Brandon Biden Tells Us Who He Really Is
in Train Wreck of a Speech in Georgia

As expected, President Biden and Vice President Harris visited the state of Georgia earlier today where a sometimes confused Biden gave a scripted, angry speech in which he did a complete 180 on his previous remarks from his decades as a Senator about preserving the filibuster, endorsing making whatever changes necessary to the Senate rules in order to, as he said it, “prevent a minority of Senators from blocking action on voting rights.” “When it comes to protecting majority rule in America, the majority should rule in the United States Senate,” he stated. For those who missed the moment, watch below:

Here we have a racist Democrat calling the Republicans “racist.” Why oh why when accused of racism don’t Republican leaders point out that it was the Democrats who fought a war to keep and expand slavery, established segregation when the war was lost and prevented black people from voting? Democrats created the Ku Klux Klan and opposed Republican efforts to make lynching a federal offense. The public needs to know the Democrat Party’s vile history.

Do better. That is the message from some Senate Democrats to Joe Biden’s White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeffrey Zients. In a letter signed by the senators, they urged him to do better in their COVID response plan, present that plan to Congress and request additional funds if needed to contain the pandemic. Two of the senators are Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. Do you think maybe Biden’s heavy-handed approach to twisting their arms over blowing up the filibuster rules in order to get voting legislation passed that gives federal control over all elections may have something to do with their participation? Who could blame them

A week from hell? Indeed, and a self-inflicted week from hell, which hasn’t escaped notice — even at CNN. Last night, Erin Burnett fact-checked Joe Biden’s claims on Tuesday that his election-federalizing project separated the righteous from the racists, especially when it comes to Georgia’s supposedly objectionable “restrictions.” Burnett didn’t compare Georgia to Biden’s home state of Delaware, which had been the target of much criticism, but instead looked at deep-blue New York. Which state makes it easier to do early voting? To get absentee ballots? You’d never guess from Biden’s rhetoric, Burnett pointed out

A Thursday New York Times essay, titled “We Need to Think the Unthinkable About Our Country,” begins by deeming the U.S. perhaps “even more alarmingly fractious and divided” one year after the January 6 Capitol riot.

Political prognosticator Larry Sabato has been gazing into his crystal ball at the University of Virginia for 20 years and has seen it all — the Democratic wave of 2008, the GOP tsunami of 2010, and smaller gains and losses from both parties. But Sabato looked at all the factors affecting this year’s midterm election — redistricting, Biden’s unpopularity, GOP messaging — and has concluded that the Republican battle cry for 2022 should be “Drive for 35” — winning a net of 35 seats would give the GOP 248 seats in the next Congress. It would be the largest majority the Republicans have held since the Great Depression.

But 12 months into his presidency, many describe a coalition in crisis. Leading voices across Biden’s diverse political base openly decry the slow pace of progress on key campaign promises. The frustration was especially pronounced this past week after Biden’s push for voting rights legislation effectively stalled, intensifying concerns in his party that fundamental democratic principles are at risk and reinforcing a broader sense that the president is faltering at a moment of historic consequence.

With what we have witnessed with Midyear Exam, Crossfire Hurricane, the Whitmer Kidnapping, the 2020 election, and now the January 6 “insurrection,” it has become obvious that our government is not that of a healthy functioning democratic republic. But the depths of the corruption, and how far bad actors are willing to go in corrupting our society, has largely remained hidden. But there are encouraging signs.

By next November, the economy will be a political dry hole for Democrats as it’s very unlikely that inflation will ease, and chances are getting better for the double-whammy of inflation and a slowing economy. Domestically, their agenda is stalled and doesn’t appear to have much chance of getting through the Senate.
