Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz on Sunday defended former President Donald Trump after the FBI seized documents from the former commander-in-chief’s Mar-a-Lago home.
Dershowitz emphasized on Fox News Channel’s “MediaBuzz” that he voted against Trump twice and was “looking forward” to doing it again but said the FBI engaged in an “improper search” to obtain documents. “Look, I voted against Trump twice. I’m looking forward to an opportunity to vote against him for a third time, but I will not compromise the Fourth Amendment or the Constitution or the principles I’ve stood for all my life in order to get Trump,”

Well, a lot of legalisms are being discussed in regard to the raid on Mar-a-Lago, but, really, we know what is wrong with it. It is a political hit. Arguing fine points would be okay if not for the fabricated evidence of the Russian rap, two failed impeachments of DJT, or the threats against General Flynn's son, or the early morning, well-publicized, raid on Stone, and so on. Who can see this as anything but a continuation of the fanatic effort to take down Trump.

Hey Dershy! Not voting for Trump WAS compromising those supposed principles - or maybe you just THINK you possess them in the first place.

Of course it wasn't proper, but then ago Professor, when has the Lame Duck Joe administration obeyed the judicial system, even at the SCOTUS level. LDJ doesn't care. His minions don't care. His followers don't care. The FBIers and other agencies don't care. LDJ believes he is above the law. We know it. He knows we know it. But he still doesn't care. Since you voted for the LDJ admin, you are complicit in its lawlessness.

So many people pretend to have principles, when it's easy! The only reason for someone as seemingly intelligent as Prof Dershowitz, to vote for Biden, is a deep and abiding hatred of the United States of America.
He had to know what would happen with that imbecile at the helm.

Who has done the most good for the country, Trump or Biden? Trump.
Who has done the most harm to the country, Trump or Biden? Biden.

Alan, you’re such a slimy little hypocrite. Always have been. When you got caught up in the Epstein Island scandal you made enough noise and threw enough debris in the air that you deflected enough attention, but never doubt that we know this…your soul is black. Now go away.

Dershowitz says this to maintain some credibility with his liberal friends. A vote against Trump in Massachusetts is meaningless. Who knows if he is telling the truth? But I do appreciate his insights. He's smart and on the side of justice for all, not just for Democrats.

Dershowitz, what is it about Jewish people like that causes you to embrace leftism. The Hitler's persecutions of Jews in Europe during WWII taught you nothing? But at least we got the "improper search" garble out of you.

Perfect example of way too many demoslut voters. In order to make themselves think they are better than everyone else, they think and vote for every stupid issue advanced by demosluts so they can say and act enlightened. Even if said issue goes against their gut feeling and their personal goals.

I respect Dershowitz's voting choice, as well as his dedication to the rule of law, but why won't he help Trump if he feels he is the victim of an improper search?
I suspect he's trying to salvage his "invited guest" status in the Hamptons.

Mr always a liberal lawyer would vote for A Hitler if he was running against D Trump.
Wonder how sacred his lawyer, client oath would be if a camera showed up in his face.
I thought the secret of our actions in the voting booth were secret for a good reason.
Being able to vote for a person or an issue is the fundamental strength of our constitution.
