The current administration just announced that they are going to provide 500 million test kits for Covid. These kits will be distributed to the general public somehow and will test for something in some way associated with Covid. Pardon my skepticism, but I have to wonder just what they will be testing, and what will they do with the results. After all, the CDC recently withdrew their request to the FDA for emergency use authorization for the PCR Covid test. For most of the last two years, this test has been considered the Gold Standard for distinguishing between an active Covid infection,

An online poll conducted by the staunchly left Guardian newspaper seeking nominations for “Person of the Year” has been turned off sparking speculation it was shut down when author J.K. Rowling took the lead.

The epidemic of wokeness can infect companies in any industry. We’ve already seen it contaminate companies from the transportation, restaurant, banking, and online retail industries. Wokeness is all around us, and it’s unacceptable. Historically, many of these organizations are some of our favorite companies and brands who gladly take our money while trampling on our conservative values. Ceasing doing business with certain companies on our list may be difficult, if not impossible for some of us. But at the very least we must understand who these companies are if we want to have an impact.
An advocacy group has written a letter to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg calling for greater equity in car crash dummy tests, claiming that the male body has been far too favored, leading to needless deaths of women.
The letter from Vehicle Equity Rules in Transportation (VERITY NOW), co-chaired by former Republican Congresswoman Susan Molinary, claimed that vehicle crash tests have not adequately taken into account of the harmful effects that collisions have on female bodies. The letter stated:

U.S. prosecutors decided to end their criminal case against two Manhattan jail guards who admitted to falsifying records on the night the financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself on their watch. In a Thursday filing in Manhattan federal court, prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss claims against Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, after both complied with the six-month deferred prosecution agreements they agreed to in May. Harris appeared on "Face the Nation" when host Margaret Brennan asked her on the issues of inflation going into the "third year" of a pandemic. "Was it wrong to consider inflation transitory? These price spikes seem like they’re going to be with us for a while," Brennan asked.
The question referred to a previous statement pushed by White House press secretary Jen Psaki that insisted inflation was only "transitory" and should go down within the next year.
