Tennis star Novak Djokovic and his wife own an 80 percent share in a Danish biotech firm developing a treatment for COVID-19 that does not involve vaccination, the company’s boss said on Wednesday.
The Serbian native 34, and his wife Jelena, 35, bought a majority stake in QuantBioRes back in June 2020, just months into the pandemic, the company’s chief executive Ivan Loncarevic confirmed to Reuters.
Loncarevic did not say how much the stake was worth but confirmed that Djokovic owns 40.8 percent while his wife owns 39.2 percent of the company.
Efforts to contact a Djokovic spokesperson for comment were unsuccessful.

FTA:
QuantBioRes has about 12 researchers working in Denmark, Australia, and Slovenia, according to Loncarevic, and the company is developing a peptide that inhibits COVID-19 from infecting the human cell.
The CEO stressed that the company was working on a treatment and not a vaccine for COVID-19, and expects to launch clinical trials in Britain this summer, according to Loncarevic.
The word “inhibits" makes me wonder if this isn’t more a vax type approach than a treatment. ???

Well, if it is a safe and effective (ACTUALLY) alternative to the spike protein death shots, it should be useful.
But the pandemic is pretty much over, and the latest, very weak version isn't really doing much more than a normal influenza virus.

I cannot help but wonder if there is a connection between his ownership interest in this company and the Australian decision to prevent him from competing in the Australian Open.

Spike may be over, but that isn't to say there isn't another version, 3.0, coming our way. I don't believe SARS is going away in my lifetime, I'm old, and so long as there are evil Fauci's in the world we are not safe. So please keep on investigating and searching for cures, and cheers to anyone, scientists or others, who are putting their money where their mouths are.

Interesting! This start up is pioneering a novel way of designing molecules that interact, opening the door to developing a peptide (or other molecule) that interacts with the COVID virus. (Might all be pie in the sky as any new technology might be!)

The therapeutic approach is multi-pronged and already exists. So these guys are going to develop something new so they can make money on it? Well, OK. I think I'll stick with off-label use of compounds that have a multi-decade track record of safety, thank you. Not to mention they're quite cheap.

What I really would be interested to know is how many shares of Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, etc. are owned by members of congress and the administration.

So the Global Elite who invested in the vaccines had a very big reason to disparage and cause everyone to hate this tennis star. It’s getting easier to follow the dots!

Focus needs to be on treatment not vaccination. Yes, there are current treatments but Djokovic is free to invest his money where he so pleases. I applaud him.

Re: #1's question. I use a nasal spray, obtained originally OTC in Ukraine, a dilute solution to interfere with viral reproduction in the nose/sinus which prevents infection. The same protease inhibitor works well orally to inhibit reproduction of the virus inside you if you get infected. The material is an FDA approved drug, for a different purpose, and is demonstrated safe at doses much higher than the antiviral doses.
Unfortunately, it is a generic, nobody will pay for antiviral trials beyond small lab trials which have been done many times, at many research centers, mostly in the former soviet states, and always showing excellent results. Lots of papers written, essentially no US docs are aware of it, use as an antiviral is off label, so not likely to grow. Our system is very, very BROKEN. There is no value to saving lives, no market penetration just because you can stop death and harm. Those are irrelevant in our system.
The new Pfizer treatment is a different protease inhibitor, works roughly the same way as what I have obtained, but costs tons more because it is patented. Pfizer says it is 85% effective at preventing hospitalization and death. I don't trust Pfizer, but this fits very well with my information from my MD PhD researcher friend in Ukraine who has used it on COVID patients with good effects, all recovered with no serious illness.
There are various ways to inhibit viral growth that are not vaccines, but direct action on disrupting reproduction....like protease inhibitors. And as a preventative nasal spray, they inhibit ALL viral diseases, colds, influenza, etc. OTC in Ukraine, or was last time I visited. Small packets of powder, have to mix up your own nasal spray, or use orally for treatment of a viral infection.
In the bacteria world, for example, erythromycin does not actively kill bacteria, but is called an antibiotic (I think it is technically a bacteriastat) because it inhibits the reproduction of bacteria very effectively. Some antibiotics kill bacteria directly, but this one just interferes with replication. Same for certain antivirals, like protease inhibitors.

That over 2 years into this pandemic and the USA has zero official protocol for early treatment of COVID is despicable and shows how owned the medical and pharmaceutical professions are by Pfizer and Moderna. Good for Djokovic and any other pioneer who is trying to fight this disease!

Sounds like snake oil but should work better than the not a "vaccine".
