'Fire Pat Sajak!' Media Tries to Create

People across the country are outraged and hurt by a tasteless, misogynistic, offensive joke that Pat Sajak made during an episode of the long-running game show, Wheel of Fortune. Before watching the video below, please go to your safe space, clutch your teddy bear, and have your therapist on call in case it traumatizes you.If you’re still reading this, it means you weren’t too traumatized to continue. Congrats. In sum, Sajak asked Vanna White if she was an opera buff, she said no, and he shot back with “have you ever watched opera in the buff?” It was a silly retort, a quick play on words.

Comments:

Stand your ground, Pat. Don't apologize. That would be the beginning of the end. It was a harmless joke, nothing more.

it is obvious that as a nation we have to much money, and time on our hands. A joke, however badly played, and in today's world Johnny Carson would be ostracized by the woke, is not worthy destroying a man or a woman over. Double entendre' are dangerous in today's politically sexualized society. Best not try humor lest it become a mob with pitchforks and torches. "Are you an Opera Buff", turned humorously to "Do you ever watch Opera in the Buff", is so mildly risque that fifty years ago nobody would have done anything other than perhaps to snicker at it. Dear God help us all.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an audience. Not since all the covid crap. The contestants stand feet apart from each other, they each have some kind of tool in their hands to twirl the Wheel and when they go to the final round Sajak stands away from them and after they spin the wheel, Sajak has them walk several feet away while he pulls up the 'envelope' that tells how much money they will make if they get the final puzzle. The audience is never shown and if he/she wins, their family doesn't come up on stage like they used to do.

Forget about the dispute between progressives and conservatives. The real chasm that divides our culture is the dispute between fans of wheel and fans of jeopardy. Pat sajak is a condescending jerk. Do you prefer cultural literacy or a children's guessing game ? Calm and quiet dignity or silliness ? I know people who flee from jeopardy like a Democrat flees from an honest debate.

Talk about selective outrage. Just a few days ago, there was a picture of Lady Gaga wearing a shirt that depicted Snow White being held down and raped by the 7 dwarf's. Something wrong with society where a celebrity thinks rape is made fun of but another person can't make a joke about someone being in the 'buff'.

Example of sexism. If the rolls were reversed and Vanna had made the joke or if Pat had made the joke to another man we would have never heard about it. Of course its also because Pat isn't a leftist.

Big Tech suppression of right-wing content is obvious to anyone paying attention but is difficult to prove. We see the evidence on our Twitter and Facebook feeds, but the driving forces behind what pops up on our devices are the clandestine algorithms that are meticulously maintained and well-guarded by the information gatekeepers at these leftist companies. The results we see are hidden within the programming used to spit out what we consume on these sites. Censorship, however, is different from suppression, though equally problematic. And censorship is measurable. A terrific recent examination of this issue by The Media Research Center focused on the censorship of unfavorable content concerning President Joe Biden

The breakdown of civil society continues. Over the last several years, we’ve seen mass riots, increased violence on airplanes, soaring murder rates, a rise in road rage incidents, and more. The latest: New York Yankees fans Saturday pelted Cleveland Guardians players with trash and empty beer cans at the tail end of a routine and frankly unimportant game in New York. While the violence didn’t approach the level of 2004’s Detroit’s infamous Malice in the Palace, it was still pretty ugly. According to the NY Post: In an extraordinary scene, Gleyber Torres’ walk-off single was immediately overshadowed by altercations in the outfield

There’s been a lot of big news over the last several months regarding John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. The trial of Michael Sussman, who recently lost a bid to dismiss the case, is coming up shortly, and the most recent filing points to a wide range of targets for Durham. Yet, there’s also something else buried in those revelations: It looks like Christopher Steele, the author of the infamous Trump Dossier, is going to get off scot-free. Donald Trump held a rally in North Carolina on Saturday night, but it wasn’t the normal theatrics and hilarity that the former president delivers that made the biggest impression. Rather, it was an endorsement that seems to have come out of nowhere, and I’ll go so far as to say it may be his worst ever (yes, worse than Morgan Ortega) — at least as a Republican politician. Honestly, I know some people take umbrage with anyone ever questioning Trump’s decision-making, but this is truly a head-scratching moment. Researchers used computer modelling to find the optimal diet combination to meet nutritional needs, while also minimising global warming potential, water and land use. They found that if people in Europe replaced meat and dairy with foods produced through new technologies, such as making fake steak out of bovine cells, it could significantly reduce all environmental impacts. Not only that, but it would be nutritionally adequate and meet the constraints for what can be feasibly consumed, according to experts

LONGVIEW — In 2019, Washington created one of the most generous college financial aid programs in the country. Compared with a program it replaced, the Washington College Grant allowed many more students to qualify for free or subsidized tuition. No longer would eligible students be denied aid because of caps tied to limited funds. By all rights, the state's colleges should have seen a rush of applicants. Instead, enrollment plummeted. Community and technical colleges experienced a combined 24% drop between fall 2019 and fall 2021. Public four-year institutions saw a collective drop in undergraduates of nearly 7% during that time period
