person who knowingly collects voted or unvoted early ballots from another person is guilty of a class 6 felony. An election official, a United States postal service worker or any other person who is allowed by law to transmit United States mail is deemed not to have collected an early ballot if the official, worker or other person is engaged in official duties.
Not sure this even means voter fraud. More like the person was not authorized to handle ballots.
This whole thing looks more like a show trial then anything. See! When sent somebody to jail! Fuentes was used as a scapegoat. Wonder if she was compensated for the hardship.
This is a bad joke.
