Joe Biden Delivers a Mess of a 60 Minutes
Interview, Leaves His Handlers Scrambling

Joe Biden appeared on 60 Minutes on Sunday evening, and it was an absolute disaster of an interview. As I type this, stories are already coming out about how he blindsided officials in his administration and how his handlers are scrambling to clean up the mess. In fact, within an hour of the interview premiering, the first clarification had already dropped regarding comments the president made about defending Taiwan from a Chinese attack. That was the second time in the last few months that the administration has had to walk back Biden’s comments on the subject. Things didn’t get better as the topics changed. When asked about inflation, Biden gave

My understanding is that this slobber fest was taped on Thursday so why weren't his handlers aware of the mess he made until today? Surely someone from his staff was there to keep him in check. Not that I mind watching them have to constantly clean up after him, sometimes literally, and can't wait for the Peter Doocy, KJP show tomorrow. Gotta laugh to keep from crying was never more true than it is now.

In ONE interview, Brandon exposes the incompetent fraud he and his administration are. Note that while Brandon is a moron, his administration and the dem Congress have pushed this mess onto the country through their arrogance and mindless progressive thinking. Then Brandon says he is still thinking of running in 2024. If his brain hasn't completely turned into tapioca by then, the continued and WORSENING damage the dems have done to the economy will make him unelectable. In fact, it will make the dem party unelectable in most of the country. The American People are feeling the pain on a daily basis as gas, electric, healthcare, grocery, and every other bill rises. They BLAME Brandon and his party, and THAT is key. There is no confusion as to the pain they are suffering AND who is at fault. When we slip into a recession next year because the dems have destroyed the economy, the People's anger with the dems will only grow. Brandon refuses to even acknowledge the problems that are crystal clear to the voters. His arrogance, total cluelessness, and tone deafness are appalling and even cruel. The dems are worried about losing Congress this year. 2024 could be an extinction event for the dems.

No harm done in Biden's disastrous interview on 60 Minutes. Why do I say that? 1. No One, other than a Woke Leftist Democrat, ever watches 60 Minutes. Any person with a brain stopped watching that fraudulent show 35 years ago. 2. If the show was only viewed by Woke Leftist Democrats, they will cover for Biden, and never admit that he is senile. 3. Biden's White House Communications Team will issue "clarifications" and walk-backs on everything he said. 4. The 60 Minutes interview never happened, and the NYT, WaPo, LAT, and the LeftMedia will ignore it.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called for more “collective” action in her address to the U.N. General Assembly on Friday, especially on the issues of climate change, nuclear non-proliferation, pandemic response, and opposing wars of aggression such as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Ardern’s authoritarian impulses were on display in her call for tighter regulations on Internet speech, although she insisted she values free speech and merely wishes to cleanse “disinformation” from international discourse. Ardern portrayed the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, which New Zealand addressed with some of the heaviest lockdowns to be found outside of communist China

In a major victory for members of the NYPD’s largest police union, a judge ruled Friday cops who were fired for not getting vaccinated against the coronavirus have to be reinstated. In the stunning decision, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Lyle Frank wrote that the city’s vaccine mandate on the Police Benevolent Association was invalid “to the extent it has been used to impose a new condition of employment” on the union. The mandate was also invalid because it issued enforcement beyond “monetary sanctions” prescribed in the law, Frank wrote — ordering that all PBA members put on leave or canned be reinstated.

I don’t believe we have covered the story of Cayler Ellingson, the 18-year-old North Dakota boy who was murdered by 41-year-old Shannon Brandt. Why did the murder happen? Brandt says he ran Ellingson down with his car following a “political argument” because he thought Ellingson was part of a “Republican extremist group.” Where might he have gotten that idea? From the President of the United States. So far no details of whatever conversation Ellingson might have had with the much-older Brandt are known, but apparently it didn’t take much for Brandt to conclude that he was dealing with a “Republican extremist.” Not surprisingly, local authorities say there is no evidence

In spite of Joe Biden’s continued delusional pronouncements that “the economy is just fine, man,” most Americans are feeling the detrimental effects of his economic policies with every purchase from the gas pump to the grocery store and beyond. Each month since the 1970s, economists have used the newly released and updated Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) data to quantify the economic health of the country. To do so, they add the current U.S. unemployment rate, which is a semi-stagnant 3.7%, to August’s worse-than-expected rate of U.S. inflation, which is a harsh 8.26%. Originally coined by intellectual powerhouse and policy economist Arthur M. Okun in the 1970s as the “discomfort index,”

Is Joe Biden President? That’s the question to ask after staffers walked back Biden’s latest remarks on Taiwan. During his rather uneven “60 Minutes” interview with Scott Pelley last weekend, Biden firmly and clearly announced that the United States would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion. This was a dramatic statement, and a substantial shift from America’s traditional policy of “strategic ambiguity” on Taiwan, in which our response to Chinese saber-rattling over the island nation was essentially “fool around and find out.” Biden was not at all ambiguous: If China went to war with Taiwan, it would be war with the United States and its allies. That departure made some sense.

An Arizona judge ruled Friday that the state can enforce a near-total ban on abortion that had been blocked for nearly five decades. The 1901 law bans all abortions, except in cases in which the mother’s life is in jeopardy. The ruling by Pima County Superior Court judge Kellie Johnson comes in response to a request from state attorney general Mark Brnovich to lift the long-standing injunction that prevented the law from taking effect. Johnson wrote that a judgement and injunction signed in 1973 blocking the law, ARS 13-3603, “no longer has any prospective application.”

Criminal charges will probably not be warranted in the investigation into Republican representative Matt Gaetz’s alleged sex-trafficking scandal, prosecutors have advised the Justice Department. Senior department officials have not confirmed whether the lawmaker will be charged, but the prosecutors claim that a conviction is unlikely to result from the probe, according to the Washington Post. The department typically heeds such recommendations, they said. The prosecutors said the case was undermined by a lack of credibility demonstrated by two key witnesses against Gaetz, including the 17-year-old girl whom Gaetz was alleged to have had a sexual relationship with.

Investors unloaded short-dated British government bonds as fast as they could, with the cost of borrowing over 5 years seeing its biggest one-day rise since 1991, as Britain raised its debt issuance
