Politico Magazine published a Beto O’Rourke profile this morning. The headline sort of hints at the possibility that this particular cottage industry for the media could be coming to an end soon: “Beto O’Rourke Is Making His Last Stand in Texas.” The story itself doesn’t offer much hope that Beto is heading for anything but another disappointment. He’s literally praying for a miracle.
In a cavernous, modern sanctuary at Greater Mt. Zion Church, the Rev. Gaylon Clark introduced Beto O’Rourke to his congregation one recent Sunday as “the next governor of the state of Texas.” Then he raised his hand and, over the strains of a keyboard, prayed for “victory

Why is this "church" allowed to do this without risking their tax-exempt status?!?!?!?
Seriously, if a church were to host a conservative candidate, and praise him during the service, and call for everyone to vote for him, the lie-berals (especially in the media) would be screaming bloody murder about "separation of church and state"!!! But especially in black churches, this garbage happens all the time for lie-beral Demon-Rats, and not a peep from the lie-beral media or anyone else!!!!
However, this "church" and "minister" had better remember that God doesn't help evil -- He hates evil!!!! And if Robert Francis Beto-the-faux-Mexican O'Rourke isn't the very walking definition of pure evil, I sure don't know what is!!!!!

Beto can always do his drunken albatross dance on bar counters for quarters...at least he'd be more entertaining that way.

President Trump eliminated the rule of 'no politics in church' first imposed by LBJ.
Texas has some black dimocrats who could run for governor or senator. Sheila Jackson Lee, Al Greene - why not them?

#1, the article doesn’t say but I’m guessing that it‘s a black congregation and, as we know from the past, those churches don’t have to follow the laws. What recent demonrat candidate for national office has not campaigned in a black church?

So much for the demonrat socialist Marxist screed about the "separation of church and state" argument.
It comes in handy to make the appeal in black churches for dems. Republicans doing the same thing would be excoriated and called a gathering of insurrectionists, deniers, and anti-American conclaves.
Recall Hitlery's "I ain't no ways tired" cornpone accent speech.... and of course her angry, passionate speech that "we have a right to disagree with any administration" presentation,
Beto has the money, $1,000,000 Soros dollars included, and he has even agreed with Governor Abbott that he will keep military forces on the Texas Border, but has NO INTENTION of stopping ILLEGAL ALIENS from coming and even supports amnesty for them! Sort of the "I smoked weed but didn't inhale" ruse.
Here come the fraudulent polls showing that he actually has a chance of winning put into the 24/7 spin cycle... Only massive numbers of Republican voters will put this to rest, so it is up to Texans to get their like-minded friends to show up and vote.
He must know that even IF he was elected, the Texas House and Senate will be majority Republican so he really has NO CHANCE of getting ANY of his dictatorial inspired agenda passed.....

beta would not have a prayer without the outside of Texas money from the DNC and hollywierd and the left leaning media's adoration of the ersatz kennedy.
I recall the dim's (and their media's) outrage when Reagan spoke at predominantly white First Baptist in Dallas but crickets as their candidates spoke at black churches throughout the south. The dims cannot win by being honest; They rely on the ignorance and blind allegiance their voters.

ANYBODY who spends his or her professional career as a public servant instead of gaining experience in the private sector is ALREADY a loser in my book. Arrogance, power and corruption are so seductive to so many dupes.

I FINALLY bit the bullet and dumped my long long time subscription to Vanity Fair (in the old days a bastion of great gossipy profiles) after they put Beto on the cover as the next potential President. He is such a light weight that I am amazed he doesn't blow away, skateboard and all. As to Vanity Fair and its elite judgements............

I go back and forth as to which loser candidate/media darling candidate I find more loathsome: Beto or Stacey. They would make a great ticket for 2024, wouldn't they -- for the Vacuous Party.

Beto is toast, but in the pathetic empty-suit category, never discount the Buttster. He'll make his move.

Beto's novelty act has worn out. He's no longer amazing anyone with his feats of table dancing. He has no presence that I see outside of TV ads, and they're not particularly engaging. Frankly, I find the one featuring the mother of a Uvalde shooting victim to be in bad taste.

Beto sees himself as the white, girlie-man Obama.
