Now that Twitter is under new management, there are increasing calls for billionaire owner Elon Musk to move the company’s headquarters to a red state. That idea probably won’t sit well with many of its San Francisco-based, progressive-posturing employees who reportedly are melting down over the visionary and often eccentric entrepreneur’s stunning $44 billion purchase of the influential social media platform in the name of free expression.Parenthetically, the pro-censorship political/media establishment, as well as the blue-check brigade generally, are also experiencing a collective panic attack over the acquisition.

He should definitely move the company from taxing Ca. That alone would double any profit.

T for Texas; T for Tennessee. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Musk has been looking at sites next door to the Austin plant. Both Pflugerville and Hutto are sites he has looked at. Don't know if this would include Twitter but Tesla's growing.

#4, - not Hutto, please! This great little town (25,000 population) would be RUINED by the influx of Cali idiots! They'd probably demand the high school change it's mascot from the 'Hutto Hippos' to something less racist. Or sexist. Or fatist. Whatever, they'd mess everything up. I mean, really . . . you know they would!

You thought liberal Twitter employee heads were exploding now, wait until they think they might need to move to (God forbid) Florida@, Texas, or near those hillbillies in Tennessee! The employees would all light themselves on fire rather than expose their sophisticated Elitist selves to " those people ".

that would be the icing on the cake, cherry on the sundae, cinnamon on the toast, au jus on the prime rib and special sauce on the Big Mac- this is proving to be such an event, I have a hard time believing it is happening - just one thing, Mr. Musk please put me in charge of your transition team

I think all their employees work remotely, so Musk would just be moving the corporation for tax purposes and to rub Newson’s nose in it.

I think he should fire all the ne'er do wells immediately. Six months is way too much time for them to cause too many problems. Clean house now, Musk. It's not worth the risk. Make them love the economy of luxurious unemployment and mediocrity that brandon has created. Compete with President Trump and show the world how it's done. May both men win!

Move the company to Alabama and prohibit anyone from working from home.

I've been saying the same about the federal government for years. Start moving the federal government offices from DC to red states around the country. Literally put the levers of government back in the hands of its citizens. Drain the swamp!

Move it to the reddest state in the country, wherever that might be.

Didn't Musk relocate Tesla headquarters to the Austin Texas area? Isn't Austin Texas viewed as San Francisco south by many Texans? Having never been there, I can only go by stories I've read or heard concerning the Austin Texas area.

You can almost be assured he will move his private company to a state that's not as hostile to business as California.
He moved Tesla right?
Remember, when you're 100% remote work, you are now competing with essentially everyone possible who could fill that position, not just the folks in your regional geography.

Some where in the south, so those precious snowflakes can be introduced to real culture, like hawg hunting and BBQ. That'll wash those pasted on commie-culture beliefs away real quick.

How about putting it in Oklahoma? They have been a pretty sane state.
