World to run out of food in 27 years and
248 Days!

Original Article

According to a report in the Daily Star, a UK tabloid, some scientists are now predicting that the world will run out of food in 27 years. 27 years and 251 days, to be more precise…as of Sunday, April 24th, 2022. (Start your doomsday countdown at home!) So, that’s it, the science is settled, apparently. We are done by 2050. But, what if, say, 26 years from now half of us go on strict diets and limit our caloric intake…or 60% of us are by then vegan…or 10% of the projected population has been killed off by Lyme Disease/Islamic radicals/leftist economic policies?

Comments:

I first ran into this SCAM in 1972 with the Club of Rome's book Limits to Growth. They had computer experts who had created detailed computer models which PROVED that we would run out of critical metals, food supplies, water, etc. - all in 10-20 years or so. From 1972, so 1992 at latest. Or not.

If you ever wondered if some of these EcoCrazies REALLY want you dead, and if they would REALLY make some weird deadly shot - I mean could it really be that crazy? Well, if they buy this BS, maybe so.

You know, some day, some day, one of these guys will be correct on their guess -- be it when we run out of oil, when climate change wipes out the planet, when the second coming will occur. But for now, they're all "o-fer." It's always a safe bet to take the over on any of those predictions. Which reminds me. We need to thank President Trump for all he did for clean air and clean water and stuff like that. When he took office in 2017, the wags were saying the earth had 10 years left. Last year (2021), AOC said we had 12 years left. So you do the math. 2017+10 = 2027 first prediction. 2021+12=2033 AOC's revised prediction. That means, in the four years of President Trump, he extended the life of planet earth by SIX YEARS!

If you have socialists (Dems) in charge, then 27 years are plausible. Put freedom-loving, liberty-promoting people in charge, you won't need to worry about food supplies. Get the government out the bloody way!

No more food in twenty seven years. Bill Gates together with China have amassed over 600,000 acres of prime farmland in the United States alone. We've got man-made viruses from China (again) and man-made vaccines that both kill millions. Has anybody else noticed the rash of explosions and plane crashes effecting our food production and processing facilities? My brother told me in the seventies we would run out of oil by 1972. Then they discovered"fracking". A curse of you fracking. Let's face facts...our excess population is not dying fast enough. They need some help and Bill Gates and China with an an assist from little brother Russia are just the guys to do it. That's the plan and the end-game to save the planet.

The Leftist solution is to turn most people into vegetarian peasant socialists living in 3rd world poverty and then to kill off half the population for good measure while the rich elite in their mansion estates rule over it all like feudal lords. Then Mother Earth will be saved. The real solution is to have free market capitalism everywhere and to industrialize the entire world to a USA standard of living. Population size naturally decreases as the both the working and middle classes grow and prosper.

The city council of Haven, Kansas, voted 3-2 on Monday to reverse a unanimous decision they made May 2 to remove "In God We Trust" decals from the city's police cars, following an uproar from some in the community. The city attorney said the Haven City Council's previous decision emerged from a desire to maintain a separation between church and state, according to local KWCH. The follow-up vote on Monday was not on the original agenda of the city council, which had to move their weekly forum to a nearby community center because of how many attended. Seven people spoke at the typically uneventful meeting, where all but one supported the decals.

Chiang Kai-Shek, who succeeded Sun Yat-sen as head of the Kuomingtang (KMT), the nationalist, anti-communist party behind the Republic of China (ROC), dedicated his life to building a unified and modern China. By 1949, though, he’d lost the long war on the mainland against communism and was forced to retreat with his followers to establish the ROC on Taiwan. From that day forward, Mao Zedong wanted to destroy the ROC. His generals prepared for a Battle of Taiwan, something Xi Jinping apparently still desires. Xi may discover, though, as Mao did, that the ROC and Taiwan aren’t easy to destroy.

The illogical leftist mind contradicts its own ideas without a care for their destructive nature. On the one hand, the greenies want everyone to eat a plant-based diet because meat and milk from animals are evil. On the other hand, they want to eliminate commercial fertilizers and return completely to "organic" agriculture. See any problems with these two disparate goals? Fertilizer shortages are making news these days, and not just here in the USA. Of course, the shortage is being blamed on our catch-all, ubiquitous "supply chain" issues and Putin, especially since many of these products are made of components from overseas.

With all the thousands of studies bombarding the medical community, it’s helpful to set our microscope aside and look at the bigger picture. It’s virtually certain that the virus was engineered in Wuhan with financial and technical assistance directed by that highly competent bureaucrat, Anthony Fauci. But that doesn’t tell us what we should expect as the virus moves through society. For that, we must look at the science. And I don’t mean “I am science” Fauci. I mean real scientific data, something with which Fauci has little acquaintance. Perhaps we should start with that great scientist, Oprah Winfrey, who recently opined that ending the mask mandate on airliners was “premature.”

This is from the Associated Press: Families opting for homeschooling, private schools and other options sent enrollment down sharply in the first full school year of the pandemic, and generally it has been slow to recover. In Houston, the largest district in Texas, enrollment tumbled by more than 22,000 to around 183,000 in fall 2021 and only about half of those students have returned. One of the left's useful narratives is that Native Americans lived in idyllic, pastoral harmony, only to have this paradise brutally destroyed by the invading Europeans and their Christian God. There's some truth (some Native American tribes were peaceful and some Europeans brutal), but that's not important for the left. Angelic indigenous people and evil Whites are the core story for them. That's why it's intriguing to learn about the fate of 150 people whose skeletons were found in a cave in Mexico. The skeletons were actually found a decade ago. Many ideas considered radical a decade ago now enjoy mainstream support in the environmentalist movement. Demands to "decarbonize" electricity production are proceeding apace despite the limitations of generating electricity reliably and affordably from renewable sources alone. The technology to store energy simply hasn't kept pace with our ability to generate it, leaving renewable sources like wind and solar handicapped by their inherent intermittency. Consequently, renewables provide only a fraction of Nebraska's energy needs and find economic viability only through a regime of heavy government subsidy. Despite this technological deficiency, clean energy advocates still insist we decommission "dirty" sources sooner rather than later.

As a result, Spinrad wrote, the subagency overestimated wildlife effects, delaying permitting on existing leases.

As a pro-life atheist, I’ve never been more confused. That starts with the fact that Ocasio-Cortez is herself Catholic. Does she consider her own faith “fundamentalist”? I presume she’d say the Church requires its members to be pro-life in their private conduct (isn’t she pro-choice?) but doesn’t require them to enshrine their beliefs in public policy. If that’s the case, I’d politely refer her to today’s news. Beyond that, she seems to be arguing that abortion is some sort of religious right. Conservatives have accused the left for years of treating abortion as a sort of sacrament but it turns out we didn’t know the half of it.
