Disney workers are planning walkouts during their breaks every day this week to protest CEO Bob Chapek's 'slow response' in publicly criticizing Florida legislation that critics have dubbed the 'Don't Say Gay' bill. The act of protest will culminate next Tuesday with a larger walkout by LGBTQ workers and their supporters at Disney worksites in California, Florida and elsewhere, the group of Disney employees said this week on their website. Organizers asked Disney workers to respond online whether or not they were planning to participate in the full-scale walkout next week.(Snip)Statements by Disney leadership over the Florida legislation 'have utterly failed to match the magnitude of the threat

Comments:

Disney already is so disgustingly gay, even around children, that I would not give them a penny. And yet, nothing short of Disney CEO Bob Chapek's resignation, and replacement by a homosexual or better yet a transgender pedophile, will please this crowd, such is their tolerance for anyone not on the LGBTQPedo train.

“It also requires districts to 'adopt procedures for notifying a student's parent if there is a change in the student's services or monitoring related to the student's mental, emotional, or physical health or well-being,' something LGBTQ advocates argue could lead to students being outed to their parents without the student's knowledge or consent” OK - we’re talking about 5 to 9 year olds here. Why SHOULD’T their parents be notified? What 5, 6, 7 year old even thinks about sexual orientation, unless someone older has introduced the topic to them? Good grief, let children have their childhood unencumbered with sexual politics!

Anyone besides a parent talking to ANY minor about gender, sexuality and the like is predatory sexual grooming. Plain and simple. They should lose their jobs on the spot, do serious jail time where the inmate population will serve up swift hard justice, and then put on sex offender registration. To do less is endangering the welfare of children.

One of the reasons I have gone to Disney properties only twice in my 65 years in due to their first allowing communism a hold in their ranks and now LGBTQ. Walt wanted a family friendly business and you people have turned it into hell. You can't make anything these days without appealing to pedophiles and depraved people who hate traditional families - which still make up 80% of successful civilization. you will eventually offend so many, you will fall. God save your souls.

I think DeSantis has already made it quite clear that Disney will have zero influence on legislation in Florida, and neither will the 5.5% of the population who claim to be gay. So Disney can pander to this group with as many millions as they wish. This law has overwhelming support by Florida voters and there’s nothing else Disney can offer.

Read the text of the law and SHOW me where the threat to LGBTQ community and children is. Is the threat that they will no longer be able to indoctrinate K-3 students? Is the threat that their activism in schools is being called out and they may be held responsible for any unwanted advances on children? I wonder what run of the mill, everyday gay people, the non activist kind of gay people, who just live their lives, and do not push any agenda, think about these loud mouthed activists who make all gay people look like subversive child molesting pedophiles whose main focus in life is who they get to have sex with and to make sure that everyone knows that they are GAY GAY GAY and that is all they are.

Fire them. A work place is not an employee’s playground to be used for their own personal enjoyment. This bill has nothing to do with their work place. A work place is not to be used for expressing personal political opinions. It is time such employees stop thinking with their sex organs and start thinking with the head on their shoulders. The public schools in Florida are falling short of teaching what really matters. Schools are not meant to replace parents nor are they meant to be a place for brain washing social engineering agendas. At the age of the kids this bill is targeting, it’s the parent’s job to handle such topics as they see fit and not from a group of individuals that as a whole do not have children to raise and think they know what is best. It’s time schools are no longer thought of as a parent replacement or as a daycare center.

A Manhattan man who was beaten by a mob of dirt bikers—along with his father—said Thursday that the wild, caught-on-video brawl was sparked by a mere “accident.” The 35-year-old man told The Post he now worries about his 64-year-old father, who suffered a concussion and is struggling after the disturbing broad-daylight assault Tuesday in Harlem. “I’m OK, I’m just really concerned about him, concerned about my father,” he said. “I want them to find them, and justice. “Because it was an accident, all right? What was the point of assaulting an elderly guy? Like 10 people. Anybody’s a man with 10 people.”

The federal government paid out at least $163 billion in bogus pandemic unemployment benefits, and less than 1% of that bad money has actually been recovered, an inspector general told Congress on Thursday. Labor Department Inspector General Larry D. Turner said the states that doled out the federal money weren’t prepared for the massive infusion of cash in their unemployment systems and were using outdated systems easily exploited by fraudsters. The result is that of $872.5 billion in federal unemployment money spent, at least $163 billion—or 18.71%—of that were improper payments. The inspector general said just $830 million has been recovered two years into the pandemic, which works out

President Joe Biden called Vladimir Putin a 'murderous dictator and pure thug' in his St Patrick's Day speech on Thursday that started with the quip: 'I may be Irish but I am not stupid'. Biden ramped up his attacks on the Russian leader, a day after finally calling him a war criminal, in remarks that started with him going through his Irish heritage at the annual Friends of Ireland Luncheon. 'Father before I began, bless me, father I'm about to sin,' Biden cracked, making the sign of the cross as he addressed Rev. Thomas O'Connor while standing between Irish and American flags inside the wood paneled Rayburn Room

Just five days after going to jail to begin his 150-day sentence, Jussie Smollett is a free man again. Considering what’s been happening in D.C. to people who, at most, trespassed, the whole Jussie saga has been disgusting and this is one more chapter to irritate or even enrage those who believe in the rule of law. However, much as I hate to say this, the appellate court that released him while his appeal is pending probably made the correct legal decision. (snip) Smollett’s attorneys had argued that he would have completed the jail sentence by the time the appeal process was completed

On her MSNBC show early Wednesday afternoon, host Andrea Mitchell hoped that the war in Ukraine “at least is helping the Democrats” politically heading into the midterm elections. Washington Post deputy national editor Phil Rucker agreed with her partisan assessment and touted how President Biden was trying to falsely use the conflict as a “scapegoat” for high gas prices.“And I want to quickly ask both of you about midterms because we have seen the President’s declining poll ratings stabilize and even edge up with the way he’s responded on Ukraine,” Mitchell told her guests in the 12:00 p.m. ET hour.

Russian forces bombed a theatre where hundreds of civilians, including children, were sheltering in the encircled port city of Mariupol on Wednesday, the city council said.Officials said it is impossible to know how many people were killed or injured in the attack on the Mariupol Drama Theatre because the shelling of residential areas continues in the city, meaning rescuers can't reach those in the rubble. Satellite imagery from Monday showed the word 'children' written in large white letters in Russian in front of and behind the theatre building in an apparent effort to stave off any attack by Putin's forces. But two days later, Russian forces bombed the theatre
