Directed Verdict and Big Problems for
the Prosecution in the Rittenhouse Case

We reported earlier about the bombshell testimony at the Rittenhouse trial from Gaige Grosskreutz — the third man shot by Kyle Rittenhouse. He admitted Rittenhouse didn’t fire until he advanced on him and pointed his gun at him. In other words, a perfect example of self-defense in that interaction. Here’s the take showing the position at the time Rittenhouse fired with the Grosskreutz’s gun pointed right at him. It was a perfect television moment, the kind you usually only see on law and order shows, not so much at real trials. Many may have wondered about the comment about a “directed verdict” mentioned in that first video. The defense can move

Here’s what i still don’t understand, why wasn’t Grosskreutz also charged? He was participating in a riot, he was carrying what I would guess is an unlicensed firearm, he threatened and aimed said unlicensed firearm at a person with intent to do gravis harm yet he smuggly sits there as a witness rather than a defendant.

My question is why didn't the prosecutor interview Grosskreutz before the trial.? It's just plain stupid to bring someone to trial without knowing what the people in it were going to say. Has this prosecutor ever won a case ? He didn't have a case here. I don't see how any jury can convict after this testimony.

The point is to put the fear of Biden into anyone trying to defend themselves against an aggressor. Kyle will go to jail because he is white and they want to make a point. In Chicago every week they have MANY shootings and no one is in jail or scheduled to be prosecuted. But, because Kyle is white he needs to be made an example of.

The judge won't issue a directed verdict. This is about "justice" and The Community...and the judge won't take that verdict decision away from a jury under those circumstances. Otherwise, the meme starts that it was a sham trial. Watching Lyin' Lester Holt last night on NBC Nightly News, you'd have no idea that Grosskreutz testified as he did about those events during a "racial justice demonstration". See, while he was running after Rittenhouse, he wasn't chasing him...he was going to be a community hero. Why anyone watches this propaganda spew is unfathomable to me.

This witness was coached far beyond the level of witness interview. It's readily apparent his testimony was scripted and rehearsed. Moreover, the witness was coached by the prosecution HOW to testify. You can see him turn and make face contact with the jury every answer. In a sane world, this used to be considered witness tampering in criminal matters. Trump campaign associates went to jail for less.

Wait for it. In the days before the verdict, there will be a violent mob outside the courthouse threatening the judge and jury.AND their families if they don't come to the 'correct' decision. Grosskreutz and his deceased allies are Soros' paid agitators. He will get the best verdict money and power can provide.

This judge may be courageous enough to issue a directed verdict. He knows that would relieve the jury of any threats of recriminations from the woke mob. Let's pray he has that kind of courage.

Unfortunately, CommuNazi courts don't recognize any right to self defense. Rittenhouse will be railroaded again. He never should have been arrested in the first place if there was any justice in this country. .

Shocker: Bidenflation hits 31-year high,
hammers households on broad swath

Remember when inflation was supposed to be “transitory”? Good times, good times. Instead it appears to be accelerating, even more than yesterday’s look at wholesale prices suggested. The consumer price index hit its highest annual inflation rate in 31 years last month, and the blow to households is both powerful and broad: Inflation across a broad swath of products that consumers buy every day was even worse than expected in October, hitting its highest point in more than 30 years, the Labor Department reported Wednesday. The consumer price index, which is a basket of products ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents, rose 6.2% from a year ago.

President Joe Biden continues struggling with messaging to Americans about what his administration is doing to make things better for the difficult 2021 holiday season. The White House released a video on Tuesday evening of Biden trying to reassure Americans things were going to be fine, despite looming reports of shortages, and stubbornly high costs for ordinary goods. “I know a lot of Americans are worried whether or not there’s going to be enough stock on the shelves for Thanksgiving and Christmas,” Biden says in the video, as a reassuring soft piano soundtrack plays in the background. Consumer prices grew far faster than expected in October, according to data released Wednesday by the Labor Department. The consumer price index (CPI), which tracks inflation for a range of staple goods and services, rose 0.9 percent last month and 6.2 percent in the 12-month period ending in October, the highest rate in the U.S. in 30 years. Analysts broadly expected the CPI to rise by 0.5 percent last month, up from a gain of 0.4 percent in August, and 5.8 percent over the past year. The sharp jump in the inflation rate is a dismal sign for President Biden and Democrats as they face growing pressure over rising pieces.

The rate of new COVID-19 cases in California is currently more than twice the rate in Florida, prompting debate about draconian public health measures implemented across the Golden State, like vaccine mandates for small children. California is averaging 16 new cases per 100,000 residents the last week compared to just seven in Florida. California’s full vaccination rate (62%) is higher than places like Florida (60) and Texas (54), where state leaders do not enforce mask policies or support strict mandates. The Golden State has seen a surge of more than 60% in new cases in the last two weeks, compared to a 20% drop in the Sunshine State.

Jake Sullivan, President Biden's White House national security adviser, is the "foreign policy advisor" referred to in the indictment of former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, according to two well-placed sources. This is the closest Special Counsel John Durham's investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation has come to anyone directly associated with the Biden White House. Sussmann was indicted for allegedly lying to the FBI on Sept. 16, and has pleaded not guilty to one count of making a false statement to a federal agent. This case came out of Durham’s probe into the origins of the Russia investigation.

We’ve written before about how the prosecution seems to have been imploding its own case in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. There was the opening statement where the prosecutor, Thomas Binger, claimed that Rittenhouse was chasing Joseph Rosenbaum rather than the truth that it was the other way around. Then he questioned his own witnesses without seeming to know what they would answer — with Richie McGinniss saying Rosenbaum lunged at Rittenhouse, said “F**k you!” and grabbed Rittenhouse’s gun and Ryan Balch saying Rosenbaum threatened to kill him and Rittenhouse. Today was perhaps the capper of them all that completely blew up the case. The defense was questioning Gaige Grosskreutz

Though Gaige Grosskreutz spent a couple of hours on the witness stand, the man Rittenhouse wounded that night blew up the state’s case in one short span of cross-examination on Monday. Two other men were killed by Rittenhouse that night. Grosskreutz was a medic and was a peripatetic protester. He lived in Milwaukee and traveled to Kenosha to continue his 75-day protest streak following the death of George Floyd and the wounding of Jacob Blake in Kenosha. He live-streamed

My friend who reads the New York Times alerted me to this article about rural America’s continued movement away from the Democratic party. I’m glad he did. The article is well worth reading. The most noteworthy thing about the Times’ piece is the numbers it presents from Virginia: In 2008, there were only four small Virginia counties where Republicans won 70% or more of the vote in that year’s presidential race. Nowhere was the party above 75%. This year, Youngkin was above 70% in 45 counties — and he surpassed 80% in 15 of them. Virginia has 95 counties. The Times doesn’t say how many of them are rural,

Congress is requiring in its $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that automakers install monitoring systems in their cars to stop drivers from operating their vehicles while intoxicated. The bipartisan package, which is on its way to the president's desk after passing the House on Friday, allocates around $17 billion for the road safety programs. Monitoring systems to stop drunk drivers would roll out in all new vehicles as early as 2026, according to the new legislation. First, however, the Transportation Department would have to assess what the best form of technology is and give automakers ample time to comply. Mr. Obama’s speech Monday at the COP26 climate-change summit is being mocked for his reference to host Scotland as part of the “Emerald Isles,” which is a nickname for Ireland. “Since we’re in the Emerald Isles here let me quote the Bard, William Shakespeare,” Mr. Obama said. “‘What wound,’ he writes, ‘did ever heal but by degrees?’” Observers pointed out Mr. Obama actually committed two gaffes in the same breath.
