WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Thursday halted enforcement of one of President Joe Biden's signature efforts to combat COVID-19, ruling that his administration doesn't have the authority to impose sweeping vaccine-or-testing requirements for employers that would have covered tens of millions of Americans.
The unsigned opinion, which came days after the justices heard arguments in the emergency appeal, marked the second time the nation's highest court had unwound a key pandemic policy of the Biden administration, once again concluding that federal officials had exceeded the power given to them by Congress. The court in August blocked Biden's eviction moratorium, ruling that it, too, amounted to government overreach.

Pappy poopy pants should have gone to the court and given them the Pope treatment and then babbled incessantly about a baseball player. Now that they’ve ruled against him he’ll want to pack his pants and become pappy pants packed.

Now that the frontline workers (healthcare) have to get the shots, if anything happens to them they do now have the right to sue the gov't and pharm. There's enough info out there that shows this vaccine is a farce.

The Demented Fuhrer and White House Chief of Staff Ron "Kommandant" Klain must be disappointed. Perhaps Attorney General Merrick "Gestapo" Garland will label 6 justices as "domestic terrorists".

So, what happens to the thousands and thousands of people who were forced to get jabbed when they suddenly get major health problems? Where do they go for justice and compensation?

Associate Justice Stephen Breyer wrote for the three. "And in so doing, it stymies the federal government’s ability to counter the unparalleled threat that COVID–19 poses to our nation’s workers."
WRONG! It's not about OSHA's ability. It stops OSHA from expanding the scope of its jurisdiction beyond that which has been delegted by Congress. Congress has not authorized OSHA to do whatever is within its ability.

Kavanaugh and Roberts sided with the liberals on the Medicare case. I knew Roberts would try to get some kind of compromise. Disappointed in Kavanaugh.

What will happen if a large percentage of our health care workers develop complications or major health issues as a result of receiving the mandated experimental vaccines? What will happen to everyone else if there are no or few physicians to reach out to because the doctors themselves have been removed from duty as the result of receiving the mandated experimental vaccines?

What is the difference between mandating the vaccine for private companies and mandating it for healthcare workers? If it is illegal to force one group to get vaccinated against their will, why is it legal to force another group. Given that the vaccine does not prevent getting or passing on the Covid virus, the mandates for healthcare workers is just an ineffective power grab by the Biden administration which will make the health care worker shortage even worse.

#10 is exactly right, but the obvious unequal application of the law never bothered the SC brain trust.

Have to wonder how many careers have been upended for those who refused to submit to this blatant act of tyranny before this court decision.

There was a shortage of healthcare workers before the covid. With this ruling, there are going to be huge shortages of healthcare workers. The system is worthless, and your insurance premiums are going to be paid in return for no service.

Where do the people who were already terminated go? Will their ex employer reach out and offer them their job back with a "We're Sorry"? Will the terminated even want to go back to the former employer? Peoples' lives have been ruined, altered on many levels, more than just financial. What would the workplace environment be like for the unvaxxed? Would their co-workers even welcome them back if they are so riddled with fear porn?

Trump telling us about "so much winning" and naming that bogus loser, Kavanaugh are two of the worst moves of his presidency.

Roberts - always the compromiser. His legacy remains intact. Kavanaugh - are we seeing shades of Roberts in him with looking to the Constitution being ok, as long as it doesn't make too many people angry.

Forcing needed health care workers to be jabbed is a bad idea.
When they start quitting-or dying-the country is in deep Yoghurt.
We recommend that all the politicos in the known universe get every jab and booster being made and mandated.
In this way, we may discover large amounts of toxicity are killing off every pol in this brave and stunning new medical test group.
C'est dommage!
As their paymasters like to say, they were useful idiots-- but useless eaters-- whose usefulness to the State is o=ver.
