Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) hit back at Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for criticizing his reported decision to vote “No” on legislation that would codify same-sex marriage. Speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday, Buttigieg was asked to comment on Rubio reportedly calling same-sex marriage legislation a “stupid waste of time” as Americans face so many struggles. “If he’s got time to fight against Disney, I don’t know why he wouldn’t have time to safeguard marriages like mine. This is really important to a lot of people. It’s important to me,” said Buttigieg. “Our marriage deserves to be treated equally. I don’t know why

I wish someone would explain to me why anyone pays any attention to Mayor Pete. He was unsuccessful as a mayor of a small town, an incredible failure as a presidential candidate and now he is demonstrating his incompetence at work and as a parent. Is he just the most recent media phenom, like Michael Avenetti, "the next challenger to President Trump" who is now facing considerable jail time as well as bankruptcy?

Butt Pete, who as Secretary of Transportation, can't get the trains to run on time, can't get the airlines to run on time, who as Mayor couldn't fill the potholes of the streets of South Bend IN, is worried about his marraige. Marraige is regulated by the States subject to limits set by the state's own constitution and the U.S. Constitution, and not at the Federal level. But Butt Pete, a Harvard Graduate, can't grasp that concept.

There are lots of issues that need to be addressed in this country that are harmful to everyone. Things like inflation, gas prices, food shortages, supply chain issues, and many others created by liberal Democrat/Biden policies. Gay marriage is not in danger. This law is just a Democrat smokescreen to show t"they care" and Republicans don't while they (Dems) ignore all of the other real issues. Look for more fake issues to pop up as we get closer to the midterm elections.

Here's my take on it. The gay community can live as they please just like others do of different persuasion, heterosexual. What this type of legislation gives this group is supreme dominance over another. This will force others to bake a cake they do not wish to, religious orders who don't recognize same sex marriage to perform it. It's a hammer in the hands of homosexuals and as Rubio said, "a waste of time".

Bingo Rubio for the win. Mr Petey, if your “marraige” is so threatened how are you “married”? Who is revoking your states law governing it? Rubio is correct. You are clueless as to the difference of state or federal for you are on board with the communistic view that your Democrat party and your ilk must tell me what to do to function in my daily life to support you. I'm with Senator Rubio. Worrying about Homosexual "marriage" is a waste of time. When American's are faced with real problems put upon us by the regime Petite Pete is part of. Maybe Booty Gauge needs to worry about doing his job and not the perversions between him and his "husband." Of which no one gives a Schiff about.

The Department of Justice has begun investigating former President Donald Trump as part of a criminal probe surrounding January 6th and his attempt to “overturn the election.” According to the Washington Examiner, questions are being asked about what Trump said in meetings around the time, including what he may have told others to do in regards to stopping the certification of the election results. One specific line of inquiry entails the so-called “false electors” scheme members of the press have been going nuts over.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ignored cries of anger and desperation from farmers and provincial officials last weekend by pressing ahead with a climate change agenda that will dramatically reduce Canada’s use of fertilizer — the same ruinous strategy that drove Dutch farmers into revolt and destroyed the agriculture of Sri Lanka. The Toronto Sun reported on a dismaying Friday meeting of federal and provincial ministers, in which the latter could not convince the Trudeau administration to show any “flexibility” in its emissions targets, not even with a global food crisis on the horizon:
